I live in Waycross, Ga (well Daytona Beach, FL currently) and love to see others interested in crazy metal fab projects like me..I'm 35 and dont have the knowledge to build half the stuff you do but one day I'm gonna get the tools to do it so I can learn..I sold my 2nd banshee a couple months ago but still have a nice 85 Honda 350X that I constantly dream of restoring but have only done small jobs like race clutch installs and bearing carrier replacements so my skills are minimal..keep it up tho I'm learning by watching you!!
I am really hoping this build has some serious susp. travel....like soak up whoops at 60 suspension. fingers crossed! also cant wait to see some paddles on this in the sand dunes.
Moto Mule That was very cool of you to help out this young builder by machining him them parts. I know he really appreciates it and you definitely saved him a sh*t load of money as well.
We took a highly moded CR500 with a paddle tire to Glamis one year, it was so funny to see the fear in some people's eyes after getting off the bike. 😂 This should be just as fun.
Can't wait to see her rip. She's gonna be a monster for sure. Make sure to give her a nice adjustable long travel suspension because that frame looks PERFECT for jumps.
For like the 20th time.. its so awesome to watch your skills develop your builds getting harder and harder i still remember your Walmart bicycle build and 2t scooter. This build here is next level more than just welding or tuning this takes engineering abilities coming up with the design.. great job keep it up
Loving this build!! You have an awesome gift of thinking outside the box, and your Fabrication skills are on point. Although I do have a suggestion, and I'm telling you this so that your less likely to be injured if an accident were to happen while riding Your Harness Bar is way too low. The Harness Bar needs to be no more than 10 degrees below the top of your Shoulders. The Shoulder Harnesses are designed to pull and hold you BACK into the seat, not to hold you down. Only the Lap belt should take most of the load of holding you down into the seat. Manufacturers such as Simpson, RJS, and Race Quip have diagrams and instructions on proper harness mounting positions and techniques. Keep doing what you do bro!!!
right on buddy really like this build seems to me you have more than caught up with the pack and got right back in the race looks to me like you have made your mark high on the leader board great workman also a big shout to the big man moto mule he is a real stand up guy that helps out a lot of tubers i hope to see a lot more out of him as well as you way to go fine job
Of all the karts, buggy’s, crosskarts, I like this design the best. Light weight and plenty of HP. I’m looking forward to seeing which shocks you go with? Nice build!
I looked them up and something for an RZR should work. I’m not sure what your experience or level of knowledge is regarding shocks and spring rates is, but buying them now without knowing what the kart will weigh when completed filled with fuel , you, riding gear ect. I’m a big fan of sport bikes and suspension is extremely important and I’ve spent a few year researching and learning about it. Suspension is the key to going fast safely. I’m not trying to tell you what to do, not even in the slightest. We can learn from other people, right? The total weight of your kart with you and all fluids in it is very important. Once you get the kart completed, you can place a scale preferably under each tire. This will tell you what your approximate spring rates you will need. Each spring rate has a specific valving for compression and rebound. If you Change spring rates, valving must change. You can do small adjustments with the weight/viscosity of the shock oil. With you in the kart and all fluids, the kart should have what’s called “rider sag” and that should be between 20 to 35% of the total wheel travel. Some people will use the actual shock rod for measuring. To make it easy, say you have 100” of travel. With you in the kart, the suspension should sag 25”. That should give you plenty for hitting bumps, but you need travel for when your wheels fall into a hole or some other depression. Anyways, if I can be of any help understanding shocks, let me know. I’m not a pro, but I have spent a lot of time learning about it. Again, this might just be the best kart design out there. The guy in the comments who stated the CR engine doesn’t have a counter balance is correct, it will vibrate and could possible fatigue welds. One suggestion you might want to consider is getting a CR 250 flywheel. It will help with the vibration and it also allows the engine to spin-up faster...better acceleration.
Great video and great workmanship. You are definitely using the best engine for the job👍 I know you have probably already worked it out but I hope the kick start has enough swing for a full kick from tdc. Can’t wait to see it running. Excellent job👍
"Assault Kart"? Nice! You sure have come a long way since the first video my Dad and I watched if yours, the muffler build on the red go-kart. Can't wait to see how this turns out!
Looks like it's going to be a fast one . Remember safety features . Like to make a suggestion. Take a day get you some 2x4 's and make you a work bench . It will help you a lote your build and physically .
Vasily, plz be careful when you go to try and start that BEAST of a motor,I had a widowmaker(yz490)and man let me tell you that thing could and will snap your leg if not careful, you're my favorite UA-cam channel and I don't want to hear that something bad happened to you so take care my brother from another mother!!!!
