That wasn’t a demonstration that was a mini concert of Stratocaster mastery! One the best sounding my old ears have heard on UA-cam. I don’t want to own it I’d just like to play it and walk away satisfied. I hope the next owner plays it and doesn’t make it a museum piece!
I've played and collected Stratocasters over 33 years, even heard and played some really amazing vintage ones with my family owning a pawn shop in the mid 90s, and I can't think of lusting after another one much more than this.
WOW! This is my favourite Haron’s demo so far. I always feel like he don’t really seem impressed about the gear, like if it was just a good guitar, especially in the ‘58 korina V demo. But for this one, Haron look like he can feel the mojo out of this strat. Thanks ECG for your awesome upload everyday. It make my life better.
If the sky that we look upon Should tumble and fall Or the mountain should crumble to the sea I won't cry, I won't cry No, I won't shed a tear Just as long as you stand, stand by me
Stand by me, Strat brother ... One of the greatest songs/recordings of all time, with perhaps the world's greatest musical interlude every recorded. Good catch!
That is THE Strat tone IMHO. Sounds like a dream guitar to me. The weight plus the balance from neck to bridge pickup Is amazing. Cool history as well of course 🙂
Holy smokes!!! Talk about a sales pitch. That's how you do it! Fantastic playing, superb. The strat and the lux sound incredible. Sweetest combo's I have ever heard have always been fender valve amps and fender guitars. Nothing sounds like them.
While it’s arguably theoretical, that was one of my absolute faves from Aaron. Thanks for laying that down, so my ears could pick it up and enjoy it. Well done, my Good Man. Well done.
I just listened to this, picked up my beat 64, plugged into my equally beat 74 deluxe reverb, and I swear I played better than I have in years. Thanks for the inspiration Aaron. And thanks Willies American Guitars for the incredible refret on my old girl. Kevin
I would guestimate that those bridge saddles have been replaced along the way as they are right clean! And this Vibrolux sounds quite wonderful ... wooh!
Trust me. I love Stratocasters. My first guitar was a 1954. My second guitar was a 1964. Been playing them for 57 years. But I sure would love to see some early '60s SG Standards and Specials ... even some really good Custom Shop reissues ... Surely, you get one in now and then?
I came here looking at the guitar and contemplating a more traditional Strat, then @6:07 happened and I about yelled out loud like I was at a real show! Holy jamolee!!!! I wasn't expecting that!
Watched a few of yours vids. This is the first I've given a like. I don't often do 'likes'. Loved the story of a rare Strat and the tone. Super Uber Kudos to the demo player!!
As lovely as this guitar is, I think the credit for the tone in this video should go to the amp. I have a suped up 79 Vibrolux and it sounds like this. The small transformers and the 10” speakers, plus tube rectifier, are a magical combination - it is sweet but really screams when you push it. I suppose if I had a million, I’d buy the guitar and keep it locked in a safe. The better buy is in the amp. Someone should go and get it.
I started playing seriously, in 1961. I was in and out of music stores even at that age, and I do not remember ever seeing an original mint green pickguard ... they were all white or turtleshell (not tortoiseshell). I could be wrong, but I think those were the only two original pickguard colors, that I can remember. This IS a sweet Strat, by the way! And you can stand by me, on all of that!
Wow only 6lb?!! Blonde 59' strat hardtail omg!! One of my dream guitars!! The history wow!! I want it!! Can anyone spare 40k? Please!! Lol not sure how much it really is was i close? Way off? Prob i dont know?! Lol..Rock on and thank you for sharing!!
Funny how of all the people that played that guitar, nobody was "blown away" enough to buy it...lol If SRV wanted it bad enough, I'm sure he would've acquired it...
The guy you are calling Kenny Wayne Shepherd is actually a guitarist named Wes Jeans. He was/is a common player in the Dallas blues scene. And that is what the "WJ" on his strap is referring to.
Forget the demo. This is one of the best performances I've ever heard. The guy is spitting fire!
Dam! That was how you demo a Strat! Congrats to that guitar player, what a beautiful performance and worthy of that wonderful guitar. 🙏
Absolutely killer demo of a killer guitar

Wow, he nailed the SRV right-hand-to-the-side little movement. Its details like this that make me love these demos

That's the greatest damn tone ever. Yer playin' is ripping man. Wow
Holy cow. That's the best demo so far from this channel. Makes me wanna reserve the guitar even if I can never afford it in this lifetime! Killer!
Now that's a real demo of a fantastic guitar with tons of character. Played on a beautiful amp. And played by someone whom is the cat's PJ's!!!!!!
Some of the finest playing I’ve personally ever heard, unbelievable! And yeah, that guitar with that Vibrolux sounds killer!
That is THE Strat tone IMHO. Sounds like a dream guitar to me. The weight plus the balance from neck to bridge pickup Is amazing. Cool history as well of course 🙂
Dude playing is a beast. What a killer sounding Strat and a friggin KILLER history to go with it!
Those are some of the most incredible sounds I've ever Heard out of any guitar! Wow!!
Holy smokes!!! Talk about a sales pitch. That's how you do it! Fantastic playing, superb. The strat and the lux sound incredible. Sweetest combo's I have ever heard have always been fender valve amps and fender guitars. Nothing sounds like them.
In a word; WOW!!! What a storied Stratocaster and what an AMAZING PLAYER!!!
While it’s arguably theoretical, that was one of my absolute faves from Aaron. Thanks for laying that down, so my ears could pick it up and enjoy it.
Well done, my Good Man. Well done.
Thank you!! Super appreciate that!! It’s an inspiring guitar. :) Thanks again!

