How COVID-19 Affected NYC’s Food-Supply Chain | The New Yorker
LET'S SEND OUT A HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL THOSE WHO WEREN'T RECOGNIZED. ALL ESSENTIAL WORKERS SHOULD BE VISIBLE!
I am not a New Yorker, but a BIG Thank You to all of you workers.
Excellent reporting
I wish I could afford a subscription of The New Yorker
Thank you for making this video whose quality is like documentary tv shows and contents is very deep.
Wow, didn’t realize most of our food comes thru the Bronx 😳
Yup NYC grows nothing, all brought in
I keep seeing headlines and titles, like "affected" as if this is behind us.
Covid on increase in France at present
Me encanta este tipo de reportajes
Very informative video. Several months later, I hope everyone in this video is well . Thank you for what you do.
Thank you for your services.
Stop complaining about your condition and realize that it's the perfect timing to get the union in and ask for the living wage that you deserve. Imagine the major freak out if you threaten to go on strike, they will agree to give you a decent salary AND health insurance. You are essential workers!
I didn't hear him complain and I don't think hes doing too bad hes driving a new 40k + Dodge Durango
Right, make for sure you kill your employment by killing the business.
More like the community and the vulnerable getting screwed.
BRAVO!!
The important "invisible people" that provide these essential services: truckers, cashiers, and hospital clerks. Forget about the "influencers", youtubers, and billionaire reality stars who produce NOTHING.
E Meyr Amen!
Say it again!
Let's pray for each other and everyone else 🙏
I thought America had a ton of food since I always see the shelves completely full with food in the store. I was wrong.
Food prices are going up
Such little room to back a semi. I'm sure trucks and trailers get bumped a lot. and it's not cuz truck drivers are scared, it's because New York City's not made for today's truck sizes.
True, I respect those drivers backing a 53" trailer in NYC many have to hop the sidewalk just to make a turn
