Hey man. Just got this for my 24 Tundy TRD Pro and MAN...what a difference! Thanks for the recc.... Onto my question...with the throttle disable feature, would that still remain a command to the ECU if this unit is removed? Reason I ask is unfortunately here in San Diego, new Toyota truck theft is getting pretty insane out here. We are seeing Mexican Cartel steal them and cross the border back into Mexico. Once they cross the border it's pretty much a total loss. The idea behind the throttle lock out works great especially if the unit is hidden pretty well, but if a thief removes it and plugs back in the stock throttle harness will they be able to use the pedal again?
Great job on the video Jon! Thanks for making it. On my 4runner, I've always explained throttle enhancers as devices that add in the drive modes that every other car gets from the factory. Nice to see that they can even enhance vehicles that have those drive modes already.
My 2016 Taco had a hoooooorible dead pedal! I wish I'd found this years ago. Alas, I just traded it for a 24 Tundra and from the factory its pedal is perfect! You can't tell it's throttle by wire at all no mater what mode you're in.

@@BALLSOHARDU if you are talking about the shift power, pedal commander, and the Sprint booster(what I also call throttle enhancers), I think basically they're all the same, I just try to go with the one that has less problems if any. But what I like about the shift power is it has a lockout feature, but also there is a setting on it which I just found out that it can be set up to engage it after 10 mph.
