BEAUTIFUL! As is all your work! THANK YOU for sharing your precious time, talent, knowledge, & skills with us all! Would LOVE to see how you would make beads, using this! The beads next to skin on a necklace, would be GORGEOUS! Sending you Hugs &🙏🏻
So pretty! The paste looks easier to work with than liquid clay for things like this, so I had to order! Seems with each of your videos, I have buying urges😂🤣😆
Wow Alison another fantastic idea, beautiful and easy. You are amazingly talented and definitely Think out of the Box! God bless and hopefully your family is doing well.
This has been so much fun to watch and I am very excited about trying it all out. I am far too exhausted now but I shall be giving you a try tomorrow. I must look into the hallow mylar it flakes.
Thanks Alison as usual an inspiring video- I was using the mood magic on polymer clay earlier in the year and while it looked good at first I find my pieces now have lost their magic and I was interested to hear your comments about the heat of the UV curing killing the effect - so I am on the look out for the brush on resin here in the UK and will try again !
I got very excited when I watched your video. Seems I’m 10 months late. Tried to buy the Mood Magic from FTH supplies with no luck. Any suggestions where else I can find it. I’m anxious to create with my granddaughter.
Hey Alison! This is great! May I ask, where are you? I'm watching your videos again and still loving them!! I miss you tho, hoping that all is ok with you! Looking forward to seeing you soon! Pam 💜💜🙋🎶
I have been binge watching your channel and I love what you do, thanks for sharing! I would have commented earlier however I am not able to do so on my tv.
I recently discovered Thinking Outside The Box, I love it all !!! I have not finished them all yet, however I intend to! Everything is so beautiful, and amazing! Alison is so creative !! I recently tried joining the face book group and it has been pending for a while now. Is Alison on a hiatus? I also noticed the last video here on UA-cam that I can find is dated Dec. 4, 2020. I am looking forward to watching the rest of her videos here on UA-cam and hoping for more in the future!
Super pretty! :D 💜 I love small boxes like this, so handy to through in your handbag, different colors for different meds ;D or be used for trinkets :) 💜
You sure can however the Brush UV Resin is easier to use on non flat objects :) If you use 2 part resin, allow the Mood Magic to dry for at least 24 hours.
Hello, dear. I'm having a problem with my UV resin discoloring under the UV lamp. It doesn't do it all the time though. Do you think it has to do with using liquid pigments to color it? I did raise my lamp up to keep it farther away from the piece but it didn't work. Any suggestions? Anyway, thanks for all the beautiful videos. Hope you have a great day and thanks in advance.
Hi. Does anyone know if Alison is ok? I just discovered her awesome tutorials and I see there has been no videos in the past 11 months. Hope she's ok, if you know what's going on and if she will be back, let me know. Thanks.
Great project tute, thank you. Wouldn't it make more sense to make the stamped lid medallion FIRST, bake it & sand it if desired, and THEN attach to the raw clay lid & bake? That way there is no chance of distorting or damaging the medallion.
QUESTION.... y does the uv kill the effect of the tan stuff? We use that n nails n the led/uv lamp I use doesn't affect mine. But I think mine looks like it might b a but thicker
It’s not the uv light that does it, it’s the uv resin that heats up. When uv resin cures, it gets extremely hot. When it gets that hot that it can ruin the mood liquid.
@@stefaniemoses1768 Hi Stephanie 😊 I am here and doing ok 💜 I will be back the beginning of the year with new tutorials. Thank you for thinking of me 💜💜
The best glaze for polymer clay is water based Varathane. It comes in gloss, satin and matte and can be purchased at most hardware stores. If you are doing the mood ring effect, glaze will not work. You must use the uv finish that I show in this video. Link to purchase in the description below the vid.
Putting it in the freezer would only freeze it, not help it dry. If you apply in thin layers, it dries fairly quickly. If you would like to speed up the drying of the mood magic, you can also place in front of a fan or a source of air that is not heated.
I came on just to see if there was an answer to this question. I hope you're well, Alison. UA-cam isn't as much fun without you. I've been saving up to buy a bunch of polymer supplies so that I could make a bunch of your projects, and I'm finally ready. I hope we see you again soon, and that you and yours are all well.
Wow, love, love, love this.
Oh my! The fun to be had using this stuff! Thanks Alison for a wonderful tutorial!
Thanks Jen! 💜
So pretty! I need a set of circle cutters with that many circles!
Such a wonderful product and use for it. Thank you Rhonda and Alison.
I just now saw this...looks so beautiful and and amazing to watch it change colors!

That was a great tutorial. Thank you
Love your work. But mainly I love that you explain in detail the reasons behind why you're using certain things.
Thank you Lucy 💜

That's awesome!
Thank you 😊
where can i find the From the Heart UV resin
Could you use regular resin and not uv resin on the mood paint?
You sure can however the Brush UV Resin is easier to use on non flat objects :)
If you use 2 part resin, allow the Mood Magic to dry for at least 24 hours.

im sad i cant find the resin you used online anywhere, is there another resin that will work for this?

That was about the time that Rhonda went outta business I’m sure she ok but I haven’t seen her even on bc in hot min
I've been wondering too

Thanks Jan 😊 You can certainly do that too if you wish.
I tried looking for the mood changing stuff with the link and I can't find any.
Every time i click on the link it says 404 page not found. Id love to order. Do you know how else i can get to the site. Ty its very beautiful
I still have my mood beads.

@@ThinkingOutsideTheBox right.. . So the uv gel must not get as hot then. U should see the thermocromatic paint in a set of nails. It's totally wild
You are there. Thank goodness ❤️ Can you let us all now you are okay and still alive Alison... Hugz x

I am unable to find the mood magic on their website
I am having trouble with glazes. They are sticking together and ruining my beads. Any thoughts?

Did all this, but after putting resin on it won't change. Any ideas?
Will it work with other color clays or is black poly clay recommended?
I probably should have mentioned, it works best on black.
can you put it in the freezer to help it dry?
Putting it in the freezer would only freeze it, not help it dry. If you apply in thin layers, it dries fairly quickly. If you would like to speed up the drying of the mood magic, you can also place in front of a fan or a source of air that is not heated.
Great video but why is your wooden box not covered in clay? Lol.
Thank you. What wooden box? I used a metal tin and did cover with clay 😊
@@ThinkingOutsideTheBox the box you have your mica powders in I think.
I found the site for the resin, but not for the mood magic
Song I want
Are you ok no viseos for along time
Hi Jeannie 😊 Thank you for your comment. I’m okay. Just taking some time off to spend with my elderly mother and to recharge. I will be back soon 💜💜

Stash?
Hahaha, some may want to use it for that.
Perfect size for small beads and crystals with a nice screw on top
@@ThinkingOutsideTheBox Of course.
I miss u. Are u ok hun
Can you use varathane to seal it?
Varathane will not work correctly.
@@ThinkingOutsideTheBox Darn, lol, I have that. But I put my order in! Lol
@@debbiegaines1362 if you get the brush on UV Resin, you can cure in the sun too for 10-15 minutes 😊
