Hi, Glennis! The Sharpies that I have that aren't waterproof are labeled Sharpie Pen, but I have a smaller set of the ultra fine point markers that work great with watercolor, too. I hope that the Sharpies you have work out for you with the watercolor. :)

Hello, friend. Love the final results, particularly the shimmer. Eye catching! On a much more prosaic angle, I also like the "hidden" compartment where you stored the popsicle stick. Convenient and mysterious! Finally, what happens if some of the square goes outside the page in the design'layout phase? Is there extra space (however slight) on the stock itself that will cover for this, or won't the program "allow" you to drag things beyond the borders?
Hi, Keith! The little compartment on the machine is pretty handy. I keep a few tools in there, and it's nice to be able to just open the drawer and grab them as I'm working. As for going "outside the page" with design - as far as I know, the software doesn't have a built-in action that prevents you from dragging parts of the design off the artboard before cutting, so if you go outside of that area, the machine will cut off the page and possibly into the mat (not a good thing since it can ruin the mat) unless you place the cardstock on the mat outside the markings, too. I think this is what you were asking. Let me know if I totally misunderstood and confused you even more. ;)
Hi Kristen ! Thanks for the nice idea... However, I can't get my sketch pens not to drag and stain my paper... Do you have a clue about such a problem ? Thanks again !
Speed setting?
Hi, Meaghan! When I use the Sketch feature with pens / pencils / markers, I usually keep it on the Silhouette Studio default Sketch settings, which are Force : 18 and Speed : 10.
