@@ShaneSymonds Is the slim keyboard the one that doesn't have a touchpad? The version that does us very expensive, and would drive my total cost for a maxed out S19U to the moon. I'll just use a bluetooth keyboard I have. The AI button isa sales gimmick. A control key would do the same thing with one more click.
Samsung isn't making enough noise about the anti-reflective screen. It's such a game changer on the S24Ultra, because it significantly improves the viewing experience regardless of the lighting setting. It was the feature that made me upgrade from the S22Ultra, because after all, the screen is the primary interface through which you interact with your phone. Good that it's making its way onto tablets because the large screen will benefit greatly from it.
The coating means a smudgy, greasy screen, and I am not sold on it, especially since I use my Ultra 100% at home. It would not be a positive for me and I see no reason to upgrade from the Tab S8 Ultra.
@@ShaneSymonds I was hoping that the tech had improved and we could buy a tempered glass anti-smudge protector that maintains the antiglare coating. But I have not seen any yet; it's just the awful rubber protector that is even worse for smudging.
Mine, too. But I am really tempted. I work in the garden 6 months a year and use S8 Ultra also as the second screen. Since I switched to Galaxy Book4 Edge which also has this anti-reflective screen, I see the difference literally every second.

The AI features will be made available for the S9 and maybe the S8.The AI button on the keyboard is just a sales gimmick. A control key would work very nearly as well. The anti-glare is a big deal if you like to use your tablet outside, like in a park.

Upgraded from my S7+ 512 GB to an S10 Ultra 1 TB. I've been contemplating upgrading my tablet for a few years since the S8 Ultra launched but never pulled the trigger because i don't use my tablet that much except for watching videos and doing some light office/productivity work. But i finally pulled the trigger and im reasonably happy with it in the hour or so I've used it.
1. Is the anti-reflection on the tab is the same level as the s24 ultra or lower? 2. Is the front glass used on the tab the same gorilla glass armor as the s24 ultra or other glass?
Lumafusion - I used to edit on an iPad then switched once android support came out and Final Cut Pro - for my main editing these days since I film with iPhone 13 Pro & edit on a Mac

Why does this tablet not have cellular connectivity like the iPad?? I have it on my 2018 iPad Pro, but don’t have it on my Galaxy Tab S7+, and it makes a big difference. I wish this had cellular connectivity! I want one.

After watching 5 of these s10 Ultra Tablet videos i can say my s9 Ultra is still better if not equal to this. They haven't added ANYTHING worth upgrading for, I've had my s9 Ultra since February... no need to upgrade in less then a 9 month period. This project is for new buyers for Samsung Tablets. I would even say owners of an s8 Ultra don't need to upgrade yet. My s9 Ultra is on U.I. 6.1.1 is snappy and fast and is better then my iPad Pro M2, and I would bet it is better then the M4... by far....
Only major difference is the battery life. My S8 Ultra would get around 6 hours screen on time, S9 Ultra around 7-8, and S10 Ultra my first 2 battery cycles so far i got 8-9 hours

