Oh Allison - you are just the ‘BOMB’ of this type of medium sweet lady...!!! I caught one of your videos about a month ago and have been hooked ever since!! I finally got all my products in to make the earrings and pendant set with the interference paints. And was going to start it today when I saw your new video and I LOVE it!! Just ordered the magnetic uv gel polish and the magnetic tools (those look so awesome and I can visualize the many possibilities for those...!!). So I was so excited that I’m writing this to you in the middle of your vid...!! You are a wonderful artist!! I have been making jewelry for about 4 years when I found resin and now I’m hooked!! I have about a zillion ideas rolling around in my head for pendants that I can make myself and turn into exquisite bracelets and necklaces and the designs will be unique and all mine AND all because of finding YOU!! If I use any of your patterns I will most definitely post you as the original artist because you my dear friend have earned it!! All the time, materials, expense and talent you put into sharing all of this with us - not to mention the filming and editing you have to do is just terrific!! So yes you will get the credit!! But thank you so much for sharing your talents - you are one of my true inspirationalist and I can hardly wait to get started!! Thank you again...!!!🤗🙏😍🙏🥰
Susan Chamblee WOW! I have no words Susan. You have truly touched my heart and soul with your words. Thank you sooooo very much. 💜 I greatly appreciate you 🤗🤗
Ok. So I ordered al the stuff in. I tried it. And the key is that one should practice, practice, practice. This is a rabbit hole. And I am boots and all in it. I am so grateful that you think outside the box (and into the rabbit hole!)
Super cool effects! I didn't even know this existed!! Thank you so much for sharing this video. My head is full of ideas now for how else I can use this technique!! Yay!! 🥰
WOW! Everytime I think you have reached the top of your creative level, you exceed it! I never get tired of watching your videos. Thank you for the inspiration! I am waiting for my "She Shed" to be finished with the electrical and plumbing work and then I am going to move all my crafting/sewing stuff into it. I am afraid I may need to build an extension now! Every time I watch one of your videos, I go shopping for more stuff. So much fun, so little time...
Thank you so much for showing us the cat’s eye effect! I have wondered of this would work on clay and now I know! The flowers are very nice, but spirals are my favorite shape ever. I might have been able to live for a few weeks without trying this effect, but once I saw the spiral, it was all over for me! I’m off to order supplies! I really appreciate the time and effort you put into your clay creations so you can bring us these wonderful videos. Thank you!
They are all stunning. I love the magic of these magnet and I do not understand how they work can you use any magnet or they are special ones. May be the nail varnish that help for the magic to happen. All I can say done . You are a genius to discover all these
I love your videos you take your time so it's easy to take in from a viewers perspective. You explain exactly how to do this. Also your pieces of jewellry are outstanding.
I don't think the magnet repells the polish, on the contrary, the magnet draws ferromagnetic powder (shining) to the surface so it concentrates where the magnet goes making those flowers or spiral lines. Or maybe (depending on polarisation) the magnet repells the ferromagnetic particles from the polish where the magnet goes and pushes it further away. Either way the effect is very unique
Sooooooo pretty, I will have to order these items of polish. Thanks so much for sharing. I talked to you the other day about what kind of resin to buy. I bought the one you recommended. It will be here on Thursday. So excited about getting it and my new UV lamp. Thanks so much for helping me. 😁❤️
I came across your channel on an amazon review you did on a magnetic gel polish I was looking at, and it’s fascinating what you do with it! It definitely makes me want to “Think Outside The Box” and try my nail art stuff with other mediums too! I also was wondering if there’s a magnetic gel brand you’d recommend for the best price and the best color payoff? I’ve been looking forever before I buy any but most reviews and photos aren’t consistent, although I’m saving the one you reviewed because so far it looks the most promising.
Just Beautiful‼️💜💖💟💙✨another Tutorial with my Favorite color: Purple, & then Pink, & Blue. 🥰 This’s such a Cool idea✨. Never thought of using the nail 9-D polish type, so Great job. They all Came out Awesome! 👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Omg! You are so great! I can follow you step by step very well, despite of my bad english 🙈 This is really a nice technique! I will try it as soon as possibile! Please never stop creating video tutorial! 😘
WOW! I looked at the room and my thought was, "That is her new studio!" before you even said it. LOL I was wondering. You said that the Born Pretty Top Coat shouldn't be used as the final coat because of durability. I was curious as to why even use it and not just use the UV resin or 2 part epoxy resins? Love the new look of your studio and another great tutorial! I'm going to be looking into these color shifting colors!
