Custom seats because all our butts are not the same!!! I enjoyed your thorough review of the seat. The narrowing, tapering, etc is the kinda details we need when researching. And wow, a garage that looks as clean as my living room.
Thanks so much for watching and commenting. I really like the SDC by @saddlemen. It's a great improvement in my opinion over the stock seat. Ride safe 👊👍
I now have 5,000 plus miles on it and still great comfort and looks like new still. Thanks for watching. If you are a subscriber thank you very much. If you haven't yet subscribed, I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Ride safe and enjoy that new seat. 👊👍
Great looking seat! I recently put a solo CVO seat on my Street Glide Special, because I never ride two-up. Having said that, this one looks like it will provide great support, although I can’t afford to be closer to the bars given my height and arm length. ✌️🇦🇺
I am running the SDC. I really like it. Last I heard Saddlemen is quoting 6 to 8 week lead times. I recommend it if your riding one up. I would not recommend for 2 up. Ride safe 👊👍🇺🇸

I bought that seat for my Road Glide I like the seats very comfortable but the backrest is awful I forget about having a passenger cuz it's very uncomfortable for the passenger but overall I do like to see
Thanks Anthony for watching and commenting. It's definitely not a great seat for two up but if necessary it could be used as such. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. ✌️👊👍
Love the bike... all blacked out is the best😎👍🇱🇷. You really should change those bars... way too wide which doesn't let you sit back up straight and relaxed... Try the LA Choppers Hammerhead bars 12" or 14"... Your arms and shoulders will be in a lot better position while sitting more back up right relaxed position. 👍😎🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷
I have done two three hour rides with the seat only stopping for gas and it is very comfortable. It really didn't need to break in at all. So far I have about 1,000 miles using the seat and I'm very pleased with it. 👊✌
I will have another impression video coming out soon cover my thoughts on the seat over the first 1,000 miles of use. Stay tunes to the channel. Thanks
As a matter of fact I have a new video premiering tomorrow cover the seat as well as others. It releases at 4pm Centeal time. Thanks for watching and ride safe. If you are a subscriber thank you. If you haven't subscribed yet, I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. 👊👍🇺🇸
@@HDVIBE my lumbar is fused. I'm too lazy to switch multiple seats. I had that 1k airhawk 2up. It was a bust. I lost $400. After that I'll roll that hammock. Good ridin'
Always it's about what works best for each rider. That's the difficult part about seats. I have 2 stock, the hammock, an ultra take off, a danny gray custom and the Saddlemen SDC now. Thanks for watching and commenting. That's what brings more info to all viewers to help us all make better informed decisions on parts and accessories. Ride safe 👊👍
@@greghinchley6277 I had the saddlemen road sofa with backrest. Also a bust. 1500 miles and never broke in. Also felt like I was sliding in it the whole time. Lost about $500 on it. Still riding stock out of fear of hating another seat. However, being light in the ass and only about 5’9, I’m really considering this step up
@@detroitsurvivor4989 Same, bought a Danny Gray airhawk w/ backrest for $1200. Sold it for $800. Got turned on to the hammock with the backrest. Even after a lumbar fusion @ 6'2 that seat is great. Call some locals. You can test it before you buy.
Danggg look at all of those saddles, this man likes comfort and variety! Cant wait for more videos to come.

I bought it, about 75 Miles later, I can tell it's going to be a great seat, haven't tried the back rest yet. I would buy it again.

Nice assortment of seats! I'm getting my Harley Hammock seat recovered. I have a couple of tears in it after 50,000 miles.
Thanks for watching. I appreciate the support👍👊

Are you still rocking the seat? I’m in the market for that particular seat but everyone is sold out lol

Is the seating position in the pro(with backrest), the exact same as the one without the backrest ?
The back rest moves you forward and inch or so. On the back rest version, the back rest can also be fully removed. Thanks for watching. Ride safe. 👊👍

Yes the bars are bad. I may change them at some point. Thanks for watching and the suggestion.👍👊🇺🇸
now that you have had the seat for alittle while what do you think ? Would it be comfortable for a 3-4 hour ride ?

What type of Fairing do you have on your Motorcycle
On the Road King Special the windshield is the Harley Windsplitter. Thanks for watching and ride safe. 👍👊✌️
Any update a year later?

@@HDVIBE absolutely got notifications on so I won’t miss anything!
I have never been on a better seat than the hammock...
I have a hammock for long distance 2 up...it's also heated. From a looks perspective it's a bit bulky looking for everyday for my taste.
