  • Brock Waugh is an Australian bodybuilder and is the co-owner of ‪@MoreThanMuscle‬ alongside his mate Joel Kellett. In part 1 of this very exciting interview, Brock shares why like his compadre Joel, he also trains 6 days per week for majority of the year, however, unlike Joel, Brock has periods where he trains 4 days per week. In this segment, Brock explains exactly why that is, what his classic bodybuilding training split looks like when he's attempting to grow bigger muscles vs when he's dieting down and how he adjust his nutrition and training.

Love Brock! I love the differences between him and Joel’s approaches but the similarities too. Sometimes Brock’s approach feels more… relatable I guess. Hopefully there will be more videos, curious to see about his nutritional approach as well

It’s motivating to see that Brock is not 100% only dedicated to the gym and likes to enjoy life abit more and still has an incredible physique

Great interview. I admire Brock on his personality and how he built his physique. And youre right on legs in the classic 60s-70s. The leaner look was more appealing. Tom PLatz emormous muscular legs actually hindered his career in that he was out of proportion from his upper body. Impressive though.

so interesting how some of the great natty pros you interview swear that hitting a muscle once a week is optimal and more than once a week is too much, and other bodybuilders like Brock say that you need to hit a muscle twice a week to make progress (and once a week will only maintain). Kenny if you had to guess, thinking back to all these great interviews you've done, would you say that most go with once a week or twice a week? And I wonder what the overall average sets per muscle per week is among the guys you've interviewed

Arthur Jones said if you like your workouts you're not working intensely enough.
