LTD Arrow for sure. From a functionality point - 24 frets, proper heel joint, Floyd Rose, and active pickups. For aesthetics, it’s the only offset V. I’m a die hard Jackson RR fan so aesthetically this is the closest to tick that box for looks.
Schecter. Best QA in the business. Matte black isn't my favorite aesthetic, and I do like a Floyd, but if you only get one, I'd trust Schecter any day of the week.
Arrow is cool, but my favorite V of all time is Alexi laiho's signature. Even though it's only got one pickup, it's the best playing and best sounding(for metal) guitar I've played by far. Scalloped frets should be mandatory on all guitars from frets 19-24. Not to mention the pin striping just looks so God damn cool
Out of these definitely the LTD. But my favorites would have to be the ones from the breaking the law music video by Priest. The cherry one looks stellar and the backwards one always makes me laugh. Awesome video dude.
My favourite V, 1 i currently own. Is my Cort VX-2V. Out of those 1's, I'd have to go with the Schecter. They've been in my top 3 favourite guitar makers for well over a decade
His old esp v is highly underrated and smokes every other model. I have his old Jackson model which I personally think is the best but the esp is amazing. He didn't play them long.
Of those, the Arrow for sure, that color is absolutely sick. One that's not on the list but I love is the Epiphone Prophecy V, just because I love the original G headstock
Shit brother. Everything looks nice, but ima definitely pick that purple Ltd, that thing looks sick, and I heard they sound pristine, rock on, as always brother!
@@davidmcaninch4714 I think, it is okay. He just points out the quality-issues and the high prices all the time. And he is right. But there are good used Gibson Flying V's with new frets. It depends. I mean, every Guitar can be good or bad. But Gibson in particular needs to solve the quality problems and the high prices. The new headstocks of the epiphones were a good start. But why can't they use the exactly Gibson headstocks for every Epiphone. I mean I would rather buy three Epiphone Les Pauls or SGs with the original shape of the Gibdon-headstock. Sometimes I think they do not live in 2020s, they live in the paßt. ...And Glenn almost right from his music engineer perspective. I think, he has a higher distance to many topics focusing on the mixes and songs-results at the end. As a player I often have to less distance to gear. It is a dopamine-hunt. Searching for better gear, woods, pickups and so on. The dopamine-hunt is getting it's peak with higher prices, rare gear, limited gear, details and so on. But every (wo)man needs a hobby.
I'll take my Jackson RR1 or even my RR3 with the Duncan Invaders I have. Most had Detonators, which I've never heard, but my rare V with factory Invaders is fucking KILLER!
How would I know? I've tried none of these specific guitars you're holding in your hands. I don't know how they sound, the thickness and shape of the neck, the upper fret accessibility, etc, etc. So, judging only by their looks, I'd take the LTD.
My 1996 Jackson Pro KV1. To this day it's still my main stage guitar, and the only mods I made were to change the tuners (the old ones were missing pieces due to my stupidity) and a new bridge pickup, as the old Jackson humbucker was just too old and lost too much of itself. Now it has a nice evil Nazgul. I would love to have the Solar Cannibalismo, I tried to order one, but my guitar delivery kept getting pushed back my months, so I gave up the ghost.
Jackson King V. All Ferrari Red, Floyd, all black mechanics, white binding on ebony fretboard, neck through design. My dream guitar. I mean, I really dream of it.
Glenn you HAVE to try a Jackson king V And while you’re at it get on reverb and try to get your hands on an ESP Edwards e-fv-120d, hands down the best Flying V I’ve ever owned
I would pick the custom because as custom guitars go well you could customize them and get what you want to fit your needs and not somebody else’s… Keep on rockin
I'd probably go for the Vicious. It looks gorgeous. ...hey Glen, seeing as how tone is largely defined by the speaker & cab, can I run the emulated line output from my Marshall MG15 (practice amp) into a 2x12 speaker cab and expect good results? Do they build the extension cabs w power transformers in them?
Ihave never heard of vicious guitars 🎸 wow very nice, my Alexi Lahio Greeny LTD V is a solid guitar bought new special ordered in 2018.I had the fret board pleked by Sweetwater smooth as glass fret board 😀
LTD Arrow for sure. From a functionality point - 24 frets, proper heel joint, Floyd Rose, and active pickups. For aesthetics, it’s the only offset V. I’m a die hard Jackson RR fan so aesthetically this is the closest to tick that box for looks.
