The tune on my 2018 from the factory is different it puts power down better than how you described it. The earlier models have this issue from what I’ve read.

I have a 2015 m4 and I never see the traction control light on, also I haven't had any issues with the car not feeling planted. I agree with redfeild0009. It sounds like your suspension or alignment isn't set up correctly. What car did you have before the m3 ? The storage in my m4 is pretty much standard for most cars.

He just a kid who's looking for attention after he messed up a good car and he don't wanna admit it, so now he is looking for excuses and someone to back him up in his mess dude.

I have a 2016 stage 2 F82 M4 and i have traction issues from the line, but is very planted on the highway and the storage is enough for a sports cars
Maybe you need check your alignment and code the steering wheel to the CS setup!
    Cheers from Chile!

Thanks for watching, do you think it could have something to do with the negative camber?

    • @metalprix4601
      @metalprix4601 2 роки тому

@@MilesBishop1 i dont think so! M3/M4 dont have camber plates from factory, I upgrade my suspension with Bilstein B6 with eibach pro kit springs, the car is amazing now without the compromise in comfort of track coilovers suspensions. Although i never had problems on the highway with stock suspension

You say you have a lot of negative camber on all wheels, so that's why you car can't put the power down. Camber only helps for driving high speed corners. That's also the reason why you car wiggles around at high speeds.

Something is wrong with your car. I got an F80 a month ago. 2018 comp same color as yours. Traction control has never gone off around corners or turns and I've no issues with putting the power down.
The car stays straight just fine down the highway too, but I'm not lowered. Sounds like someone ruined the car and then sold it to you.

He's stupid, he messed up the car the suspension without doing any research now he's complaining 🤷🏾‍♂️

Well your car is 7 years old. A lot can happen in 7 years. The constant activation of the traction control is definitely not normal. It could be as simple as old tires or a bad wheel sensor, or it could be a more extensive powertrain problem. My 2017 M3 Competition, slightly tuned to about 480 hp, will rarely spin the rear tires even with traction control on, but not often. In normal driving my car has nothing resembling the problem you're experiencing. Same with the poor straight line tracking. My car is low miles and has never been damaged. The tires are good. It tracks pretty well, though BMW did lose some of the steering feel when they went to electric power steering in 2013 or so. My car does not wander in the lane and is not sensitive to cross winds. When I purchased the car, I felt that the steering was OK, but not as good as older BMWs I had owned. I improved the front end steering feel and responsiveness by adding a BMW Motorsport front splitter, and by widening the front track with 12mm spacers. With those modifications, I'm very happy with the handling, steering feel, and stability of the car.

Based on what I’ve read and heard I think it has something to do with the aggressive camber done on the wheels. It makes the car less drives me at higher highway speeds. Thanks for the input I greatly appreciate it

Storage: On top of your left knee you have a deep storage compartment for your wallet and sunglasses, 2: the middle compartment is for your phone and next to it goes your key fob if you can't keep it in your pocket for whatever the excuse you have, no the car is designed for safety you don't need your phone out while driving a high performance car, that's why you have the infotainment system, 3: why you need a bunch of junk in your car dude🤷🏾‍♂️ 4: No! You don't like the car if it was the case you would of take your time to understand the mentality behind the design dude. Just sale it go buy a Benz or an Audi cause it's clear you don't know how to appreciate what makes a BMW a BMW.

SMH You messed up the car and now you are complaining about it things you should know before you F up a BMW is that it's call the ultimate machine for a reason, the M3 badge means it was well tunned for the streets and track, No! Any car in it's class handles better than an M3 or M4! At last do your research before you film a video like this so you don't look like an idiot again. I'm sorry for being rude, do yourself a favor put back the oem suspension and buy better tires cause you tunned it.

Hey man thanks for your feedback, I bought the car this way. It’s my first sports car, I’m learning as I go. I did a ton of research before buying.

@@MilesBishop1 if you can't bring it back the way it was KW suspension will help and get it align at a bmw dealership because they have to put some weight in it so they can properly align it, and better tires so you don't get this issues anymore with the traction control.

The last owner probably sold it because of the suspension issues. People need to stop modding these cars unless very well done.
