Can we all take a moment to notice that Tyler didn't show any preview to the video and ruin it like all of us fans asked him not to do anymore? My guy listens to his audience and I'm here for it!!
@@653j521 I think he is genuinely ignorant about a lot of things. It's hard to say what he is trolling us about. Circle maker device does appear like something a comedian would say.
Yeah my favorite part of the vid was having to turn the volume down while he cuts then immediately hurry up and turn it back up to hear what he’s saying
One of the coolest hacks I've seen and used is: making a circular MDF cutout and use it on your bench grinder for sharpening and polishing metal. For those that don't know Medium Density Fiberboard is great for that, and you can apply directly to the DIY wheel "jewelers paste" or "GOJO Orange hand scrub with pumice" as polishing agents
Tyler wielding the most dangerous power tools with sharp blades: No safety glasses, no ear protection, inches from the family jewels. Tyler cutting with a piece of laser jet paper: Safety glasses, ear protection and the blade sealed in a metal housing. Only Tyler. Gotta love him.
FACTS! Like that cynderblock one where he stacks cynderblocks on a collapsable chair? he almost lost his feet and he just out there with open toe shoes
I’d love to see you triple up the “saw blades” and have like three paper discs together at once on that and see how it cuts, also maybe try “sharpening” the cardboard by like running a box cutter at an angle around the disc and give it an edge to cut with maybe? Loved this ❤️🤘
That table saw has to be the most insane table saw I've ever heard, it's like a mini jet engine sound. I had to turn volume off each time it was running
Ohh my STARS! Tyler : " besides your mom this is the most annoying thing I have heard in my life." 🤣😂🤣 thank you Tyler for another wonderful mom joke it's part of the reason why I stick around here that and your attitude about everything I love it!?! 🥰 thank you for another great video and I hope you have an amazing Sunday.
Laser cut mdf should work amazing I belive it's to do with the friction caused that makes the cut so some thin mdf will be stable and accurate allowing more presure to be used without deforming the blade
I feel like you've done a great job with this one by going nice and slow and giving them a chance no they're not perfect but like you said the point is it cut through the stuff that's cool as hell. Well done man
I have a great idea for you! Try using other types of materials as sawblades. Like plastic, wood, cloth, dried flex seal in the shape of a circle(since you love it so much), you get it list is endless but could be pretty interesting!!
I would like to say this was really amazing to see. I cannot believe it. Thank you for showing me something I didn't think I needed to see for science.😊😊😊Great job😊😊
I'm impressed that at the end you came up with about cutting foam. Or Styrofoam. It's been trouble since my uncle made surf boards. You know a hot wire is state of the art. Honestly, patent this. Many apps...(applications)
The circle maker is called a compass. Kids from my generstion actually learned how to use those. For best results keep it straight up. Leaning it over like he did males oblong circles.
You should have sharpened the blades and serrated them! Also try adding laquer or something to the outer edge of the blade.. Starts cutting the pencil. I was expecting a cut scene saying... Five hours later!
What if the paper blade had teeth like an actual saw blade? Would take some time to cut each tooth out but might help strengthen the paper during cutting.
I thought this too but after thinking longer about it I think it would just weaken the paper. It could work on the cardboard, but I don’t think the printer paper or the card stock would hold up.
Actually the cardboard blade has a practical use, cutting up cardboard. Scissors, knives, exacto knives, all get dull in a HURRY cutting cardboard. It's free, no worries with dulling, and it works.
Huh?. I've had the same pair of scissors for 25 years and they've never gone dull. I use them for everything, plastic, paper, even trimmed a rose bush with them recently.
Now we need a vid of a balsa wood blade vs balsa and hard wood and a hard wood blade vs itself and balsa ...please please please...ill throw out all my blades and make them myself from now on if it works lol
Now if you got a larger can and were able to make it stay flat... I'll bet that would make a pretty good blade. Alternatively, what if you use that thinnest paper again, but this time spread and let dry a thin layer of glue on each side to help stabilize it?
He's wearing safty glasses!!! He's wearing safety glasses!!! My perception of reality has been altered, I can't comprehend what I'm witnessing. Next he might actually read instructions, but let's not push it too fast. 😂
Looks like 20# text, 60 or 65# cover, and 110# card, from the way they move and sound. The cardstock WILL provide the best stability of the choices, given the thickness, but I would've used something in an Astrobright Cardstock, or a 100# coated sheet, as the dyes/coating provide more weight to the paper giving a better chance at a straighter "blade". The other thing I think I would've done is see if I could find a place with a paper CNC cutter for better circles. Or even one of those swivel blade cutters, the ones that can just do all manner of clean curves.
You know what would be amazing, you layering some paper and maybe mixing it with fiberglass or resin and under vacuum. I bet you could cut some real stuff with that. Or just layer paper with glue.
Pigs foot or a chicken wing would have been a good try. But seriously find an 8inch bowl and use and exacto knife around it to get a better circle. Or I think some of those tools do have a blade option to cut it better.
should try cutting pvc pipe, a 2x4 or other pieces of wood, maybe fabric since it be soft and flexible might be hard to cut with paper or cardboard, then maybe try some less likely stuff to cut like copper pipe or other metal objects that are a little bit thicker then a soda can
I am eating off of a paper plate right now. It would cut through your hand pretty easily. Try it out and give us a short clip of the results. I'd get both of the types. The expensive waxed plate might be a beast.
I think when you're cutting the pencil, the graphite is snapping. I think graphite is a lubricant at high speeds. The paper and cardboard couldn't cut. You had to remove the material around it and then because it was hot, it snapped
Can we all take a moment to notice that Tyler didn't show any preview to the video and ruin it like all of us fans asked him not to do anymore? My guy listens to his audience and I'm here for it!!
Finally 😂
His editor might have seen it too.
Yay!!!!!
Good for Tyler 😁🐉
Why would we? That was a silly, nonsensical "complaint" that should never be listened to.
I want to see paper cut through scissors. This would create a tear in the rock, paper, scissors continuum that will destroy us all.

I can see it now, Tyler goes to the emergency room with is finger in ice and telling the doctor it's just a paper cut, lol 😂
And he would be correct. It IS just a paper cut. ‘Tis’ but a flesh wound’

I have been working with table saws on a semi regular basis for over 15 years. I’m astounded, and now I have a new trick to show off at work
Honestly Tyler, you should try making a mini series where you make things saw "blades". I didn't know you had a table saw, buddy
Make a saw out of pencils 😂
Yes. Even try disks of different metals and alloys to see if they can outperform a regular saw blade.
I want to see a ham sawblade
