Hi, i assume you have a Weller D55Pk soldering gun. I want to buy this Weller D550PK soldering gun. Do you still have you're gun and is it still working good? Hope to hear from you soon. Many thanks in advance
yes i still have mine and it still works great no problems for this type of soldering gun you can not beat Weller they have been around along time and knoiw what they are doing
@@KevinMillard68 I have the same soldering gun Weller 260-200 watts and works wonders for me no matter what nay sayers say about this. Too me it heats up pretty quick as soon as you pull the trigger. It lays down the heat pretty good on 8ga wire no problem.

How do you deal with the duty cycle? It doesn't seem to heat up when I need it, but if I wait a while, it will. Frustrating.
take a min holding the trigger to heat up its not instante thats for sure nothing really is
@@KevinMillard68 I hold it for a long time time. Put it down, then pick it up later and it will heat up.
@@mistermurtad2831 no idea whats going on with that
@@KevinMillard68 JUST gotta have patience
