- heyyy everyone!!! so yesterday i saw olivia rodrigo live for the first time and AHHHH it was incredible!. We ended up queueing for 19 hours to get barrier but it was so worth it. I filmed as much as i could so i could look back on the experience. i came out of the show feeling so happy (and tired hahaha) i hope ur ok, julia x

I’m an Aussie so I’m extremely familiar and love the song but I’m not shocked, it doesn’t come as a surprise, heaps of people know and love this song, even those who weren’t even born when it was released (like Olivia).

Also I can't stand when I go to hear my favourite artist live & can't hear their voice because a thousand over bunch of people are running it. I went to a Portishead concert & the audience was belting out the intimate parts. Even worse, at a Mariah Carey gig.

I love how the new generation is connecting with the older generation, and they embrace on stage like this. Olivia has been paying tribute to many of her peers and role models like Avril, Natalie Imbruglia, and Alanis. I think the love is mutual in these situations. You love to see it. She's so incredibly talented. In 20 years a newcomer will totally "fan girling"on stage because she got to sing good 4 u with her hero.
The level of wholesomeness and revitalized childhood nostalgia is too much for me to handle 🥹
I think it's really cool that both Olivia and Taylor Swift are bringing artists from the 90s-00s to the stage, exposing good music to a crowd that often wasn't even born during that time and may have no idea about the existence of the guest artists or have never even heard their songs.

I love the phrase "I'm all out of faith", this particular sequence of words sounds so perfectly awesome at the beginning of a chorus.
Then I love the downwards interval in "I'm cold and I am changed".

I took an interest in this incredible duet called "Torn" by Natalie Imbruglia and Olivia Rodrigo and even she has done her own cover version of "Torn" by Natalie Imbruglia from 1997. It wasn't bad either - but to see these brilliant singers do "Torn" together, it's just incredible. Olivia Rodrigo had the #1 album of 2021 according to the Australian Recording Industry Association - (ARIA), with "Sour." And Natalie Imbruglia had her debut album "Left Of The Middle" in 1997, and so that had the song "Torn" on it. And to see her perform that song with Olivia Rodrigo, it's just unbelievable. I heard about this on the "Today" show on Channel 9 this morning in Sydney, New South Wales, in Australia on 8th July, 2022.
