    Kenny, I've seen you interview a lot of people. And I've seen Danica interviewed a lot of times. But your interview was far and away the best, most open, objective and enjoyable interview (discussion) between two people I've seen yet. Congratulations to you both. Danica for her open, honest spirit and you for your thoughtful, deep and revealing questions. I learned a lot about both of you. Keep up the good work.

    Hey Kenny am an avid female racer fan. I remember watching her at Martinsville when towards the end of the race she was faster than anyone else drove up to fifth passing on the outside and was taking 4th from Hamlin and he took her out. He cost her a win that day I believe. Great Interview 😊👍😎

    I went to Best Buy for a meet and greet years ago and just fell in love with her. She had shorts and flip flops and was like a regular person, zero pretense. Afterward, she asked us about a lunch place and hopped in her rental car and drove away with her sister. Just a humble sweet girl and her sister, too.

    Another great interview Kenny. I was an avid NASCAR fan when Danica came on the scene and I witnessed the shit she was handed on the track pretty much on a weekly basis, and I'd be yelling at my tv telling her to catch them and take them out !! The other thing I thought sucked was most every interviewer would ask the same stupid question---" what's it like to be a female in NASCAR" !! Plus I always felt all the attention was a distraction to her when she really needed to be focusing on honing her skill instead of talking about stupid shit. And just to finish---I think Danica is gorgeous--a natural beauty, and personally I think she's moreso now than before !!!

      I couldn’t agree more with you. She is a very beautiful, successful, take-life-by-the-horns type of person. This was a great interview and I learned a lot about who she is as a non-racer. Mad respect for her. And… on a more ‘organic’ note… I’m pretty sure she would eat a handful of shrooms once in a while and debate reality with you. My kind of lady 😂

    Our family started in open wheel racing in 1955 and still going. My two oldest sisters started racing Karts and quarter midgets in 1955 so, I grew up in a family of girls in racing. I’ve always supported women in racing. And for me, that’s just one reason why I support Danika Patrick in anything she wants to race.

    It’s a very bold statement for Danica to say a lot of people (and drivers) texted her when she made the comments about MTJ and Sherry Pollex several months ago on her Instagram…stating that she was right and they all felt the same way…but then refuses to mention names. If you can’t mention names, you should probably just keep your lips zipped because it’s all just hearsay at that point. Was she involved in their relationship? Does she know everything that was said, done, etc? She should just mind her own business.

    • @joshuaduff7439
      @joshuaduff7439 3 місяці тому +4

      I agree Danica should have kept her mouth shut regarding Sherry Pollex. She lost my respect when she is saying all this nasty stuff about MTJ when she knows nothing about what really happened.

    • @C3rb3ruS_88
      @C3rb3ruS_88 2 місяці тому

      It's not a bold statement. Either you believe her words or not, and I have the feeling you would never believe whatever she says because it's just the way you see her. Besides, it looks like she obviously knows more on the subject than most others, so it's bold for you as well to doubt her. Not mentioning names it's something almost everyone would do in her place, it's just a common thing to do in these cases, it doesn't mean it's not true. Like I said, she doesn't have to give anybody any proof, you either believe her or not.

    So true Danica is so much fun to hang out with!!! I remember hanging out after the race with her, Bobby Rahal, my sister(Martina) and Michelle Jordain after his win at Milwaukee. (Danica had a great race in the Indy light car) We took over the bar at the Hilton that night. I remember Danica trying to explain to the bartender in her sarcastic sense of humor how to make the drink. He didn’t get it. She jumps behind the bar and makes us a drink. What a classic night too much fun.

    I agree, I'm a happy person, I'm multi-talented, and love helping people. I'm 77, did drag racing, engine building, water & snow skiing, carpentry, restoring everything from old houses to old cars. But I like being in a happy mood when I'm working or helping others. That's why Clint Boyer is my favorite happy guy in Nascar. Watched Kenny in the 70's, like at Valley Park, and was pit crew for a buddy at Bellclair Raceway (only Kenny will probably know) - but loved this conversation.

    Danica was a ferocious competitor and athlete. A racer should never be labeled (gender) as anything other than a race car driver. She did very well for herself and should be proud of her accomplishments. Shes a spot on rock star in my book. Much respect!

      She was given good equipment to drive, she had little talent to wheel the cars. She consistently ran 20th to 30th. All she brought to Nascar was her ability to cause cautions to bunch up the field for restarts.

Dropped out, later got a GED, then went to the university at nights, where he met his wife. She always bitched, she got C's, he got straight A's and hardly opened a book. As a central Illinois boy, I agree, some subjects I've never used. Graduated 🎓 from trade school, at 50 Graduated from college, and at 70 just finished a geology course. I see so many bad opinions about Danica but although she did some not so good things, she put her heart and soul into it. In the end I have so much respect for her I have no other words. She is one tough woman! I wish her nothing but happiness in life. She will be in the hearts of NASCAR fans forever.

    I never was a Danica fan to the extreme of never having anything good to say about her. My reasoning for this was I thought she was constantly playing the female card and she's simply PR thing for advertisers and not competitive. Thanx to this interview I've done a 180 turn in my thinking. Thank you

    Kenny I like your personality . I had drivers ,drive for me back in the years. Some were a pain .But, you have the personality that if there is a issue you make the best of the situation.

    Not to many people can drive Indy and do good. What i seen with Danica in Nascar racing a lot of drivers with egos taking her out
    not all the time but many. She is one of the most talented woman driver ever.

      How many Indy and F1 drivers have come into NASCAR and failed. She's not the only one. I still laugh. Look at Kimi Raikkonen, F1 Champ, hardly did anything
