No joke, I was stunned to see your face in a video after having been off youtube for a while. You look like you're in your 30's and it's unbelievable. Thank you for all this advice, I truly see the work is paying off
Ive been taking pages from the Bryan Johnson and Blue Zone books, incorporating into my daily routine...and Alastin skincare. I turned 65 yesterday and feel great...one tip I might offer on sleep is to go to bed earlier...my sleep has much improved by being in bed by 9 and getting up at 530.
I have been adjusting my routine since entering my 50s and there have been several products I was researching where your discussion, trials, and interviews were so helpful. Thank you Clare! (Note: HRT was huge in helping my sleep)
I will second the HRT… I stopped my low dose birth control pills for a month as an experiment to see how bad my perimenopause was. Constant hot flashes and I’m up almost every hour. Its horrible! Went back on yesterday.
After following every new hope in jar trend I decided to stick only with the tried and true basics with strong science behind it. AM - vitamin C, alpha hydroxy acids, and sunscreen; PM - tretinoin .05% (just enough for me but not too strong) and lately castor oil as my moisturizer. So far so good!!
I just found your channel today and LOVE it and You. You are so professional and easy to understand and trustworthy. I have been looking for a channel like this with health info so I wanted to say Hi and Thank You for all you are doing. Lori
what about adipeau? did you cancel using it, and did it, in hindsight, actually add fat to ur face and if so, did it stay after stopping adipeau? very interesting video, greetings from germany
I used Adipeau for six months and felt I saw improvement that peaked at the 3-month stage. The Adipeau founder told me you didn't have to continue using the cream once you reached a point that you were happy with so I left it there but I wouldn't rule out using it again. In my final update on it I said I felt from all the feedback I received about it that it seemed to work best in those who had experienced sudden facial fat loss. Hope that helps.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DARLIN!!!! YOU look fabulous & YOU'RE simply the BEST! I love the fireworks & sparklers, and am waiting with baited breath for your new serum reveal from space! 🥰
I am also 51 and have similar face shape and skin like yours. My weak spot are my eyebrows which are always a total mess, one is think the other is too wide and they grow all down to my eyes, and my eyesight is too bad to pluck them correctly. I use retinol, vitamin C serum, peptide cream and sometimes snail mucin essence. I think I need higher SPF, maybe 50. I am poor so I have to manage with drugstore care, and I mostly chose vegan and cruelty free products.
Your skincare routine sounds like a smart one. Some of the best ways to support our skin health are low costs, fortunately. I cover them in this video ua-cam.com/video/bSD93qE9fIo/v-deo.html
Hello, in one of your other videos you mentioned about linking your facial exercises video down below. I wasn't able to find it, please eoule you be ahle to share? As I'm so interested! Thanks so much!
Hi - of course. I mention a couple of the face exercises I do in this video and there’s a link in the description of the video to an interview I did with a face massage specialist who demonstrates the best movements ua-cam.com/video/TFfjfAK1SF4/v-deo.htmlsi=qA2yL4wwQA_EfIZx ❤️
For me personally, learning about and incorporating circadian biology practices has been very helpful for my physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. Neurosurgeon Dr Jack Kruse is the person who has really spoken out the most about this subject in the last ten years or so.
Really interesting. I’m 45 and yes, my philosophy is similar to yours. Sometimes, I am more successful than others but try to be more or less consistent over the course of a week.
Happy birthday! I love your channel, I watch all your videos. Have you ever had genetic testing done? I have recently had mine done & it's highlighted a few areas of concern for me including brain health & inflammation. I think it's good to know what your "weak points" are - forewarned is forearmed!
Happy birthday Claire! You are looking amazing so you're definitely doing a lot right. I only started worrying about skincare about a year ago when I turned 53 and noticed my skin ageing rapidly and I stopped recognising myself in the mirror. I became a bit obsessed and threw everything at my skin and some things definitely helped but I started to suffer with regular bouts of inflammation but because I was using about 10 different products I had no clue what was causing it. So I stopped using everything and stopped using any soap or drying products and just used cleansing balm at night, cocoa butter and sunscreen in the morning. As my skin recovered I could properly tell that my skin did look younger and healthier so some of the products had been having a good effect so that when I reintroduced things slowly and pared back my routine. The soap stayed out so no more double cleansing. Just a balm and a good cloth. So now at night I use liquid peptides from Medik8, the maysama roobois serum, red light mask a few nights a week, my tretanoin, and a good basic ceramide moisturiser from