Thank you for your knowledge, Dave.
Newer subscriber here Dave. Love the breakdowns on these cars. Super car nerd Steve mentioned you and I'm happy to
be watching your vids as well.
Awesome thank you!
The Dash looks like it was refinished with Rattle Cans !! Same with the Vin# Tag. The Entire Dash should have been sent to Just Dashes 😊 Their Work is the Best in The Industry ❤
Mr Wise, I love your videos and I'm learning so much from them, I really appreciate your research and how you are taking these details to the next level... but can I dare ask you for a quick walkthrough around whole car and maybe even start it????
I appreciate that
Better have a very healthy check book for that one-
So many people say 68s don’t have stamped motors I just walk away and smh. I been finding them right by the oil pressure sensor since 1989. now that you did this video I should hear it less 😂
Looks like a double pully altanator is that right also carb mounting studs I thought they usd bolts with the h on top
Back when these were new, I don't remember that many red RR's, let alone red HEMI RR's, at least in the PNW.
NOT an expert, but I've worked on a lot of Mopars from that era, and I don't recall carbs mounted with studs, washers and nuts. I believe most mopar carbs were just bolted on, no washers. And of course, few mopars had paint that shiny under the hood. Not that I wouldn't try to paint it shiny if I were to respray it.
You forgot to show us the car.
Dave get a hold to tom at rocket restorations he just came into a 68 that is stupid rare. Bare bones radio delete. Red with silver interior. Mostly complete even though it was raced from day one.
I forgot to ask how much this is going for
I won't be happy until someone installs the correct purple, "Beep Beep" Roadrunner horn! 😡
It is correct. The first year road runner horns were black. After 68 they were purple.
@@davidlane9138 I had a few 383, 4-speed Roadrunners back in the 70's and 80's, only all were 69's and had purple horns!.. Didn't know that about the 68 horn!