Kaycy Ruffer Thank you Kaycy 💜 I used the uv top coat in these mainly because I needed to protect the one side so I could do the other. When I add coats of UVResin, I tend to lay it on pretty thick and it starts to dome. I wanted it to stay flat and even for the moment 😊
Hey, if Allison is taking house guest requests, I will move in right NOW! I would never come out of her studio! I would hibernate there until all the craft stuff was used up...maybe a couple of hundred years or so?
TFS your lovely work with us. I am new to this LED UV light things. Does it matter if it is a 36W or a 54W or a 72W? Do they all work the same? Reason is that your recommended UV lamp does not get shipped to New Zealand
Another Amazing technique. Yet another very clever idea. These pieces are gorgeous. Just when we thought you couldn't get any better. Love this so much 🤗😊 Can you skip the clear nail top coat and use uv resin instead? Thank you for such a beautiful idea. The magnetic effect is fascinating to watch 😀
OMG.. Allison, I swear you must have ESP. I just bought some of this online and it's supposed to be here tomorrow. Never used the magnet before so you gave me some good ideas. But not just this one.. a while back I had just bought the dragonfly glaze when you did a tutorial on that one. And on and on and on. LOL thanks for all your tips and keep up the good work. Oh and by the way, that no wipe top coat is the best thing since UV resin!! Love to use it between steps.
I see a whole bunch of 9D polishes in different colors on Amazon. Do we have to use the brand you used or will those other brands that have more color selections work as well? This tutorial is so cool!!!
Hi Allison I have been following you for awhile and I truly love your experiments. You definitely live p to your name lol. Its nice to see that there are other people out there that who view the world in a very different and unique way. I was just wondering where you got that cool magnetic tool you used?
Beautiful! I've played with the cat's eye polish and it awesome. But I have a general question for you. How are you going to finish those earrings? I can't drill into uv resin without ruining it.
@@ThinkingOutsideTheBox ooohhhh, omg, thank you so much, you just saved so many pieces for me. People kept saying they drilled holes in theirs with no problem and I use a pin vice! Thank you thank you, you made my day!
I looked for the Born Pretty no wipe clear top coat on Amazon but couldn't find it. Found all types of Bron Pretty products though. You do have Beetles gel no wipe top coat - shine finish listed. Will that work just as well as the Born Pretty brand? (I'm working on my Amazon 'wish list'. LOL ) NVM. I listened to the video after showing the Born Free bottle and got my answer!
Love your videos! However, I have a question. Can you drill though the resin, or is it possible to drill either before or after baking and before applying the resin? Thanks very much!
Janet Rempel You can but only brush on a light coat for the first step. I use the uv top coat first because uv resin if not very thinly brushed on will dome. This was done to protect the 9D polish while working on the other side 😊
Knittinone Kim Sterling you definitely need to bake the clay first. The cats eye effect still should have worked tho. Did you check to make sure the thing your using to make the flowers are actually magnets? Also, you make the flower design before you cure the cats eye uv polish.
Juanita McCaslin UV Gel polish has a unique formula that really needs to be shaken before each use. If you shake your gel polish before you use it, you will have an easier and more even application, especially with colors and uv gel polish that has glitters and special effects 😊
Certainly an interesting idea BUT.. AGAIN..."go to anohter video to see how to finish it!" In the Computer world this is called CLICK BAIT! Ridiculous.
Not click bait at all. I don’t bog my tutorials down with the same technique OVER AND OVER thus, I have a separate one to see how I uv resin my pieces. This is the ONLY video I reference to. I’m sure you would understand better if you produced hundreds of tutorials, FREE tutorials.

You are amazing at explaining everything step by step! Your pieces are beautiful, can't wait to dabble in this technique.

Do you take the tile out of the oven to cool or do you shut the oven off and have the tile cool gradually inside the oven
Do you have to do resin over the top of this? Can’t you leave it with just the clear uv top coat?

Sorry I did not see a link for the Born free polish top coat, just the Beetles top coat, is the beetles the wrong one?
I cant wait to start experimenting with these nail polishes. Do they have a strong smell?

You can drill before or after. After just makes it easier to dome the resin
@@ThinkingOutsideTheBox Thank you! Are there any special precautions one should take when drilling to avoid damaging the resin?

What are those little pin like, silver things called?