dermatica. I apply an oil blend I made myself which contains rosehip, caster and vitamin E oil to seal it all in. My skin doesn't look dry in the morning anymore. In the morning I apply the liquid peptides again, vitamin c, moisturiser and sunscreen. I have recently added a ginseng toner but it's too early to tell if it's doing any good. I also use collagen supplements and have noticed my body skin seems a lot healthier. I have tried cutting back on sugar but I love my evening bar of chocolate and the odd cake and treat. Basically I have very little will power. Same with exercise. I walk my dogs so that's good but I don't do any cardiovascular exercise. I was diagnosed with adhd last September after a GP referral and am now taking medication and I've lost a stone and a half in weight because I finally can control my recurring impulse binge eating which is great because I have been trying to lose thar extra weight for years with the opposite of success because it kept creeping up. Also I don't drink or smoke so that's good. I do feel I'm doing and looking quite good for almost 54 but I don't think I'll ever be a beacon of inspiration on how to live or eat well in the way you are but I do enjoy your channel and it has given me lots of food for thought since I started my skincare interest. So thank you Claire. ❤❤❤
You've inspired me Michelle! I think it's wonderful that you've pursued a diagnosis in your fifties and that you've made so many positive changes to your skincare and lifestyle. I really do relate on the sugar challenge. I've just eaten a handful of chocolate raisins. I try to follow the Glucose Goddess tips to lessen the sugar spike. She's well worth a follow on Instagram. Thanks for sharing your experience with us!!
Thank you for all you do! I think this was the best, most comprehensive & teachable podcasts youve done thus far, that ive watched. Just my opinion, but I think the clips of you washing your face, with no makeup, looks so much younger & vibrant than your skin with makeup. Just an outsiders opinion. The last video I saw, yesterday, "How red light therapy affects your microbiom" I remember being in amazement on how youthful and transformed your skin is from previous videos!!
Bless you and thank you! I agree that make-up ages me a little. I feel like I need to apply it when I'm filming or I look washed out, but I use less and less as I age.
Happy Birthday, Clare 🎂🎉🥳The best thing I learned on your channel (or was reminded of) is not to wash my face in the mornings, or at least use only water to clean. I"ve pared down my routine to only a few items. Currently using no devices. Again thanks for the reminder of Jesse's book & insulin resistance.....I'm a lover of sugar too x
do not shy away from beauty tech, I know there are a lot of devices out there, hard to choose, but one I 'd recommend anytime- red light LED theraphy FAQ SWISS 202. Fantastic! great design, easy to use.
Most of the evidence for weighted sleep blankets is anecdotal at this point. This is a really helpful article www.webmd.com/sleep-disorders/weighted-blankets
Ahh another great video and i agree with everything. I have so much skin care but i am starting to tone it down a bit. I have started an exercise regime of about 4 times a week for an hour each.. I have to force myself but it feels so great afterwards. I do have a huge problem with sugar and i am not sure i can win that war. Clare i am curious of what is the size of your weights. I started with 5 lbs and have moved up to 7. I plan of course on moving up as i go. Thank you so much for your very interesting videos.
Often severe sugar cravings have to do with vitamin & minerals deficiencies. You should also know that scientific research has shown that our immune systems are weakened for quite some time after each time that we consume sugar.
I hear you on the sugar front. I'm still eating chocolate every day and desserts on weekends. I know it's too much but also I am doing my best to offset it by using the tips from the Glucose Revolution book. I have 4kg dumbbells (around 8lb) at home that I use, and I do most of my weight training at the gym on the machines so I'm pulling about 35kg with my arms at the moment.
I use clean products where possible. I’m not a fan of too many chemicals - either in the food I choose to eat or the products I put on my biggest organ, my skin. I use Kora organics and Jurlique but am looking for a clean all round serum similar to the Estée Lauder advanced night repair. I’m nearly 67 and more concerned with looking fresh rather than unlined.
My mum didn't have wrinckles until her late 50s when she went into menaupause. She didn't use anything on her skin, no mosturiser or spf and she worshipped the sun. Her mum had amazing skin too. I damaged my skin because of fillers and hyaluronidase. I wish I didn't do anything
@@thehonestchannel :) thank you! I thought I had remembered you saying that, but was confused when I saw someone else say ''you had to'. I'm not a superfan of the gel, and was intrigued that there was a device that may not need it!
I can't wait to see Claire's review on that too! This video showed her just applying it on her neck versus her entire face/neck, and I am wondering why, since it's indicated for both.
Good spot - I'm just using it on my neck so that I can separate out the different products I'm trying. So I'm testing the 'space serum' : ) on my face at the moment and Bluelene on my neck.
