@@Guylene325 well thank you! That made me feel so good and much needed. This adjuster I had on my insurance on the accident was just a nasty mean cold person. Evil. You’ll be very disappointed when you get this one. With the accident the paper I needed was in the car and they refused to give me anything. Even the grocery I bought! But good news! I have a very special card I’m going to make just for you. It’ll be a surprise and I really hope it turns out as beautiful as I’m thinking. So that I hope makes up for no handmade card at Christmas. I miss my stamp room. So long I’m a little scared I’ll go blank. But hoping to get down there this week. I’ll have to start car shopping soon and on disability idk how I’m going to get a good car. But yep! I do have that on my schedule to make you a special card. For a special lady and friend!

Merry Christmas! Lucas is so adorable! When the kids were little they acquired enough hot wheels track & city pieces to cover half the basement. 7 kids. It didn't take but a couple yrs. Lol.

Question: a little before the 15 minute mark, you stamped with gel, then brushed a powder on but you didn’t cure the gel stamp in UV. The stamp didn’t smudge. I thought the gel stayed wet until cured by UV. Newbie here
I cured it, that part got cut. But I say it's no wipe so you can cure then put your pigment over. That's why the base is a matte.

Merry Christmas, Guylene! I tried stamping with stamping gel, but just didn't like it as much as stamping with regular polish. Plus, I just wasn't comfortable with having uncured gel everywhere.
I'm a mess maker, so that is a problem.

Wow, I had no idea gel beaded up that bad on silicone. I wonder if you mix a little clear acrylic into the gel before stamping with it, if that would help? I have no idea really
It makes it kind of gritty, and scratchy when scrapping.
@@Guylene325 Yeah, that doesn’t sound pleasant. I’d worry it would scratch the plate if it felt gritty. Seems so much easier to just stick with regular stamping polish.
That's what i think, sticky stamping polish makes it all easier.

I find that stamping isn’t an issue with air dry stamping polish. My issue is the gel topcoat pitting over the stamp. (I only use MG products ). Have you found a specific stamping polish that works best with MG?
MG top coat. You need to wipe the sticky layer off before you stamp, then top coat. You can do two topcoats if it pits.

Yes, I had some in tubes but it was so streaky and stinky I tossed them.

Why not try stamping with gel polishes that are made for stamping instead of using a regular gel polish. I recently started using gel stamping polishes which as I said are specifically made for stamping and that worked fine it doesn't pull away on the stamper the way regular gel would. You should give it a try.

Yes you did! 😉
Most eyeshadiws and mika powders work. I usually just test on a swatch stick to see before full on committing.
