I've had this dryer 25 year now. Works great. Repairman showed me to remove the front panel and clean out the lint every once in a while, but I couldnt' remember how to get that front panel off. Thank you! Mission accomplished.

I'm watching this again because the dryer is overheating and I forgot all the twists and turns on taking things apart. This is the best video on the internet. I hope there are others like it. I need to check once I get my dryer working again. What a life saver.

Thanks Ken...I needed the refresher....Worked on many, semi retired now, HVAC by trade and Appliances....Did the coin ops for years too....Apartment basements, dorms, other locations...Almost identical, except they eat money....I remember the buy out and when they first mingled the Kenmore/Whirlpool dryer with the Maytag....I hated it....The washers needed improvement, I'll admit, the dryers, especially the WP, should have been left alone...In my opinion the best that ever was, but they just had to screw with it....I have worked them all, The older WP/KM, still my favorite, GE, Hotpoint, Ropers, Speed Queen, (a tank), the old Norge, remember them, what a pain....WP/KM is still easiest to service, saves the customer bucks on the time and still a money maker for the service co. and/or man, and/or woman doing the job....Have to be inclusive now a days....Just more crap, being politically correct....It's SERVICE MAN, NOT SERVICE LADY.....lol...Thanks again for the video, doing one later today and I think it's the KM Elite.

Thank you for the video, it helped me diagnose and fix my dryer problem. I put a too heavy Costco Detergent tub on top of my dryer, it bent the top down without me knowing, that created friction with drum, therefore it would not turn. After watching your video I could take it apart and diagnose this is what had happened, thank you. The manufactures should put a sticker on these dryers not to put heavy things on top of them.