Thanks for the video! I would love if you did a deep dive into Retinal as an ingredient in skincare which has long since been viewed very skeptically by chemists and formulators who tell us how extraordinarily unstable it is. I know there is a lot of drama with the Geek and Gorgeous formula in particular not containing much of any bioavailable Retinal, and questions about if the Medik8 double encapsulation technology is too robust to deliver active retinal into the skin. The research is almost nonexistent. I use to use the Geek and Gorgeous retinal, but aside from my skin being less red all the time I noticed there werent nearly as many benefits as tretinoin. After hearing the drama surrounding the ingredient, I can't help but wonder if thats because my RA receptors aren't even being activated. Cheers!
Wow, I was unaware of the controversy about retinal, including the Geek & Gorgeous product! This sounds worrying. Where did you read about it? Please let me know how I can find out more about this? Many thanks
There are so many conflicting views around retinoids and I think the truth is we do not yet know the very best formulations for the long term health of our skin, despite everything we hear. That's why I think it's important to try out the different options and choose what works best, and in what concentrations and frequency for your individual skin type. Research is sponsored and it's really hard to find experts who don't have a vested interest. I always ask the skincare contributors I have on the channel about retinoids so I'm sharing a range of opinions. I would be interested to hear where you're seeing the drama around the Geek & Gorgeous formulation? I think it's a terrific product simply based on my own results.
@@Aurla-R2-D2 The best full length discussion going over all the research out there that I've found is the Chemist Confessions podcast! I believe it is episode #83
@@thehonestchannel Anecdotally off the top of my head the only specific reference I can remember for the "drama" is a youtube video by Mo skin lab (a toxicologist in cosmetics) discussing the ingredient, who expressed some skepticism about stability. This was echoed again by the Chemist Confessions podcast (who also added that the research so far doesn't actually support the claim that it is "10x" more effective than retinol, and seems to be pretty on par with it) and the stability research I've seen on the ingredient. But all that to say, we just don't know for sure. I'm excited to learn The Ordinary released a retinal serum, and I have been thinking of emailing them to ask about how they got around the stability issues. If they've done their own clinicals I think that would be enough to convince me! Or if perhaps G&G could talk more about theirs.
I am 55 years old, and people tell me I look 15 years younger. What does helps my skin is dermaplaning, retinol peeling von Medimerma, Biorepeel, vitamin C, and pomegranate seeds oil.. I also take taurine, creatine, and silicium.
Ho os the the Geek & Gorgeous retinal the one that takes less steps to convert? I use tret on my face but cant use it on my neck but woukd like to try some form on my neck. Thanks Claire x
Hi. Adipeau is more of a fat boosting treatment than a daily long-term moisturizer so I used it for 6 months for the purposes of review These were my final thoughts (from 11:43) after six months of use ua-cam.com/video/7asSev0nWYs/v-deo.htmlsi=uKNs2fXkvNNdicof
While your youthful appearance is a good indicator that you're doing something right, the price of the lotions and creams you use are out of reach for most people. Consider that few people with families have that kind of extra cash. I use Cera-Ve products from my local drugstore as recommended by my dermatologist. While I can't see that their products are much help at erasing wrinkles that were already there, I'm hopeful they have at least slowed down the aging of my skin. Also, it's a relatively simple routine of cleansing, moisturizing, a bit of retinol occasionally, and adding SPF protection. I appreciate the research you're doing. Thanks!
I think that's a very fair point. My hope is that by encouraging people to cut back on skincare they end up saving money but I recognise that a few of the products I use are pricey. Skincare is really my one area of indulgence. For info I also shared this video recently on low cost ways to boost your skin health with some great lower cost products in there. ua-cam.com/video/bSD93qE9fIo/v-deo.html
Another interesting one. I’d like to find a neutral expert to talk about biostimulator efficacy and safety but finding someone who fits the bill is challenging! I will definitely prioritize this to do something on the channel discussing the different options very soon.
Hi Clare, Do you still take Collagen peptides …??? It would be real nice to see a video of things you tried that you don’t think s worth spending the money. I know skincare is an upward battle… I’m glad to see you are doing things that you think may work. There is so many things that don’t ….agree your pillars of good health should be the foundation before spending money.
