With all due respect to the other player that demo on that channel, Aaron is really on another level! Also, I just saw the thumbnail and I was like wuuuut a custom Colour ‘58!
This is nothing short of a celebration of sonic beauty. Great playing Aaron, thank you all for sharing this. Let us not forget the Vibrolux's contribution, amazing.
I’ve got a custom color black 57 Strat with factory gold hardware all original with original tweed case, these are killer guitars. Wish I had the heart to refret it, cause it would be even more awesome
Great to see Aaron back on a demo! The original photos are really cool 😎 - they give the guitar personality and make it seem less like an object. Thanks!
I actually have a black Strat myself, of course it's not a 58" but I wouldn't sell it for the world. Just like always Aaron gave back to the guitar emotionally what it was giving to him In the moment. And I know about it being a dream to play, I don't know what it is about these Stratocaster's, But every now and then you find one that has a neck to die for and a sound that comes from a completely different dimension. It's almost as if the guitar is playing you on some strange level. Beautiful job Aaron has always, you all stay safe and thank you for sharing this beautiful piece of history, please keep it alive And nurtured for the next generations to come.
This guitar was made probably less than a year before I first started dilling around with a guitar. Last year of the maple board until around 1971 or '72, IIRC. Great axe, great amp, great playing.
The video with the Sunburst 58 really caught my ear with the Carr combo. I wonder if the Silver-tones recorded thier music? THAT would be good to hear!
nice playing really did justice to that beast omg, sounds so raw, so much power, the break ups of that guitar are just so freaking amazing, there are some guitars...that just have 1000000 songs to come out of them just by playing around with them, its like you just have to let your ears and fingers be guided by that instrument, it will show you its sweet spots where you might find a song that brings you into rock heaven...hell yeahhhhh
Ingenious ECG! You have a once in a lifetime guitar in the hands of a maestro “sold his soul to the devil” talent in Aaron Hiebert. This guy makes people think they can make it sound like that too! It’s Voodoo I tell you!
Amazing. I love the look of that guitar, and he sounds utterly fabulous too; all through a clean amp!!! Forgive my ignorance but, how rare ARE Black Strats? Also, what was the first year Fender used a Dark/Rosewood board? (unrelated to this guitar, obviously)
Not posting this as a knock on the guitar but, is it the guitar? Is it the Amp? Is it the player? What makes this sound so good. If he had an off the rack 2005 stat with the same shape neck, would it sound different? I’ve watched, listened, played various guitars. I’m just an average player at best but I don’t get “the” difference that would make these old strats worth 50 grand plus. Sure when a great player rips on one, it’s magic. But I’ll say with a great player he could make any Strat sound legendary. Not knocking here. Just wondering.
Would rather a respectfully refinished guitar than a new guitar that has been bashed up to make it look like it needs a refinish. This is a stunning guitar both visually and sonically. Don't sell it short.
Great playing...but it still sounds like a strat. Guarantee no one would notice the difference regardless of the year it was made, if you were playing live.
I like the production of your videos, but I don't like that the host shakes that valuable guitar as if it were any other object, it takes seriousness and a bit of mystique from the instrument.

That guitar+amp+player combo is probably one of the best I have ever heard
Aaron Hiebert!!!! Back in the Fender saddles again. SO great to hear this Strat played beautifully. Great vid as always.
Awesome day! Aaron is back and he's layin' it down!
So glad you put this guitar in hands of Aaron Hiebert. You have awesome playes, but Aaron is on another level. Fantastic player.
The guitars, tones and playing on this channel are absurdly good
This is nothing short of a celebration of sonic beauty.
Great playing Aaron, thank you all for sharing this.

WOW!! Aaron absolutely killed it! What an awesome guitar.
Easily my favorite player that you get to demo guitars. Absolutely insane player.
Great strat, great tunes and great playing. Love Aaron’s playing!
Aaron….. finally!
What a demo !
What a guitar!
What an amp!
Great sounding guitar, and some great work by the demo meister!

Emerald turning a new corner in video beauty. Aaron is sick, and skanking out Roxanne on a 58 Strat?!? It's all too good.
That kid was truly happy in that old pic

I always think I'm not really into maple board Strats until I hear Aaron playing one. Phenomenal!
Aaron is a Jedi.⚔️
Cleanest playing I’ve ever seen
Love the guitar player. Playing old tunes and putting some bluesy flair on em. Fire 🔥
Damn Aaron!!! Ruling bro!
Nothing better than a black strat maple neck
Big up for that ONE lick!!! Yeah sweet guitar
Insane 🤟

Its just a Black Strat....but at the same not at all just a Black Strat. Really stunning guitar!
WOW HIS DEMO HAD ME DROOLING 👍🔥🎸🦅
It reminds me of Clapton's stratocaster blacky. ✌🔥
Its a unicorn , beautiful 😍🎸

That guy was ripping on that strat - WOW
Hope this fellow took the guitar, the case, paperwork and photos to Antique Roadshow before bringing to you guys.
You can’t turn a pickle back into a cucumber, a refin is a refin
No matter how you wrap it, it's a 58' under that skin.
OMG thats crazy!
Wow!!!

6:53 is so good. More of these demo players need to play more melodic stuff like that instead of just nonstop blues rock every single time.
Dude can jam killer strat
Aaron Hiebert is a mind melter
People always ask, Are those 50s era guitars really that great? Video plays, jaw drops, mic drops. No more to be said. Thank you!

Im not sure theres any guitar left after the scorching demo.
Wow he went and grabbed that 5th gear at the end like a Shelby.
Roxanne!
sounds like a guitar, great.
Still say........you should have the dog in the videos too.........
Shocking🙉really💁♂️
8:40 Sounds like he's been listening to Bonamassa's new stuff. Pretty epic playing.
Sweet Jesus!!

Throaty and articulate! So much air between the notes! Tone porn! Great playing too!
“Bonamassa on Line 1”
black strat with no floyd??
Tasteeee!
Just keep throwing it around and dinging your ring on it
Might as well go ahead and advertise this as Jimi Hendrix's monterey strat.
Sounds like my Squier 😂😂😂
I see someone listens to Joe Bonamassa
i hate black guitars because they are impossible to keep clean; but that rocks
Dude swinging the strat around like wth. Is uhhhhhhh. Not cool 🤯
Great playing...but it still sounds like a strat. Guarantee no one would notice the difference regardless of the year it was made, if you were playing live.
Vintage fenders, where boomers and hipsters collide.
What the big deal about black?
The extraordinary rarity from that time period.
Erin's hair is getting long
Meh, for a lefty it's like buying a tin lizzie from Henry Ford. But those pickups; stunning.
Just FYI your recording process is causing clipping and it's kind of distracting.

Ohh, poor baby!
I have a question for you. What's a stepfather?
It’s a fender lol, it’s fine. Even if he dropped it, just tune it up and keep playing
Refinished ruins it
I dont think this player was right for this guitar .. didn’t get the tones out of this guitar that it possesses .. the harsh strumming was terrible...
Shame to use that much reverb and screw the tone completely.
