As I follow your progress, I felt that you are not only building the physical home but also a beautiful family together, which is a very pleasing sight.
Happy to see a couple this enthusiastic to do DIY project like a dream home. Very rare these days and both of you have great chemistry. You guys are great and have my support!!!!
I've been a carpenter/painter/roofer/plumber/sheetrock guy for almost 40 years and I have to say that y'all do everything top-notch to my standard! Keep up the Great work!
The best “i’m entertaining from behind” on UA-cam!! We are all happy! Love the channel, always happy to see a new post! One of the best parts of my day!
OMG, your excitement Erin is beaming thru the camera with them windows! Great job and I'm so excited for you. Still funny to see Josh on camera today compared to 6 or 7 months ago! Finally seems cool and relaxed and his come backs are improving!
A hunk, a hunk of burning love Erin. Josh look at her face in this video when Erin is imaging when the house will be finished. She had a perma-grin on, her smile was from ear to ear. Excellent video
You guys so ROCK! Erin you are entertaining from behind. Just saying. Big time RESPECT. Josh you are so very thorough in all you do. This is the best series of videos!!! "Mountaineers are always Free"
Thank you. The out takes at the end are to die for and your videos are great. You guys were made for each other. Kids are growing like weeds. I love to see how much your family is into alternative power. Keep up the great work. Love your videos.
I can't imagine nor would I want to life without the five of you.... well six counting the hunk of burning love who can say he has a perfect world. Looking forward to the whole series and before the last screw goes in people will rebel if there is not a following to this family.. So great to see you interact between the rehearsed lines that you practice before the video editing is done. Your family has a career in scripting!!
What a difference the windows make all coming together, kids enjoying them selfs, can't wait to see the wood burner, always funny pleasure to watch ❤️❤️
Always enjoy your videos. Well done, funny, you do make a good pair. I'm really happy to see your kids outside playing like kids all the time. I can't wait to see more progress. Good building and God bless you and your family.
Josh & Erin... it will be sooooo kool to see you get your house completely dried in !! WOW how awesome that will be. Loved your out takes at the end of the video... They were so funny keep banging away at the house build. take care till later.
Wow guys such beautiful scenery!!!The house is looking absolutely gorgeous and you guys are doing a great job!!!I wish you guys nothing but the best I hope you and your children are very happy and have absolute blissful joy and great memories living in the house you are building,God Bless.......
Love your channel. I can’t believe how brave you guys are taking on this kind job. WOW! I’ve just retired from a busy factory job and have started doing a bunch of DIY projects for the fun of it. Nothing like what you guys are doing. But it’s still quite a bit of fun. I’ve actually learned quite a bit about things around the house just by watching you guys. Great job and thanks!
I am a Proud Canadian that lives in the counrty side and I love the look of your house. I look forward to seeing the next stage of the build. Love watching you two. Cant wait to see whats next.
Best channel on UA-cam!! Josh has mad skills and Erin can hold her own with anybody!! I can’t wait to see ALL the windows in, so I’m sure you all can’t hardly wait either.
I loved the intro, the dark trim on the windows, the black cat & the ride along! Mountain view is spectacular! Entertaining.... from beginning to end! Ready for 'the moves to music' vid. Be happy, safe and have fun.
Always nice to see a young couple (Old gramps here...) with a good work ethic, capable of working together instead of the majority of relationships. When you two finish this home we may miss you unless you take on another project.
The boys with the slingshots, (nice hit by the way!), your daughter in the leaves, the dog prancing around, no electronics in sight and you two within earshot working away...ALREADY living life as it should be! Congratulations on the windows. Even though you couldn't pick up the window, bet you picked up more tape! Probably hard for such an active family to sit that long on the ride, but it is still family time.
I stumbled across this channel. I just spent the last couple days catching up on the whole journey. This is one of the most incredible things I've ever seen.
Your kids may not know it yet but they have it made. Playing in those woods and the creek. Oh to be a kid again. Congrats on the windows!! Its looking great
I see a lot of advice being given by fellow subscribers, I have only been building for 56 years, my advice to you is continue doing as you do--you're doing a fine job.
I Love the way you guys work together like a team. Your wife is like precious gold with a great helping attitude. I guess it is the reason why I like watching your videos because I too would love to do what your doing but I'm going to be 61 years old and lack the money to do it. I'm looking forward to when your house is done!!! I might send you guys a celabration gift if that's ok?
