I only came across this a few months ago and as an English man was unaware of luke kelly. How naive, it gives me goosebumps every time I hear it. He had the greatest male singing voice in the world there is so much character in it. I've loved Irish music since my mother played The Dubliners for me back in (I guess) 1996. Visited Dublin a few month ago and was overwhelmed by the atmosphere. Everyone was kind and seemed to enjoy life. Can't wait to go back to this beautiful country and maybe live there some day.