Hi. I do add a little hydrolyzed collagen to my breakfast a few days a week still. That’s a good idea re the things I don’t think are worth the money. What works for one might not work for another but there are a few things that come to mind that I could include ❤️
Hi Clare, would you recommend both calecim serum and the cream on the face (on alternate days or 1 times a week each as part of PM skin routine)? Or do you think it will be overkill as both contain the growth factors ? Will you repurchase calecim multi tasking cream?
Hi. I only use the Calecim multi action cream on my skin in general (just using it at nights), although from time to time I do a microneedling session with the serum. I'm now nearly 52 (time flies) so have repurchased multiple times.
@@thehonestchannel Do you think can the Calecim multi-action cream be used in same routine as tretinoin crème? Unfortunately time flies. However, your skin looks amazing. Your videos are so inspiring. Thank you!
Hi Clare, Thanks lots for this great video :) I've just watched your older video, "Medik8 Retinal 10 v Geek & Gorgeous Retinal 10", and I'm wondering if you have noticed any hair loss (eg thinning eyebrows, etc) while using retinal? In your other video you shared "before" and "after" photos, and your eyebrows actually looked much thicker in your "after" photo, but perhaps that was due to makeup or having used a brow growth serum or something? I want to try Geek & Gorgeous A-Game but I'm scared of retinal causing hair loss. I would love to hear your opinion? All best wishes from Brighton ^_^
I did have thinning brows and got them microbladed but they were very obviously thinning before using retinoids and didn't worsen. There was some evidence that retinoids can boost hair growth and I haven't spotted anything to the contrary. Where did you see concerns about hair loss?
I’m 70 and look like I’m in my 40’s. I just have one word for you, heredity. My Grandfather, my Mom and I all shared this trait. I use next to nothing on my skin and have not used soap on my skin since I was 30. I recall my Grandfather looking about 65 when he was 90! Oddly, I am still regularly bothered and catcalled by men in their 40’s which is really embarrassing at my age.
OMG, I don’t believe a word you have said. I’m sure you look a version of your age, good, but no where near your 40’s unless it’s a very old looking 40 year old who has never taken care of her skin. People love to say whatever on these skin-care channels.
Reply. Well why aren't you Famous. Don't believe it. I have good skin. ppl.akwstd think I'm fifteen years younger. But. Thirty. Na. Don't believe for a second
@theresatomasello1843 your response is so funny and bitter😂 I know black women in their 60s and 70s who look in their 30s and 40s. I'm sure there are people who take care of themselves AND have good genetics *across many groups* There are simply people who look that good with age whether you like it or believe it, or not.
🎊 Happy🎂Birthday!🥳 Claire! 🎉 I used to be a gym rat, and was in phenomenal shape. Sadly, I haven't worked out regularly in quite some time. I almost can't believe I went from one extreme to the other. I NEED to step it up on EVERY pillar to be honest! ***CLAIRE*** What factors made you choose using the Red Light panel over the mask?
Thank you Cheryl! It's so easy to get out of the way of going to the gym. Honestly, the sauna is the only thing that gets me there because I don't love the weight training. I went for the panel simply because I can cover more areas (face, neck, chest and back of my hands) in one session and I can sit and do my face and jaw exercises at the same time. The masks are great too though. It's just about what works best for you.
You should be able to see it in the description now. I would use as recommended by Calecim (so daily for the multi-action cream to start) and see how you go. I just use it in the evenings and take breaks every now on then to save money more than anything
I'm 52 and these are my pillars, as well. Wishing they'd been my pillars my whole life, but at 51 I developed an auto-immune disorder and started fasting (prolonged 3- to 5.5-days and IF) along with eating only whole, clean food (no particular "diet"). So, I guess I'd add "fasting" to your pillars to complete my list. As far as skin goes, prolonged fasting gets rid of cellulite, broken down collagen, and stimulates cell turnover.
Hi Barbara.Adipeau is more of a fat boosting treatment than a daily long-term moisturizer so I used it for 6 months for the purposes of review These were my final thoughts (from 11:43) after six months of use ua-cam.com/video/7asSev0nWYs/v-deo.htmlsi=uKNs2fXkvNNdicof
Thank you! I think the red light and microcurrent help and I’ve been doing a couple of jaw/under-chin strengthening exercises that I think are also really good. Will do a demo video soon ❤️
Yes, when I'm on breaks from Calecim I just use the True Botanicals oil as my nighttime moisturizer and when I'm using the Calecim I use a couple of drops after.
If you look in the description there’s a link next to where I say ‘my skincare routine’ and I have all the products listed together there with discount codes. Thanks for checking ❤️
I bought the Ziip in December and using it ever other day too, but I feel like I look worse! It dries out my lips and makes them look shriveled and emphasizes the lip lines. Also feel like my cheeks have lost volume and jowls look worse. It’s the only thing I changed in my routine so I’m really confused
