Hi Courtney, I love your channel so much, its filled with your lovely sense of humour, talent and drive. I think you inspire people to get out there and use their feet and produce some good work. 👍 Also, keep doing the dancing, it's great.😆
Thank God for your UA-cam channel, Courtenay! You’re a wonderful breath of fresh air, you take awesome photos and I’m so pleased you don’t mess about with technical stuff about cameras and lenses. By the Ralph said, “Let’s stay home and relax, hey?” 😊
Love when you put the dance in the video's, I don't have the courage to do that, maybe one day. Sucks about your gear, I know the feeling having broken my favorite lens last year, thanks for sharing.
Really enjoyed this one, Courtney. It's awful when your cameras take a hit, I can relate to that one. Spring is right around the corner though so that's something to look forward to. Have a good one 🖖😁
Great video Courtney. Now I know how the D750 got hurt. Did not know the ZV1 took a hit as well. Hope the repair goes well. Thanks for sharing the video 👍🙏
Yeah, the ZV1 wasn't too bad but I decided to get it repaired rather than keep using it and make a small problem into a large one! I'm already missing it though and look forward to using it again 😂
This answered a question I had. I figured if I watched enough you'd give away your secrets. I was curious about what camera you used to record video with. It was obvious it wasn't the D750.
Funny :) :P :P Great video and loved the jiving :P All you needed was a mirror ball and some flashing coloured lights :) :P You should keep your D7000 as a second camera, just in case you have trouble with the 750. I'd also keep the film cameras as well, but that's just me (and, I like shooting film).
Great look behind the scenes Courtney. I am currently on my 2nd Aony ZV-1. I had the same exact thing happen. Wind blew it over, straight onto the lens. Sent it in to be fixed and it wasn't worth the price of repair. I love the camera, so I had to break down and buy another one. Loved the look at your printer setup and the prints look amazing, might have to look into this printer! Great video! Hope you are doing well.
Oh damn, luckily mine wasn't an arm and a leg to repair. I could have continued to use it but I was worried I'd break it further in doing so. It's a fantastic camera though so I don't blame you for buying it again. Thanks for watching and have a great week! 👍
I enjoyed this video Courtney! The Nikon D7000 was my first DSLR camera! I used it up until I got the Z6 in January 2020. Now, it just sits on my shelf with the cheap 18-200 mm lens it came with. Haven't decided what to do with it. 🤔
Your story-telling is sooo good in this vlog. It’s just simply enjoyable😀 sorry about the mishap with the camera😩 Btw. Ralph didn’t seem too interested in leaving that snuggly abode😄😄
Fantastic behind-the-scenes vlog, Courtney. Wish I would have found your channel sooner! Great looking printer setup. I'd love to get a printer someday. I live a bit too much of a nomadic lifestyle at the moment. Someday. Ah, yes. Breaking camera gear. I broke two lenses in a year, that's not so much fun. I guess it's part of the experience sometimes.
Thanks Courtney for sharing your experience/story... just love your presentations...no deer only kangaroos ... your locations are so interesting.... cheers from Australia 😀
@@CourtneyVictoria when I lived on a small rural property there were about 40 kangaroos in the paddock & sometimes I could get close to photograph (50 mtrs) but they can be aggressive sometimes... cheers 😀❤️
I must say that seeing you work on photos, the things you own and used, and generally seeing your other videos and Instagram page, I really admire your work and effort! you seriously deserve MUCH more attention in those fields! Oh! and Ralph is so cute!! (Never stop dancing and having fun as well!)
Great content and visuals as always. I ordered the L bracket! I am glad that your camera survived its accident. PS Was your dancing style inspired by Kate Bush?
@courtneyvictoria Audio tip #2: For interior shots, run the wire inside your shirt, and clip the microphone at the collar, outside the shirt. No wind muff required for indoor (unless a fan is blowing on you). Visually, this will look better. Your video shooting is all great - lighting, composition, storytelling. Just a couple small tweaks with your audio to get you to that next level. ~ Sound guy Larry :)
Love you video's.Quick question, on your 16-35 lens you have the VR on when your shooting on the tripod, do you find this helps as I always turn VR off when I shoot on a tripod.
Salutations ! 🇫🇷
Hello dear , CV, may i know what barnd name and model for the bag you have loaded your holga medium format camera in ? or please share link for same to buy online ... Thanks ! all the very best ...
I loved working with film! I think it was more of the process of developing images that I really enjoyed. It's a dream one day to be able to have a small darkroom to work in.
The repair cost could have been worse, just one of those things. Honestly, I never felt the need to insure my cameras (which sounds very silly now!) Looking into insurance options at the moment, but hopefully I won't have a third accident ha!
Hello :-) I've just come across your channel and you have a new subscriber. I would personally hold onto the D7000 as your backup, just in case, although I would bite your hand off for one ;-p
You really are such a treasure, such a beautiful person. 😊 A aside, the only photo tragedy I've had in 20+ years of shooting...was accidentally leaving an Olympus E-M10 mark 2...on top of my car after a shoot. I was putting gear away and saw a lovely sunset happening, so I pulled the camera out of the bag and snapped a shot or two. Put the bag back in the car and headed off.......the camera was 24 hours old and fell off the car about a half mile down the road at 40mph. It took 72 hours to get a new battery for it so I could even see if it worked or not. It was perfectly fine, just some road rash on it and a little character. It was a tense few days with that sickening feeling in the pit of my stomach, especially as I couldn't find everything because...as I said...I decided to do this at sunset. 🙃
I for one vote for a spin-off channel of nothing but dancing!
One tip to stop your tripods from getting blown over is to hang your camera bags from under them to add some mass to the tripod 😉👍
Fantastic photos great video

watching you dance always make me smile
Thank you for sharing your life with us, glad you repaired your camera
Thanks Joe! I'll be glad when I get the camera back from the service center. A bit of a wait but I'd rather it worked properly! Have a great week 😀
Victoria, you have the same desktop lamp like me. But I have white version. 😃
Keep away from the water just in case haha 😄

Cool video, Thanks! 📸 (You could always lighten up that F90 by taking off the MB10 battery grip.)

I just purchased a Pig Iron and Small Rig for my cameras. ...

I'd love to swap deer for kangaroos sometime, though I bet they are also be a little difficult to catch close up on camera.

IMO Photoshop is way more powerful than LR but my preferred RAW interpreter is Affinity Photo.
Ouchie on the Nikon! Good thing that it still works. That's a good commentary on the sturdiness of the camera, though.
Me encanta tu canal , saludos desde México ✌🏼
Ouch on the camera, i drowned a D800 two years ago so i feel that pain. Great insight mate and have a fantastic week.
Oh man yeah that sucks! 😬 not much you can do when damage like that has happened. Thanks and have a great week too!

Thank very much! You're so kind! Ralph is VERY camera shy haha! It's quite the challenge to get him on camera most of the time. Hope you're well!

Cute photographer for sure

Photoshop’s raw editor is the same as Lightroom. But I’m sure you knew that. 😎💜😎
Hope the weather improves!
The wind has finally died down which is great. Some rain today but I'm hoping to get out a few times this week and do some photography!

Hmmmmm. Is that the same camera that went for a swim? Looks like you really do need that insurance. LOL. Nice video though.

I also clean my own sensor... No need to pay for such a simple service! Great video!
Don't you use bracketing system? What is your opinion about it?

Best keep that Nikon out of the rain, you might have broken its weather sealing.
how was it like shooing film since you did it before the hype ?