This through and through
Offset Vs are the best looking
The evertune loaded arrow is nasty
This one without a second thought
The ltd arrow 1000's also have stainless steel frets I don't really know about the rest but I know the E-ii versions made in Japan don't have them
That custom looks sick!! Probably gonna have to grab that Solar
My thoughts exactly -love the simplicity of the custom, but will have to go with the Solar.
Schecter. Best QA in the business. Matte black isn't my favorite aesthetic, and I do like a Floyd, but if you only get one, I'd trust Schecter any day of the week.
I'm always happy to see Jackson RR on stage... I would go to any young band gig if they state that they are gonna use RR...
You just can't go wrong with that LTD - Arrow
Most comfortable V I’ve ever played, you just can’t beat the ESP/LTD neck shape
I know right
The Evil Twin for sure, sick paint and shine, and the Fishman Fluence, just perfect
I've got an Evil Twin E1 (Explorer) with the same setup Fishman Moderns, etc. and it. Fucking. SLAYS.
I'd have to go with the schecter - anything with roman numeral inlays and I'm sold 😂
The one of the kind, that V looks so unique and sick!
Out of the group mentioned, the Ltd 👍. However, my personal favorite is a Jackson RR24 Pro.
MY GUY, RIGHT HERE.
My favourites are my classic V shaped Dean V´s.
I still play the Jackson King V, on stage, in studio, or practice it’s always just fit
Same
My man from Vicious knows his V’s, no other option for me!
BOOM
Epiphone Prophecy V , hands down!!!!
Probably the LTD. Best upper fret access.
That vicious is absolutely stunning!
Either the viscous or maybe the solo but first choice is viscous! She's a beauty!!
For me the schecter, just love their guitars at any price point. Absolutely lovely to play imo so I‘d choose that for playability alone.
The vicious looks sick and solid, no clue what pickup it has but I'd trust the process. For a safer bet I'd go for the shecter.
Would’ve said a King V, but from these, it’s gotta be the Solar
Oh damn if the option for Jimi Hendrix’s v was available I would choose that over all of these
Fr
That red solar looks great! But Dave's epiphone is epic!
That Vicious is pretty sweet ❤
VICIOUS!! 🔥😈🔥
I own a Vicious KAGE and have a second one being built now! It’s BY FAR my favourite guitar in my studio. 🤘🏻
Imma choose Laiho signature
absolutely in love with the Schecter
The custom v for sure. I’m a fixed bridge guy through and through.
Arrow just built different.
It's one of the best looking guitar ever.
The vicious guitars V, Schecter or LTD a close second
A Dean Lawsuit V would be sick!!! I really like the Christian Martucci white one! Classic and modern at the same time
The Ltd arrow just does it for me. Cheers from chatham, Glenn!
Fuck your rules Glen, I’ll take them all
Out of these definitely the LTD. But my favorites would have to be the ones from the breaking the law music video by Priest. The cherry one looks stellar and the backwards one always makes me laugh. Awesome video dude.
either the solar or the custom, depends on what i’m playing 👀
Arrow, nothing else, EMG’s paired with a Floyd Rose and 24 frets.
My favourite V, 1 i currently own. Is my Cort VX-2V.
Out of those 1's, I'd have to go with the Schecter. They've been in my top 3 favourite guitar makers for well over a decade
The arrow looks so sick
My first choice would be the schecter but only because I wouldn't dare take that sweet custom on stage.
Built like a tank
@@viciousguitars7966 Oh I'm not questioning the craftsmanship, guitar looks absolutely solid! It's more that the crowds here throw with beer.
My 1994 Jackson RR concept. Amazing guitar for the price!
I'll take the Gibson Mustaine V so i can smash it after the show if it doesn't already fall apart during it.
I'm a Jackson King V Pro. It has never let me down.
Definitely the Mustain one, I’ve wanted that one for a while. Something about the V with the Explorer headset is just so appealing
His old esp v is highly underrated and smokes every other model. I have his old Jackson model which I personally think is the best but the esp is amazing. He didn't play them long.