That's disappointing and sometimes there's no knowing why one person's skin responds well to something and another doesn't. I guess the only thing you can try is stopping it for a while to see if there is improvement and then at least you've identified the culprit.
Hi. Yes, I used tretinoin in 2022 and I think it benefited my skin in terms of helping smooth fine lines and also gave me clearer skin too. I talked quite a lot in my skincare videos last year about why I switched back down to retinal, and then ultimately stopped using it every day too. It ties in to finding the right balance for my skin described in this video so that I have got it to a point where it self hydrates. Some people can use tretinoin every day and find it is not overly drying for their skin, others use it more sparingly and find that works, while others need to switch to something else.
Of course. I've linked in the description to the supplements I currently use - I opt for higher strength in a Scottish winter. I also like Howard & James' D3 & K2 at 4000iu per capsule - I take one every other day in summer.
A few people have said that over the years. I've always done it (because I'm always in a hurry!) and I have been told (as Mary suggests below) that just as with facial massage, manipulation of our skin with oils can be quite helpful. I guess it's a balance - couldn't say for sure that I have it right!
There are definitely a few pricier ones in there and some cheaper ones too. The good news is there are lots of low cost ways to improve your skin health. I rounded them up in this video here which you might find helpful - ua-cam.com/video/bSD93qE9fIo/v-deo.html
I’m so confused, probably need to look at the links you suggested below. I’ve always heard that oils are unnecessary but just like you, my skin feels so tight after showering. I also can’t wait to apply my moisturizer, however, is a hundred dollar oil the only solution for that, very disheartening. I didn’t understand how exactly did you cut back on actives and what do think of tretinoin . Thank you so very much for this info. I think Im just a bit overwhelmed right now. Can you share why you think a 100 dollar oil is worth buying.
Hi. I use two different oils and mentioned in the video that the Maysama one that I use in the morning (because it's fermented and easily absorbed) is half the price and could easily be used morning and night. The True Botanicals oil at $100 is expensive but contains high quality, pure ingredients (high in antioxidants, ceramides and fatty acids) that I feel contribute to my skin health. I use these oils so I can avoid using preservatives and I find they work for me.
I would also say that while a fancy, fermented, “face oil” might work well, you should also just consider the older “oil cleansing method.” Search for information using that term-it was all the rage say, 15 years ago in the crunchy granola, natural living pockets of the internet. It’s a way of cleansing your face using simple oils-jojoba, apricot kernel, etc. It’s the BEST thing I’ve ever done for my skin-my skin is never as soft and balanced, and my pores are never as clear when I’m doing anything else. People make it complicated sometimes, but all you need is a good quality, inexpensive oil that’s good for your skin-I usually buy a 16 ounce bottle of apricot kernel oil for somewhere between $10 and $15 U.S., which lasts so long that I need to keep a small container in my bathroom and the rest in the fridge so it doesn’t go rancid over the many, many, many months it lasts me. Then I steam my face with a warm, wet washcloth/face cloth (not *too* hot, which will just irritate and dry out the skin). Then, using a small palm full of the oil, I massage it all over my face for 30 seconds or so to loosen any makeup, grime, etc. Then I steam again for at least 30 seconds or so. I gently wipe off any excess oil, and then if I still feel too greasy, I re-steam and re-wipe as necessary. But again, don’t over wipe the skin or it just irritates it. If you like, you can also use your favorite oil as a face oil even after you cleanse with it, but I’ve never felt it was necessary. I don’t really feel like I need moisturizer when I use this method, but that likely depends on your skin type. Do some reading on all the oils people like to use (I would strongly advise against olive or coconut oil though-some people swear by them, but nothing has ever made me break out the way coconut oil does, and olive is just too heavy in my opinion, and you’ll smell a little like dinner…😂) I’ve loved the apricot kernel-moisturizing, but also light and easily absorbed and easily wiped away after steaming.
I have dry skin on my body and have always used body moisturizers after the shower on damped skin. They work great. I am French and there are great ones in French but also the American brand Aveeno is really good and it's quiet affordable. I made a video on my channel about my favorites a few months ago. Sane for my shower gels because if not well chosen they can make things worse. Hope it helps!
@@thehonestchannel thanks! I am 48 and think this would be ideal for men too, even if we don’t weat make up…. The routine will be great, I am lymphatic drainage massage specialist and it appears that this will be indicated for a nontoxic, simple routine.