I've had my Tab S7+ since launch, it's been a wonderful Tablet for me but as someone who primarily uses it for Art and Media consumption (Netflix/Audiobooks/Manga) the ultra line with the Larger screen is really appealing, this one definitely doesn't seem like much of an upgrade from last year but I think this might finally be the year that I trade up
I got the S7+ too, and this one is very tempted me, even I use it for netflix, watch streams but that larger screen looks very cool. I think the bigger we get, the farther we get from handheld usability. Why not give tab S10 specs in a tab S6 size? I even thought the S7+ was too big so I've not upgraded because the tab S6 is still awesome.
I too am waiting for a detailed technical review, with numerical measurements. Anecdotal evidence is the S10 is faster than the S9, but we'll never know if a Qualcom Gen 4 would have been faster still.
I use multi tasking all the time and I want to know how the apps on the Android side handle resizing and do they often restart on resize? On my iPad, when I resize them, they just shrink/expand, but what about on Android? I've heard rumours that apps on Android side are not very well optimised for tablet layouts, so this is the main thing that is stopping me from giving a galaxy tab a try, since im looking for new tablet.
I have read about the features of s9 and s10 and they have very minimal differences... is it actually true... there are no major differences in both models in usage too?
I see there are some rumors that are not true. Turned out the Dimensity 9300+ chipset was true, but the two instead of one USB-C ports was not. I'm glad the expansion micro SD can now take another 500GB, up to 1.5 TB, over the 1 TB before. The anti-reflective screen is also a nice change. But, I think I'll wait with my Tab S9 Ultra to see what the Tab S11 Ultra might offer. The slightly better chipset performance is unexpected, but not compelling enough to trade-up yet.
Anti reflective display is a double edged thing...less reflections for less crispness...samsung should provide options for normal or anti reflective display so that customers can choose acc to their needs
They still have the Tab S9 Ultra on their website which is very similar to this S10 so if someone doesn't want the anti reflective then just get the S9. It should get some discounts which would make it the better buy if you don't care about anti reflective
Mainly high brightness all day and some use in the evening around 25%. 120hz refresh rate. You don’t have to jack up the brightness to full as much with the anti reflective display which is nice
My only concern is whether the mediatek chip is good in the long run? I currently have a tab s4 , which has gave me a good run for 6 years now , and I think it's about time to get an upgrade as it's starting to lag here and there. I have no do7bt the mediatek is a good chip , just wanted to know if it's durable in the long run?
Any info on the PWM frequency of the display? If the Tab S10 Ultra has 480hz PWM frequency (like the s24 lineup and the z fold 6), that would be reason enough to upgrade for me, at least at some point.
Hi Shane. Do you know how I can reduce the height of the taskbar? When I switch to gestures, the taskbar on my Tab S9 is ridiculously high and takes up a lot of screen space. Thx
10:31 I found that even the keyboard was connected but on screen keyboard showed up. Don't know whether a bug or connectivity issue for keyboard but should not be there👍
@@Metal_seer you have no idea which tablet is the best seller unless you can show me a source. There's other reasons such as cost. Tab S9 11 inch is still good and has snapdragon chip. Samsung could be experimenting with mediatek to see if people are interested in it. Huge loss will be made if Samsung made all 3 sizes and nobody buys because of mediatek dimensity chipset.

They don't even use the dimensity chips in their top of the line phones and if you go to the Samsung page to preorder the s10 they don't even advertise it's the dimensity chips for a reason.

I realized I’ve seen my reflection on the S8/9 Ultra nearly every time I used them. Completely gone now on the S10 Ultra. Very impressed

@@andyH_England I can confirm it's pretty smudgy and fingerprints are more prominent. Not noticeable when the screen is on though so not a huge deal.

This Tab S10 Ultra feels almost no upgrade aside from the anti-reflection display.

The problem with this tablet is that it is wifi only. That is a problem for people that want to say use it for a gps in their car with no wifi.
Yeah once again in US this year the 5G is reserved for the S10+. Samsung rep told me at an event that only 1 model is chosen to get 5G support.

Any info on the PWM frequency of the display? If the Tab S10 Ultra has 480hz PWM frequency (like the s24 lineup and the z fold 6), that would be reason enough to upgrade for me, at least at some point.

Hi Shane. Do you know how I can reduce the height of the taskbar? When I switch to gestures, the taskbar on my Tab S9 is ridiculously high and takes up a lot of screen space. Thx

@@Metal_seer you have no idea which tablet is the best seller unless you can show me a source. There's other reasons such as cost. Tab S9 11 inch is still good and has snapdragon chip. Samsung could be experimenting with mediatek to see if people are interested in it. Huge loss will be made if Samsung made all 3 sizes and nobody buys because of mediatek dimensity chipset.
@@jaydawg3031 I just tried to order a maxed out S10U in Moonstone Grey for $1619 and was told it is sold out. It appears the S10 is selling well, Mediatek chip notwithstanding.

@@TheTrulynice1412Pls don't, they downgraded the tech for Density 9300+. It means that the s8 ultra and s9 ultra are more powerful with snapdragon.
They don't even use the dimensity chips in their top of the line phones and if you go to the Samsung page to preorder the s10 they don't even advertise it's the dimensity chips for a reason.

It was sad that i was planning to get the Samsung Galaxy Tablet S9 Ultra and Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra but i heard that the Samsung Galaxy Tablet S10 Ultra is coming out in 2024 and Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is coming out 2025 so i decided to wait on it to see what kind of upgrade does it have since Samsung is already started to announce the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra design already but the design makes me feel skeptical how the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is gonna look when come out but as the same time i think it look okay

A fully loaded S10U with 16GB ram and 1TB memory can be as high as $1900, but most don't need that.
The price increase does not seem to justify the minor improvements made. I will continue using my current S8 Ultra.