Посмотрел практически все видео от начала стройки. Молодцы! Особенно плюс жене, во всем помогает. О чем говорят, для меня конечно не понятно, но как говорится лучше один раз увидеть, чем сто раз услышать.
Watching you transition from warm to cold is fun. I live in Hawaii where cold is maybe 62F at my altitude. The mountain tops get crazy cold and icy. Thanks for sharing...
You guys are the best! I seriously cant wait to see the end result, you two have put so much work into your home and it shows. I pray you keep being blessed and loved by God because you have no idea how much happiness you put into other people's homes with your videos! I started watching yall than my kids and now my husband! We love your videos! God bless!
The windows look fantastic! Excited to see what it will look like with the other one in. As well as ya'll put the videos together, my favorite parts are the outtakes and bloopers!
You guys are awesome. I love seeing you work together to get the house done, and you're having fun doing it. I can't wait to see all the animal babies. Thank you for sharing your life story. Can't wait to see your finished dream home. West Virginia is so pretty. When I was younger we used to camp a lot for vacations. It was cheap. West Virginia was one of our favorite places to go. Enjoy the ride, haha Play nice Be safe. Thanks guys
Greetings y’all. Another fine video. Many thanks for demonstrating how measure correctly. Moi, I’ll keep practicing. Congrats on the windows. Erin’s smiled was priceless. It’s Thursday afternoon here, and I hope you all have a blessed and great day.
Looks amazing love it when a plan comes together! At the end of the day so nice to look back and see all that has been accomplished. A comment was made the other day that I liked as it relates to making goals or "To Do's". Take time to look back over the last year at the "To Dones" - Are you amazed at all that has been done and maybe surprised? Great Job!
Lollollollollollollollollol...Josh's face at 6:30 was priceless! You guys keep me laughing and entertained with your great homestead building vlogs. Keep up the great work!
Hey guys my wife and I are doing the same thing as you guys and are planning on moving into our home in about a month. And we must say its really cool to see other’s work through these problems I think we all are forced to go through lol. Keep it up. Your a solid family unit that seems to get lost these days.
You guys are great, I love how you work together and the banter back and forth... you’re doing great, keep up the good work and putting up the great content.
Erin u and Josh are so funny u make the work seem so easy, I know this is hard work, Thanks for sharing your work on ur off grid home. Say hi to ur Families. Yvonne from Houston 💯💯 💯 Percent.
Beautiful windows josh and Erin black on black going to look awesome you will be so glad when all of the exterior of the house is finish get the house all sealed up before the start of your long cold winter months ahead of you
Good progress! Keep going! Back in the 70s, when I was younger, my friend and I built a cedar A-Frame using a chainsaw, froe & mallet and a draw knife without access to electricity. It took us a long time, but it was built well. Today's technology would have been nice to have back then; solar panels, l.e.d. lighting, cordless tools. Makes me wish I was young again! lol
So great to see the progress you’re making, SJ is sat here getting all emotional, because we know how exciting it is to start putting the windows in. 👍
When you install the drywall please look into "stud adhesive". It will make the job quicker, easier, save at least 50% of the screws used and if it is going to be left as a plaster finish a lot less to apply mud to. I am from Australia and that is the normal way to install drywall here. Love your work though and find it very entertaining and educational considering we don't have the options for building products you have.
HI FROM AUSTRALIA. YES, I LIKE ALL YOUR VIDS. I ALWAYS LAUGH. USE MUST HAVE THE BEST RELATIONSHIP. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. LOOKING FORWARD TO MANY MORE.
What makes you, Josh, stand out...
Is that, not only are you thorough, but you also take time to explain your method. High five to you! ✋
Yes indeed he does,,, BUT Erin Has more bubble personality and has a wonderful smile. But Josh,, I am also a electrician and love your techniques.
✋
... yeah, and Josh doesn't take up half the video to do it, like the ramble-on in some other YT channels.
@@kbwerx So true! Good point.
I agree with you. But I have asked a few questions and never got a response back. I understand your extremely busy tho
Just love y’all’s dog and how precious you treat him. Speaks volumes about the love and compassion that is within the two of you.
The way Erin looks at Josh is so precious... what a lovely couple.😍
Winter is coming. I hope you get all the windows in. Love the channel.
As I follow your progress, I felt that you are not only building the physical home but also a beautiful family together, which is a very pleasing sight.

Tip: Get a hair dryer or heat gun and use it to warm up the adhesive/tape when its cold out
TIp 2: Don't melt it
Nice to see a couple that works and gets along so good.
I still believe your video’s are better than most commercial television programs!