It’s so confusing!! According to Dr Natalya Spierings, micro needling is a waste of time !! Also the “Nira” inventor is going to test his device with his own clients !! And he wouldn’t push it if his customers/clients don’t like it !!
I've interviewed her and I have her book. She isn't against microneedling per se but suggests it's really clinical microneedling/ using microneedling at greater depths (which is why she recommends getting it professionally done) can achieve results over time.
I just saw her instagram live where she discussed it again ! Her book is a real eye opener ( for me anyway),where she discusses ‘big skincare ‘ As someone who has spent sooooo much on lotions and potions and devices over the years,it just really made me think !!!
I make my own decisions. I’ve had experts on my channel who are pro tret and others who think daily long-term use is not a good idea. I’m happy with my skin at 51 and this regimen is right for me.

Sounds like a sensible approach to me! ❤️

what about adipeau? did you cancel using it, and did it, in hindsight, actually add fat to ur face and if so, did it stay after stopping adipeau?
very interesting video, greetings from germany
I used Adipeau for six months and felt I saw improvement that peaked at the 3-month stage. The Adipeau founder told me you didn't have to continue using the cream once you reached a point that you were happy with so I left it there but I wouldn't rule out using it again. In my final update on it I said I felt from all the feedback I received about it that it seemed to work best in those who had experienced sudden facial fat loss. Hope that helps.
I’m still loving adipeau on my cheeks. That stuff def works! I cycle it & use it nightly for 6 months then stop for 3 months or so.

Thank you! Funnily enough I’m just awaiting my results!! My husband bought me a test kit for my birthday.
@@thehonestchannel ah thanks for the lovely reply Clare. I will definitely give her a follow. Xx

@TheHonestChannel You still look beautiful with makeup, just more fresh & glowy without...that's a good thing, we all strive for. 😘

@@thehonestchannel keep up the good work! 😊
Thanks Val! Isn't it great to be able to scale back rather than continually build up products too? It's a relief.