Mate it’s guna be a beast I just got back from an epic trip out bush you would love that track in this thing fast n flowing lots of creek crossings .cant wait to see u rip on it great vid as always bro cheers
Vasily Builds+ You wanna make sure the bar you will be attaching the harness to is as close to the holes in the seat where they go thru! I use to race sprint cars and once had the pin in my steering wheel break and the wheel came off mid corner, needless to say I went head on into the wall at roughly 60 and because the harness bar was located like you had this one here it allowed the seat to actually bend forward, was lucky because the steering shaft was only about an inch from my chest afterwards, when you put that bar just under the holes in the seat it doesn’t allow for any slack (yes even though they may seem right there is still room for slack if the bar and holes aren’t right by each other) and no give, it’s was amazing how much my aluminum racing seat gave in that situation, was pretty much the same seat u have here
Hmm I think you will need to put that harness bar a bit higher. Maybe a bit a fire wall would be good, keep you back bit cooler. Nice build so far!! Looking forward to seeing it run, let the 2 smokes keep ripping!!
You are super smart and very talented, however you are going to learn a lot from working with this particular engine. It will introduce you to many issues that you have not yet experienced. I look forward to the next video.
You are a damn good fabricator. I just see alot of going back to the drawing board as far as geometry and such. You're a smart guy though and I can't wait to see it.
I hope you get to make many more awesome videos in the future and that you have lots of fun with this kart, get a hans device to save your neck as this thing will be quick enough to give you whiplash.
Just a suggestion, get NHRA certification to build chassis. I like the look of your design, it's edgier then what others are putting out there. While staying simple and strong. I honestly think you should build a rail dragster, big block and a glide could get ya in to the 8.50 index with nos. Would be very John Milner.
Hello, I hope you all are doing well..... I have a request...... Please, do a classic VW build, type 1 beetle is my favorite....but there are others to choose from... Take care, stay safe and healthy
I apologize for the shorter than usual video. I have some longer videos coming your way, been working on something crazy in the background..
I think this is kinda crazy already 🤣🤙🏻
I live in Waycross, Ga (well Daytona Beach, FL currently) and love to see others interested in crazy metal fab projects like me..I'm 35 and dont have the knowledge to build half the stuff you do but one day I'm gonna get the tools to do it so I can learn..I sold my 2nd banshee a couple months ago but still have a nice 85 Honda 350X that I constantly dream of restoring but have only done small jobs like race clutch installs and bearing carrier replacements so my skills are minimal..keep it up tho I'm learning by watching you!!
I was like freaking out when you were cutting up the exhaust. Your sure that won’t hinder the performance?
We'll take whatever we can get, no need for apologies 🙂
I am really hoping this build has some serious susp. travel....like soak up whoops at 60 suspension. fingers crossed! also cant wait to see some paddles on this in the sand dunes.
Your videos are amazing, can’t wait til the cart is finished you should definitely try finding a set of paddles and go hit some dunes!
Thanks! I've located some dunes and plan on taking this there!
@@VasilyBuilds Are you gonna come to the albany dunes? If so i know some other offroad spots here in Albany ga
Can’t wait for the sound of that 500cc 2-stroke 🥰
These motors have legendary status and are super rare and expensive
Great build
Yeah, how the heck did you find the engine bro? That had to set you back by quite a few Benjamins!
I just hope he remembers the to put the other 2 nuts on the cylinder lol
Looking good! Can't wait to see how this turns out.
Looking awesome Vasily!!! Thanks for the shout out!!
no problem. let me know if you free up
Moto Mule That was very cool of you to help out this young builder by machining him them parts. I know he really appreciates it and you definitely saved him a sh*t load of money as well.
Moto mule you rock✌
It’s looking awesome 👍 I’m really enjoying seeing the notching and bending, it’s nice to see the extra details in the video.
Thanks for posting!
Such a clean build so far man. Everything is so nice and neat.
You're building so much more accurately now. Very impressive
U can really tell that you actually put thought and time into your builds
Hi , I would suggest more seat angle. And maybe adjustable.
(so if I ever meet you in person, you might let my drive this buggy) lol
👍😎🏁
We took a highly moded CR500 with a paddle tire to Glamis one year, it was so funny to see the fear in some people's eyes after getting off the bike. 😂 This should be just as fun.
Awesome man! Big time inspiration for build series🙏😁
This build is coming along nicely! I can tell you're putting a lot of thought into it. 👍
Can't wait to see her rip. She's gonna be a monster for sure. Make sure to give her a nice adjustable long travel suspension because that frame looks PERFECT for jumps.
Can't wait to see this thing put in work and I also can't wait to see what happening in the background!!
This guy builds his karts alone yet produces awesome results.
I’ve been waiting so long
So glad to see you're rolling right along on this.
For like the 20th time.. its so awesome to watch your skills develop your builds getting harder and harder i still remember your Walmart bicycle build and 2t scooter. This is going to be awesome 👍✌️
This thing will be nuts!

The gearbox will be challenging. Pipe as well. The suspension geometry aint no easy task.
Отличная работа Василий, не могу дождаться готового продукта

I hear ya. What about a drag bike to go in the 8's??
Coming along nicely man 👌🏼
