Just replaced in my 2022 450 GLS main Burmester amp and all s...y speakers for mObridge pre amp, Audison 12 channel amp and Audison speakers.Got rid off front center and added 2x 12' subs and now sound is incredible.
I have this same setup in my 24 GLE 63s and it is so hard to get the right sound out of this system. I agree with your thoughts, the mids seem to be screaming at you in what ever settings and the highs are not smooth or pristine even for a mid level system. All in all, it is not bad for a mid level setup. The bass is pretty good for the size and location of the woofers. It is not a system that I could listen to for hours at moderate levels but it is not bad. Especially since the highest end system was not available on any GLE trim at the time of my purchase., I don’t know if it is now. In my opinion, a 9 band EQ would help a great deal with this system.

How would you say it compares with a Tesla model 3 14 speaker system I have a Tesla and now getting a gls soon with base burmester sound system. I really like teslas system and hoping that this would be better than that, an Insight would be useful thanks 🙏

Personally I hate the bass in mine. I find the mids to be pretty good but too powerful compared to the bass