Thank you for creating this video. Question, i heard that weight blankets help with anxiety and help sleep better, is there any research on that?
I’ve only ever rinsed my face in the morning, no cleanser. Vit c and an spf moisturiser works for me.
Happy birthday! 🎁🎆🎉🎈
When so many products and treatments are dangled in front of us you feel you're missing out by not pursuing them. It's tricky to find the balance.
Hi Claire, thank you again for all the brilliant information. I have a question regarding the Zip Halo--Do you use a conductive gel with it?
I don't use a conductive gel but that is the recommendation so I'm just being honest there!
@@thehonestchannel :) thank you! I thought I had remembered you saying that, but was confused when I saw someone else say ''you had to'. I'm not a superfan of the gel, and was intrigued that there was a device that may not need it!
I can't wait to watch! 😍
Hope you enjoy it! 🥰
I’m going to give Bluelene a try
I can't wait to see Claire's review on that too! This video showed her just applying it on her neck versus her entire face/neck, and I am wondering why, since it's indicated for both.
Let us know how you find it!
@@thehonestchannel ~ Thank you so much for your thoughtful and helpful response :)
Love it. Love your content. Taking notes!
Thank you!
I am 55 years old, and people tell me I look 15 years younger. What does helps my skin is dermaplaning, retinol peeling von Medimerma, Biorepeel, vitamin C, and pomegranate seeds oil.. I also take taurine, creatine, and silicium.

dear Clare, you don't mention Adipeau any more, why is that? Thank you, many warm regards from Switzerland
What do think about polynucleotides.
Hi. I do add a little hydrolyzed collagen to my breakfast a few days a week still. That’s a good idea re the things I don’t think are worth the money. What works for one might not work for another but there are a few things that come to

How fabulous!
OMG, I don’t believe a word you have said. I’m sure you look a version of your age, good, but no where near your 40’s unless it’s a very old looking 40 year old who has never taken care of her skin. People love to say whatever on these skin-care channels.

I used to be a gym rat, and was in phenomenal shape. Sadly, I haven't worked out regularly in quite some time. I almost can't believe I went from one extreme to the other.
I NEED to step it up on EVERY pillar to be honest!
***CLAIRE***
What factors made you choose using the Red Light panel over the mask?
Thank you Cheryl! It's so easy to get out of the way of going to the gym. Honestly, the sauna is the only thing that gets me there because I don't love the weight training.
I went for the panel simply because I can cover more areas (face, neck, chest and back of my hands) in one session and I can sit and do my face and jaw exercises at the same time. The masks are great too though. It's just about what works best for you.
Excellent video!
Thank you! 🥰
Claire where is the link to the interview re Calecim please? How many times a week do we use ? Do we alternate and why? Thanks !
You should be able to see it in the description now. I would use as recommended by Calecim (so daily for the multi-action cream to start) and see how you go. I just use it in the evenings and take breaks every now on then to save money more than anything
Thank you for your clear advice!
Oh, forgot to mention I healed my auto-immune disorder by these pillars.
Please tell us any tips to start fasting…
What about Adipeau Active face cream? Have you ditched that? I found it when I returned to my summer place where I left it 7 months ago.

Great recap! Anyone know of a good facial oil (with fatty acids) that won’t completely break the bank? I have a hard time spending big $$ on oils.
Farmacy's Honey Grail is a good one that you can often find discounts on. Otherwise it's similar in price to Maysama's.
Hi l am interesting skincare routine thank you so much ❤ 🎉 😊 xx
You’re welcome! 🥰
Loved it!
❤️
Hi, I watched your videos on tretinoin - from dermatica and decided to give it a go. Is there any reason you are no longer using it?
@@thehonestchannel Ah, yes I get you, thank you for explaining! I will go through your past videos for some more tips!
How often do you use retinal?
A couple of times a week now. I have been using it for a few years and came to the conclusion that daily use was excessive for my skin

@@thehonestchannel thank you so very much for answering my questions.
@@amyradbill1836 WOW, thanks so much for taking the time to give me all these oil tips

Calecim didn't do anything for me !!
You’re not alone, though I also have a lot of viewers who love it. Sorry it didn’t work out for you.
Her book is a real eye opener ( for me anyway),where she discusses ‘big skincare ‘
As someone who has spent sooooo much on lotions and potions and devices over the years,it just really made me think !!!
@@Sheenoshine Yes, I think she talks a lot of sense.
So, i think that if you hadn't listened to this 1 skeptical doctor and kept up with tret, you would have better results. Oops
