Her album 'White Lilies Island' is superb. 'Beauty on the Fire', 'Goodbye', 'Wrong Impression', 'Come September', 'Butterflies'. I listen to it regularly
The house it's named after is on the river on White lilies island. Mu friend lived their prior to her it had an indoor swimming pool under a bubble. A Spanish style new built villa
And my minds working overtime While all my friends in school And the thing that wakes me when I could sleep instead Is that thought tonight I could fall back in to bed Wow Imagine e that's about a child dreading her father coming up at night touching her up Shane on you
What a sweet person! I love the English accent in the mix when she speaks too. Didn’t expect that after knowing her from Neighbours. I wish her all the best!
She is far more talented than she is given credit for. She is a criminally under-rated vocalist (saw her open for Simply Red in 2015 and she was fantastic). Furthermore, the mainstream narrative that repeatedly reduces her legacy to "Torn" is old and wildly inaccurate. Songs such as "Lukas", "Standing there", and "Wrong Impression" are her true highlights.
Its mad how you can relate to this song i remember crying my eyes out to this song in 2014 when i was 21 older people at the time where like how can you relate to this emotion its timeless and speaks to everyone
chronology of the song: (from wikipedia) 1991 - Ednaswap originally composed and performed it live, but did not initially release a recording 1993 - The first release recording of the song by the Danish singer Lis Sørensen and It became a hit in Denmark 1995 - Ednaswap released a recorded version of the song. The band later released several variations and remixes of the song as B-sides and on their album Wacko Magneto. 1996 - American-Norwegian singer Trine Rein released a version of the song on her second album, Beneath My Skin (1996) 1997 - Australian singer and actress Natalie Imbruglia covered the song for her debut studio album, Left of the Middle (1997) and became a global hits sold over four million copies worldwide 2005 - Brazilian girl group Rouge recorded a Portuguese version of the song 2010 - British-Irish boyband One Direction sang an acoustic version of "Torn" for their first performance as a group on The X Factor 2018 - Welsh pop punk band Neck Deep covered the song, with an accompanying music video that parodies Natalie Imbruglia's 1997 video. hopes this help you to know a history of this iconic song
The music video for "Wild About It" (2009) is my favorite by Natalie!!! That song almost reminds me of Shania Twain's 1998 song "Man I Feel Like A Woman" (which Natalie goes "whoa oh oh")!!
I look forward to her next studio album. The 5 albums that she has written are Pop gems. Her fans should have more presence in these types of videos. I always see Brits complaining about "Torn" and Australians getting angry about her accent 🙈
I don’t know about you, but I cannot imagine Natalie’s special guest appearance in one episode of Doctor Who (Ncuti Gatwa) after Kylie, and writing a new album namesaking its connection.
Take? That suggests an illegal act which was not the case. Worry not, the writers of the song receive their money anytime the song is played and the song is only played because Natalie covered it

Butterfies is an incredible song! Great album
wouldn't it be refreshing if interviewers would acknowledge any other work?
these shows are like echo chambers
That’s her best album. The lyricism and production is like a mature and darker version of the album that has Torn that everyone loves lol
I agree, it's an excellent album.
Natalie Imbruglia is so talented and humble. I love her ❤
Sweet, talented and humble. Her music remains very classy and one of the best live singers. Can't wait for new album.
And my minds working overtime

She’s lived in the UK since 1994.
Very humble & incredibly honest, seems like a lovely lady

Love Natalie! Can't wait for the new music!
She’s gracious❤ Cant wait for new Natalie tunes🎉
I love her. She’s so amazing
Aged like a fine wine! And such a nice person!!!

Thanks for this history it really is a great song.
I loved her song and video Torn, and also the song and video Big Mistake. For me, they never get old.

Fabulous actress and singing voice. Charming lady ♥ 🎉good 👍 wishes to her.

Bellissima, dolcissima, bravissima artista, unica per sensualita', per semplicita' e per lo splendore del suo visetto meravigliosamente stupendo!
Good to see you Natalie , you look radiant. The beauty of being older and wiser - right O
That’s what it sounds like anyway.
I was in love with her when she was in neighbours so so beautiful
not her song...she covered it! it had been written and released and covered and released twice b4 she did it...
Her best work was her second album, but it wasn't successful because of the first single choice
I don’t know about you, but I cannot imagine Natalie’s special guest appearance in one episode of Doctor Who (Ncuti Gatwa) after Kylie, and writing a new album namesaking its connection.
If I share my country acoustic version of torn on UA-cam video would y'all please support it? I would especially love Natalie to hear it.
CD singles continued for another 10 years after Ben is talking about lol.
Good old neighbours 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
That was last year
Judy ya my best friend
Who is she, may I ask?
Last performance
She sounds like Lulu
Working with vulnerable women
And to think ... it's a cover ! The original was a Norwegian song I think
In hee name
Jonny comes out same tume as Judy
With vulnerable women
My daughters 17
everything she mentions, was "amazing", but her face shows no enthusiasm or joy
Didn’t she take this song from someone else??
the original writers suggest her to cover this
been written and released and then covered twice b4 she covered it...
Take? That suggests an illegal act which was not the case. Worry not, the writers of the song receive their money anytime the song is played and the song is only played because Natalie covered it
She has lost her Australian accent
You should expose mitch winehouse
Is she not at the same stage as Shania Twain in her career?
Natalie is 49, Shania is 58.
@@georgiasmith7615 Yeah, but career wise they've almost been going as long. Shania looks AMAZING at 58.
@@peeg09 I think Shania has recorded and released a lot more albums. Natalie had writer’s block and took a long time between albums.
@@georgiasmith7615 As did Shania from 2004 - 2017.
shania can't sing anymore, all her latest performances are disasters
Mom I said
Expose him Frank's in the box
youve turned her into a pom
Im saddened that she sold out and got her face worked on.

Torn
Men are women 😊😊😊😊
Her sad face
Nasty
Is that antisemitism
She looks Torn
oh please….. that accent is soooo wrong and fake
She’s lived in the UK since 1994. What do you expect?
She’s another one hit wonder.
Absolutely not haha
You must of been living in a cave underground until today!
Lots of hits, Shiver, Counting Down The Days etc
@@mikekaraoke agreed.
@@keepingitreal.5539 I mean not opinion is it, but a fact she is not a 1 hit wonder in singles/albums sales!
Where you from mate??
