    I am in a red light bed for 20 minutes about five days a week. The owner of the salon has done intensive research and the company says 20 is the maximum time. I have seen so many improvements in my face and hair I am thrilled. The scars I had have almost disappeared, that is a miracle too.

      That’s pretty unbelievable 😂 Can you make a video on it please haha? I have one in my room and my husband uses it faithfully every night at least 20 minutes. Cost me $1000 from a reputable company. Husband keeps asking me what does it do cos he doesn’t seem to see any difference 😅😂

    Thank you Clare for communicating so well on all the alternatives health & beauty maintenance products & regimes. After having a total hysterectomy because at age 57 my hair started to fall out & jowls started to appear Z. But now on Oestrogel & Testogel in small doses & micro current & 3 minutes salted damp towel neck practice & my jowls are gone. Using collagen peptides on skin & have always used high factor sun screen ( fair skinned) & taking magnesium Glycinate & NMN with Apinin to help me relax before bedtime. Working out every other day on top of usual physical activity & feeling better & looking better. Your channel helped me to make informed choices, so thank you so much 😊

It is, apart from sunscreen and retinol, the only other cream I will ever use. Thank you Clare for your video on it. Thank you! I haven’t seen it. I know he’s said before he is skeptical about how growth factors pass the skin barrier, which is why microneedling assists. I’m sure there are many products out there where the peptides don’t pass the skin barrier but I think the two I’ve focussed on this year - No7 and Calecim - are supported by good evidence which they set out in the interviews I did.

    Please give people a warning about growth factors. My dermatologist told me to never use them as I have had skin cancer in the past. Another Dermatologist here on UA-cam warns people about growth factors as well. She says that people who have had skin cancer, especially melanoma should never use it. And she is a Mohs surgeon. Even if someone has never had cancer on their face, it can cause other unwanted things to grow, like skin tags. So everyone should do some research and decide for themselves.

    • @LisaNix2
      @LisaNix2 11 місяців тому

      I think that it’s also just common sense that if growth factors and stem cells work to make cells proliferate, then it wouldn’t be selective, and would make both normal and abnormal cells proliferate. So there are risks and benefits just like with estrogen.

      @@manymoms920 I don't do the towel slapping 😄because my neck isn't a problem area right now, but I do some of the lymphatic drainage moves taught by Claire Maclean in my interview with her. I use the Phoenix roller which I think is great for keeping everything toned with minimum fuss. I like the ZIIP because it's gentle but I would only use it for maintenance - I don't think you get dramatic improvements with microcurrent.

    Hi 😀 This is your new subscriber. I would like to ask you, which of all your creams and tools would you most stick to, if you (obviously) would not like to apply all of this "stuff". I mean, it is not only a matter of money but also of time. Are there p. e. 3 things you could recommend most? Thank you ❤

      Thanks for subscribing! I would always keep sunscreen in there and the one I use contains antioxidants and is deeply moisturizing as well so that would do me in the daytime. I would also keep my red light panel and continue to massage my face (by hand or roller) and I'd like to keep a my multi action cream at night too!

    Great compilation of 2023 thank you! I’ve been using a prescription of tretinoin for 3 years now, every other night and my skin has never stopped peeling, specially around the nose and mouth. I watch another person on youtube, she has been using it for 20 years and her skin still peels. sometimes I don’t know if its worth keep using it.
    We got the Kenzzi IPL with two attachments for acne and age spots and wrinkles, the one with acne is for ny son, and my husband and I have started using the other one. Could you do some research about the use of IPL on wrinkles? and a video of course. Thank you so much! Have a great holiday season and can’t wait to see what you bring us next year!!!!

      It's not ideal for your skin to still be peeling. Could you drop down in strength? I absolutely love retinal. I think it's a great alternative if tret is proving too harsh. I"ll add IPL to my list for 2024! Happy holidays when they come!!

    Injecting animal DNA would be a firm no for me. I'm all about innovative products but this sounds like one of things that in a few years they'll saying 'Oops, we didn't know'..Thank you for making these videos though, I appreciate your research.

      I'm comfortable using it topically for now but, like you, wouldn't be keen to have it injected without a considerable amount of safety research.

      A very interesting product but I did those interviews in 2022 so not one for this year’s round-up.

      Thanks for the wealth of knowledge it's been very helpful. For years, I've been trying to navigate this information myself, and now I don't have to do this. One size doesn't fit all, excellent advice as well as starting a new product gently and safety.
