- Blancpain is the oldest watch brand of the world and famous for its tourbillon. There is a core idea behind Blancpain’s tourbillon that lay behind the invention that was patented by Abraham-Louis Breguet in 1801. This video is going to explain the very idea.
Such a useful video. I got to listen to your music for 40 seconds and hear a half-assed explanation. COOL
Excellent explanation, you have helped my understand my Chinese single axle tourbillon, thanks, and I liked with nice large animation.
Best explanation ever...i now understand
love the vids... but the 30 second intro has to go
its just acknowledgement, skip over
It's way too long. Take it from someone in the industry.
in what industry may i ask
Post production. Been in television for the last 25 years. Worked on entertainment, long form video concerts, and documentaries.
16 years of production, television, radio, movies, singer song writer, entertainment
excellent video; very thankful for this clear explanation!
music is the best!
dang.. I want a tourby watch even more
Buy chineese one
@@JustDuxSugess at a little over half-a-thousand is excellent for the working man
beg the rate error cancelling part to be explained more for I could understand
So he said the gearing is wrong cos the two systems are off but when introducing the new gearing the correction is implemented and therefore cancel the error and the watch runs on time???
Can someone explain? If the power (from the mainspring) is delivered to the cage (escapement) always at a constant angle, why does it matter if the escapement-cage rotates? The mainspring is upstream of escapement in power transduction, and there will always be a bias in the direction of mainspring's power delivery. Indeed, don't you have to rotate the mainspring to balance the claimed affects of gravity?
gravity does not impact the mainspring at all. gravity does however impact the escapement and pallet fork. Now if the oscillating system is always kept in one position (historically: pocketwatch in pocket) it cannot work in perfect symmetry. You rotate it by averaging out the effect of gravity on those components.
Ok but how does tourbillon work?
RUS38 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Where is cage? He is too old, his brain doesn't work. Or mine????
I don't need to see you, show big gears on screen
I'm gna make it really confusing:
So there's an input force of the gear design that's rotating 360/whatever
Theres another gearing system that connected by shaft and another by shaft and gear ahhh shit I'm stupid
Or you could just go quartz.
Thanks for the info white bread.
Head hurts
My brain is melting too difficult to understand
Eyes melting from watching it work.
That design is the devil
What
It seems like you don't have a clue of how a tourbillon works.
The beginning of the word Tourbillion is not pronounced like the English word turbine !!!!!!!!!!!!
I stopped and disliked the video after I watch 30 seconds long intro. Now I can watch the rest.
Utku Demir I think thts how they stop ppl finding out the truth
Patience pays off. His explanation I thought was excellent.
Stupid explanation. Take off the aviation tag & all that, he doesn’t deserve a freaking watch-guy title he can tell jokes for his grandchild but not to inform any audience
Annoying music ever.
Everything has its own time and own season, so some ancient wise man wrote.
