I really like this format of video in which you are giving your initial impressions with Manu right after playing it rather than on a audio podcast. It was great seeing you as well!
Yeah, the price is a tough one for me too. They don’t seem to be coming down in price anytime soon. So it’s just a game I gotta save up a bit more to make the purchase. 😅 Until then I’ll be playing on location 🤓
I loved what JJP did with all of you guys flying you out there. I would have loved to fly out from europe to see all that. For a split second i was thinking about selling my GNR for this game but i will not let that game go for any game i think.
I didn't know you. I found you while looking for new videos talking about the JJP Avatar because I pre-ordered the Collectors edition. you reassure me I think I made a good purchase. Thank you for your video, I liked your publication and I will follow your next adventure in the field of Pinball. Thank you for what you do 🙏 thank you for existing🙏
This was good info. I can’t wait to play it. UV effect sounds like the old tron arcade. So I worked on many locations machines. JJPs are nice to work on. But I am gonna echo same thing many others have. It cost to much to make a profit. Great Video
I don’t yet own an arcade or operate games, so I can’t speak for this entirely true. But at least for the first few months and as a great touchstone theme I think it could do well. Once it’s on location I guess we’ll find out 😊 Thanks for watching!
I thought to mention it in the beginning, but then I realize people might focus a bit too much on it then haha so I left it for the end. Thanks for the watch!
JJP has finally shown what 12k can look like, now does it make me wanna spend that much? Still a big no from me, but the more I see the way they use their games software/code, lights, LCD etc it makes Spike 2 seem EXTERMELY outdated. Has me wondering if the bad code/un-fun modes/lights coming from Stern is starting to be a software limitation now. If you have played EJ or Avatar from JJP or Scooby-Doo, TCM or Looney Tunes from Spooky I think you see their systems seem far ahead of Stern now.
You bring up some good points. I think for me to get a JJP I’d need an aftermarket pin. But I know the prices still hold pretty well. Glad to see everyone raising the bar tho! Pinball has come a long way.
JJP games are way too expensive, period and don't even include all the functions/features that modern pinball should have (where is the connected pinball experience?). They can look amazing but they-re the pinball equivalent of what Apple did with the Vision Pro. Look how that went over for them. These won't earn well on location. My friend in the business for 20+ years doesn't buy JJP to put on location because "they take too long to earn back" -- this is purely a collector's/home play. It's too bad you guys didn't discuss the total lack of connected features, another totally weak aspect from JJP. They paid your way out there to shill their stuff for them. Congrats.
Hey Todd, Thanks for your feedback. Being these were initial thoughts, some of the points you brought up do make sense. I’ll be sure to add the connected side of things on the next one. I did ask the team if that’s something we will see from them and they just said to stay tuned. So highly likely they will have some sort of connected feature in the future. Thanks again for your feedback 🙏
@@erikaspinballjourney Go look at the history, Erika. They *had* connected feature with Scorbitron and got rid of it quite some time ago. Maybe this will come someday, I don't know, but no faith in their promises after they took away this previously held connected integration. Do your research on the subject, you'll see what I'm saying is 100% accurate.
@@ToddRussellTV Yeah, it's a weird call for them to get rid of Scorbit. I guess what they are working on they hope will be better somehow. It is a shame since I know the guys at Scorbit have been working on some amazing features. I guess we will just have to wait and see. 🤷♀

Thank you! Yeah I’m a very visual person so I enjoy this format as well 😊
And yeah great seeing you at Enterrium! I’ll see you soon at Expo!
The trouble with JJP $12k and $15k price tag
Yeah, the price is a tough one for me too. They don’t seem to be coming down in price anytime soon. So it’s just a game I gotta save up a bit more to make the purchase. 😅 Until then I’ll be playing on location 🤓

Yeah it was awesome! Glad you love your GNR 😊 we all have a game bolted for us 🤓
My Lord of the Rings is that game!

Once you get your game I’m sure you’ll love it! It has a lot to offer and looks amazing 🤩 congrats on your purchase 🙌
Happy to hear the flippers shoot like Elton Johns which in my experience has been the best JJP game to date.
Yeah! They feel great 😄🤘not as fast and flowy as Elton, but still a fun game with great shots.

Great content-keep it up!
Wow thank you 🙏 I’ll keep trying 😊
The pinball community could really use more people like Erika.
Oh my gosh thank you for your kind words 🥹🙏
Wait, the next pinball table is MST3K themed? Fantastic!
Haha I wish! But Manu does provide great content 😊
I was going to comment that you need to adjust your mic, but it makes sense that it wasn't even on! lol
