- So... I recorded this in HDR on my iPhone 16 Pro Max, directly to external storage. Editing was a pain. Premiere didn't like the footage at all. Probably won't use my iPhone to record HDR. The ending got a bit weird because I was using the 1tb nvme that came with my Steam Deck, and the write speed wasn't as good as my smaller NVME. So it gets a little "skippy", like frame by frame at some parts. Not bad enough to delete the video, but whatever.
Why use Google when you have so many Apple devices. So why not Apple TV?
@@popculture3394 my life isn’t all apple. I carry a pixel phone every day. I like some things about google better, and some things about apple better.

Definitely more fluid than the Chromecast with Google TV. Disappointed it doesn't have Wi-Fi 6 or 6e. Had to set it up manly as the crappy Google Home app never works properly during setup.

It would have cost them pennies to add another USB Port or Micro SD Card slot at the back. Would then be perfect for watching videos and viewing photos
That's true. Since at the end of the day, it is an android device. Use network man. Like setup a server or plex server and have access to everything.

@@M41NFR4M3Gaming biggest problem was the NVME. I need a fast 2TB nvme or external ssd like the T7. My phone literally told me that drive was slow when I stopped recording the second longer clip. That’s why it got a bit choppy at the end.

If u Google/Android/ YTTV user like me, this is MUST HAVE🔥, i have alots streaming services 2, Netflix/Paramount +/Disney+ & HULU, Prime , MAX, Apple TV , AMC+ YTTV & YT, Premium for 4 years now & almost a decade ON YTTV, MGM+ Off & on ..ya is alot
It's so much more responsive than any other Chromecast!! Stuff loads very quickly. I love it so far. Plus the ability to find the remote when it falls into the couch cushions... Priceless
Coworkers want one but they're back-ordered for at least a month
How do you find it compared to your previous Chromecast? Is it worth the upgrade?

The new Roku Ultra is so much better than this thing for the same price. It has a much better backlit remote that’s rechargeable via USB-C, a faster processor and it includes an HDMI cable. This thing is packing a 2 year old processor that can be found in an old Fire Stick. It’s a huge rip off from Google.

Hey, can you jump between open apps like on the nvidia shield (pressing home twice brings up a list of apps and is easy to jump between ) when I watch a UA-cam video on this, go to Netflix and then back to UA-cam, the video I was watching slows to a crawl with no audio

Very convenient, Josh. I may have to buy one as well. Since I've had a few chrome cast devices fir a while. It seems like this is zippy, due to its revised processor. Thanks for making a video on it.
@@Kiss__Kiss it is much more responsive. The goal is to use it instead of the built in smart tv. I LOVE the find remote feature. It’s awesome.
How to setup with the logitech harmony elite remote with hub
If your TV has a certain setting (I forget what it is), you can use your TV Remote to control the Streamer. I can do it on my Sony TV with the older ‘Chromecast with Google TV’