Incredible tone and playing!

This is one of the most beautiful guitar i ever seen, everything is perfect and the fact that it's hard tail make it even better
I decided to stand by you because of this video. The player was awesome
Another great demo. What a history, what a guitar!
Truly amazing piece!!!!❤
THAT my friends is how you demo a guitar. Aaron is a beast
That's the kind of sound and playing I love !
One of the coolest Strats I’ve seen in a long time! Thanks for sharing!
F'ing loved that playin man!!!!!!!!
I would guestimate that those bridge saddles have been replaced along the way as they are right clean! And this Vibrolux sounds quite wonderful ... wooh!
Great sounding Strat!? Wow 😳 Hardtail...honestly, most of the Strat’s that you make you go WOW 🤩 are hard tails? Great History.

monster strat and killer Aaron!
Tone monster, that demo was amazing! Bravo!!✌❤
I came here looking at the guitar and contemplating a more traditional Strat, then @6:07 happened and I about yelled out loud like I was at a real show! Holy jamolee!!!! I wasn't expecting that!
AND he actually plays the neck pickup! Just floored by this whole thing.
Watched a few of yours vids.

Super Uber Kudos to the demo player!!
What an amazing piece. All the great blues guys that have played this. Antone's was legendary. Shame no price was listed.
Aaron!!! That seems like a special instrument.
Wow, sounds killer! Great performance Aaron!
You’re the man Jay, what a cool story and thanks for sharing all that history. What a demo Aaron. Great stuff.
Always glad when a vid of yours comes out!
That is one killer Strat!
So epic!
Wow! What a cool guitar!!
That strat is a BEAST!! The amp isn't too shabby either! Some sweet pick'n!!!
What’s not to like about that set up? Wow.. awesome playing my friend!!
Fabulous tone-- iconic.
Great stuff 👏 👍
That boy is out of this world.
Would pay more for his first record than that beaten up strato😁
Great fn demo! Love that tone wow
that looks and sounds amazing! great amp too!
That demo smoked. 🔥🔥🔥
Rock on Aaron!
Amazing
Whoa..... I want that one.......
Freaking great playing. 🔥

Par favaaarrrr!!!
Awesome playing. Gonna plug my Squire Sonic Strat HT into my Frontman 10g and keep the dreams flowing.
This guitar unleashed something in him..
This is my dream set up. 59 strat is THE strat and what better to play it throughout the than a princeton.
Someone will buy that and say " why don't i sound like SRV"????? Nice demo, it was rockin.

As far as I know pre 62, there also where no Micarta White Dots on the rosewood necks.
@@xArsVivendi Clay ... But Leo ... well, you never know what Leo was coming up with or buying because he could get it cheaper ...
Sweet!
Inspired version of Stand By Me! Big time mojo with this one, only made stronger by Aaron’s demo. Thanks for giving us a look and listen 😎
Climax... total!!!
What a cool guitar....those saddles look pretty clean for a 50 plus year guitar No biggie Score
So … Aaron … did you kinda like that one a little bit? 😉 Love it when you can tell someone is just completely meshing with a tool like that.
That was a very cool intro
INB4 Joe Bonamassa buys this fixed bridge wonder
thats a very good strat i mean holy grail of strats
Wow only 6lb?!! Blonde 59' strat hardtail omg!! One of my dream guitars!! The history wow!! I want it!! Can anyone spare 40k? Please!! Lol not sure how much it really is was i close? Way off? Prob i dont know?! Lol..Rock on and thank you for sharing!!
the owner is @tracyfarmer on instagram, if some of you want to see more action with this strat!
That's a kickass amp
My first good strat was a hardtail partcaster with a brazilian board... in white pretty much like this one. Mine had an very light ash body.
Funny how of all the people that played that guitar, nobody was "blown away" enough to buy it...lol
If SRV wanted it bad enough, I'm sure he would've acquired it...
oh

I think my brother plays with Wes all the time.
Is it for sale now? If so let me know.
Blimey!
The "Shpoing" heard round the world !!!
That picture wasn’t of Kenny Wayne Shepherd, it’s actually Wes Jeans! #wesjeans
Absolutely, Wes Jeans is killer!! He won't like to be called KWS. I think Wes owned this guitar before Tracy Farmer?
woaw man
hello, what kind of light do you use in your videos? very nice picture!
3 minutes in we see the original tuners/bushings, nut, and frets. What are those brown circular items to the top right?
I’m pretty sure that wasn’t Kenny Wayne Shepherd in that pic. That looks like Wes Jeans to me. Correct me if I’m wrong.
Yeah. Hope it went to someone who’ll play it.
It did! Went to someone I know that plays it all the time! Super cool!
💥💥💥💥
Can you demo the 2008 Lowrider strat ? That has to be it behind him, right ?
Question: Do all 59 strats have whiter pickup covers (compared to the knobs) or is the colour variation due to ageing?
My 58 had very white plastic but knobs were a bit different cause hands touch them and not pu covers
Did they ever do a top loader hardtail strat?
Interesting version of Hendrix. It sounded like Fleetwood Mac's The Chain at the start.
Who’s the guitar player?! He made me count the money 😅
That Strat has more transients than an Arizona border town! Hooowee!
I have to have that guitar and amp......
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Anyone ask your buddy Ian Moore if he ever played that in his early years in Austin?
I bet John Mayer will buy this
at 1:20 is Wes Jeans, nor KWS
