I got this game and a psp for the Christmas a few months after it was released and it blew me away that this was possible on a handheld. How far we've come.
The android version came out later than ps2, lol, and everything is fine with the characters, just the fps is low, so it seems that everything is twitchy.

I've only played on the psp ver but for me PS2 wins on this one android felt abit too off for me or maybe it was the graphics settings ps2 felt like an upgraded ver of the psp as it had most of the psp looks but better tbh
Can't say the same for interiors on PS2 compared to PSP. PSP had shading and proper lightning going on, meanwhile the PS2 ditched the lightning techniques and sticked with the filter to do all the effects, leaving the visuals to look bland and washed out.
I prefer the PSP version. The purple color really fits well. PS2 version uses classic GTA III weather and colors. It's cool too but PSP version looks more... Unique. Android version looks like shit to be honest.

A game made for PSP but the iOS version I tried is perfect, really good scalling, graphics and framerate. They nailed it with LCS. If only SA or VC were done like that. The PS2 version on the other hand was a bad PSP port. I remember it freezing and constant frame drops.
PSP is the best version imo, no exaggerated weather effects and extra sharp imagery exposing flaws, also if you and your freinds have a psp with a copy of this game, you can all connect to each others psps and play multiplayer up to 6 players, this isn't like your san andreas mutiplayer, it's legit multiplayer like gtaiv/v online, with different game modes and costume changes, the psp version is definitely a unique version on its own.
The thing is, obviously with the clearly better textures, the android version is the best. But just because you can doesn't mean you should. The textures are so much more detailed... yet on the same basic geometry that's been unchanged. It's pretty, but feels a little weird.

I love ps2 versions of GTAs. So I play 5 gta games on ps2 emulator. On my android. Thanks to AetherSX2 emulator. Graphics are not that bad. Android version has better textures, better atmosphere, full screen support. But I really like 4:3 display resolution. But you can change screen resolution to 16:9.

Gta Sa for example has a mod for 60 Fps that can remove this lag, depending on the cell phone it's not because of the settings (I say this because my cell phone is good, and I can tell you that these lags are kind of impossible to get rid of completely)

That's because he was screen recording and it was only capturing the audio from the speakers

Ps2 gives you Mafia and Liberty City ambiance or atmospher

Android is better because the graphics and lighting is good and character remake
Record android version with internal audio and PSP with 1:1 resolution.
