Nice video and rebuild A lot of those vehicles have tracked wheel replacements (places with lots of snow seem to use them), just bolt on normally on hub, could be worth looking into for the wetter half the year
Hi @williamwazere. Thanks for the comment. I'm sure the tracks would be useful, but we couldn't justify the expense, especially when the quad bike will do anything the Gator will and more. The only advantage the Gator has for us is that it's safer for kids to ride in ( and it keeps the rain off ).
I regularly get a call from the man next door for a pull out with his JD gatter I go with Kubota ecivalant and pull it out and prove it's shite in the wet bits by driving though the wet bit and not getting stuck 🤣
No problem. Thanks for watching. The front wheels on the John Deere are smaller than the rear wheels, so if you're on hard ground in 4 wheel drive the front diff winds up. That seems to be what causes the problem.

A rubber band holding those bearings in the plastic would help.
@bc2551 Good idea. Thanks for the comment.
Interesting. Thanks for sharing this. Very similar setup to the Polaris Ranger front final drive. Helpful to see! 👍
