As a novice in the photography world this is my ULTIMATE dream, to travel the world and capture the world's most unique sights behind the lens! Isn't it incredible? people used to live WITHIN Machu Pichu ages ago yet the walls are preserved and the grass are green. Just, WOW!
it makes me emotional when people reach their dreams. Also, these photographs took my breath away, you're so talented. both in composition, and in finding the story of the moment.
It's always lovely to be part of a project, where afterwards you pinch yourself asking: "did this really happen? wow".
Congrats! Nat Geo is a big milestone.
The contrast between the "self portrait video" and this one is amazing. I love that as a creator you can be vulnerable in both situations and still take beautiful images.
All the hard work paid off! You’re so passionate about photograph, NG is privileged to have you shoot for them. Congratulations!
Photographing for Nat Geo has been the dream Ive had since childhood. This is so beautiful and inspiring and energetic to see! Your work is spectacular and powerful, thank you for sharing this story!
Storytelling from the heart, pictures from the mind. Awesome.
Great storytelling, amazing photos, amazing composition. Loved all of this. Amazing work!
Taylor this is so incredible! Every - if not most photographers dream! So happy for you and proud of you!!
What a thrill. For every photographer of a certain age, you just lived the dream. Beautiful story and gorgeous images.
What an amazing opportunity, Taylor!! Absolutely love the shots you captured and this video! Sending much love from our team and our musicians ❤🎶
We want to see you go on more adventures like this! Those photos are absolutely spectacular!!!!
Your smile is infectious. I enjoyed the whole video but the part with James just melt my heart. And you are so pretty explaining all this.
Absolutely stunning photos and perfect storytelling. Thanks for sharing and can’t wait to see the doc.
I really enjoy how you narrate in these videos. It’s as beautiful and touching and inspiring as your photos, music and video editing. I love you’re not being shallow and that you appreciate what you do to such extend - it really shows. ❤
whoa! imagine taking a break from chatting to language learners from South America to catch up on UA-cam notifications and finding this... Amazing - I'm blown away by your photos here, they really do capture the magic of the locations. Fantastic work! oh.. and the Juan and James moments... the icing on the cake!
This was incredibly inspiring!
Tears in my eyes at the end.
Congrats u people rock!
This is so cool and I’m so happy to see you thriving 🥹
Great storytelling, photos and video! Loving the stuff you’re putting out 😊

What a great opportunity. Thanks for sharing it with us. I went to Peru with my family a few years ago. It is such a magical place to visit, and it warmed my heart to watch your video and made me miss Peru.
Beautiful images, wonderful story, well-crafted all around.
"Whoa. We just did that." is the reason why I love my photography career. As an artist, there is no other better feeling. On to the next WHOA!
What an amazing opportunity. Great job with the images and story telling.
Excellent storytelling. Thanks for sharing all of the awesome photos.
Incredible images, incredible story of a once in a lifetime journey and incredible music... well done!
Wow! A dream for most photographers! Congratulations🎉
What a gem. Thank you for sharing this. What an inspiration
My daughter recently purchased a film camera at a yard sale and that caused me to pull my film camera out of the dust bin so we could take pictures together on a recent visit. I loved taking pictures with her and how we would discuss the most creative photo options. She is a sophomore at Fordham University and the Bronx campus has many photo opportunities.
Two years ago, we took the same trip to Peru you just documented in this video. We literally went to every site you went to but for your climb at Machu Picchu. I now wish my daughter had taken up photography before that trip because we missed so many photo opportunities.
This video was very inspiring to me and I am going to share it with my daughter. Great work!!!
This is onsane
Truly, you deserve that, you are an AMAZING photographer and i am soooooo inspired by your work !!!!
Amd seeing niles, caleb, joshua, all the moment family gave me chills 🤧

Incredible opportunity, so proud of ya Taylor! Also the colours from the GFX50S II are actually ridiculous 😮💨
your videos always bring out so many strong emotions I love it. always keeping me stunned. huge milestone, conrats Tay:)
Just returned from 2 weeks in Peru and I have to agree, the colors are spectacular.
THE GOAT DOING GOAT THINGS!!!! BEEN SAYING IT SINCE DAY ONE, YOU ARE THE GREATEST HANDS DOWN! CONGRATS! :)
It makes me remember my last Peru trip. Awesome video, thanks for sharing it with us.
Someday, a video about how you started and progressed in photography would be awesome
Awesome landscape and scenery, perfectly portrayed! Love from Germany 🤗
Loved the images and the story (seems you're a good writer, too!). You knocked it out of the box again!
Huayna Picchu is probably the biggest hidden gem in all of Machu Picchu. Getting to the gate at 7:00 am and taking that crazy hike up the mountain gives the best reward ever. The views of Machu Picchu from the top are just stunning. It's also a view of Machu Picchu that most visitors will never get to see, except in photos. I'm so glad I made that hike when I visited in 2011.
Really Beautiful! I am so happy you posted this experience.
wowowow, you reaally deserve this! keep up the great work, you are truly an inspiration :)
Climbing those stairs with those gears. Wow!! But for National Geographic i'd say that's worth it. Well done you and the Sunny Sixteen team.
Such an amazing opportunity and some really beautiful visuals!
I remember eagerly waiting for the latest Nat geo magazines to arrive at a small newspaper stand + book store that was in my local train station. The imagery and stories totally inspired and influenced my worldview!
what an amazing photo that you really take, really love your shoot. nice !!!
Congrats for such a great experience!! Great video and music!!

Great video as always and the storytelling here is top tier!
What an amazing experience, love the images! Best video yet!
what an amazing experience you have shared with us. thank you~
I think the content and story-telling is even better than the photography! :-) I've been to Machu Picchu and Peru - it is so special! Thanks for sharing!
Wow, so these dreams of photographing for NG do come true. Great storytelling and photos. Having watched this, I immediately went to my bookcase to find Robert Frank's "Peru" book. Easily one of my favourites, and your video reminded me that I have it.
Thanks...Wonderful! This was a dream job of mine years ago. Still is. Plus James, much love and respect. ❤

Congrats to make it to National Geographic, you are now part of a very elite group of professionals. 🎉
Literally my dream to go there and take some pics and videos. Thank your for making this video, its very inspirational..
What an amazing experience and on top of it all you’re a Fuji shooter 📷
Thank you for sharing.Ive never been to Peru but Ive been to Bolivia ,Amazon & Guatemala in 1996 as a amateur photographer it was amazing 💞📸🌿
I love how usually one gets disappointed when repeatedly seeing the same pictures of the popular sites but I need to say that not a single picture I saw in this video from you disappointed me and not a single one of those Machu Pichu pictures have I ever seen before. It is such a skill to even in a well perceived environment like this one find the beauty in the details none of the many people visiting had captured before. I am shaken by your talent and am happy you got this opportunity! :)
Awesome! great story telling with some really nice shots in there!
Hello Ms. Graincheck! I dont know your name yet, bc this is the first video I saw from your channel. Just wanna say that it was AMAZING to watch you tell your experience, no motion graphics, no crazy zoom or fast cut to keep the audience. Literally just someone telling a story. This showed me that we can still keep our own styles and we dont need to do everything "for the algorithim". Congrats, you are amazing.
*and now I'll go check your channel and discover your name haha
First time to watch it. Woah! Time not wasted... I really love the photos, so great!!! 🥰💯
How have I never come across your channel before?? Your photos are amazing and the fact that you use Fuji and got to shoot for NG inspires me to keep at it with my xt4
What an amazing experience and beautiful moment the little one.