I like the mustaine look most
Schecter for sure! Closely followed up by the Epiphone (may just need to add a bit of foam to stop that harp that is the bridge!)
Would love to have the Schecter Evil Twin V. Though I cannot afford it T_T. Awesome guitars you have sir.
The Gibson mustaine v is obviously the best one
Of those, the Arrow for sure, that color is absolutely sick. One that's not on the list but I love is the Epiphone Prophecy V, just because I love the original G headstock
Probably the LTD for the Floyd!
Shit brother. Everything looks nice, but ima definitely pick that purple Ltd, that thing looks sick, and I heard they sound pristine, rock on, as always brother!
That custom burl is stunning
Yes! My man!
@@viciousguitars7966 Beautiful work! Kia ora from New Zealand
The Solar (Red and Black) one would be my weapon of choice. That guitar looks so damn dangerous and I love it!
I've wanted a Schecter V for 10+ years. And the Evil Twin is calling my name.
That schechter looks beatiful 🤩
My favourite V is my Epiphone Flying V (Faulkner Custom)
LTD arrow every day. I'm addict to floyd rose guitars
Gibson V or Episode Flying V . The Prophecy ones have an amazing painting and good quality.
Don’t you know the law of Spectre Sound Studios? You’re not allowed to mention Gibson at all.
@@davidmcaninch4714 I think, it is okay. He just points out the quality-issues and the high prices all the time. And he is right. But there are good used Gibson Flying V's with new frets. It depends. Ltd better quality control but the Schecter and Viscous are both so close I would cry tears of joy if I got any of the 3.
I'll take my Jackson RR1 or even my RR3 with the Duncan Invaders I have. Most had Detonators, which I've never heard, but my rare V with factory Invaders is fucking KILLER!
Its between the solar and the ltd arrow for me
I would grab solar 😁
The Dean Schenker!
That custom would be what I go with. It's a hardtail with wider string spacing on a classic style V shape. Best of both modern and classic designs.
That evil twin lookin mighty fine 🤙🤙
The solar for sure
That custom from Bishop looks incredible
It’s Vicious.
I would go with the Epi Mustaine but I need a Floyd for live, so it has to be the ESP
The one you’re holding is unreal, like actually
One of V kind is the nVme of the gVme
My favorite is the reverse flying V, mainly because it looks like a mouse cursor.
The canibalismo, I'm a sucker for red Vs.
Isn't there's a red LTD, though?
Gotta go Arrow. V needs a whammy bar. 🤘
How would I know? I've tried none of these specific guitars you're holding in your hands. I don't know how they sound, the thickness and shape of the neck, the upper fret accessibility, etc, etc. So, judging only by their looks, I'd take the LTD.
I would definitely go with the Vicious V
Why not!
Love the classic look of the mustain v
My 1996 Jackson Pro KV1. Can't go wrong with an LTD, but gotta admit, the Epiphone and the custom V both look killer
I'd go for that Jackson!!
Jackson King V. All Ferrari Red, Floyd, all black mechanics, white binding on ebony fretboard, neck through design. My dream guitar. I mean, I really dream of it.
LTD arrow for sure
I know it's not in the group, but a 58 Gibson Korina with the pickups wired out of phase in the middle is my dream V
Last One, as its the closest to my Arrow black metal.
Glenn you HAVE to try a Jackson king V
And while you’re at it get on reverb and try to get your hands on an ESP Edwards e-fv-120d, hands down the best Flying V I’ve ever owned
Didn't you demo a V from an Eastern European company that was made from compressed paper? That was my favorite guitar ever.
The last one is beautiful
The purple Ltd or that solar
Schecter Evil Twin
LTD arrow because the floyd, plus it looks aggressive as fuck lol
Of all of those, the Arrow is my pick. Looks gorgeous.
I love my Solar V so I’m gonna have to go with that! Especially since that’s the only guitar of this lineup of Vs I’ve actually played before.
They all look great, but the Epi for me. It's the only one with a volume knob for each pickup, and I use that a TON when playing live
Schecter has never let me down
Definitely the all black Dave guitar
Ihave never heard of vicious guitars 🎸 wow very nice, my Alexi Lahio Greeny LTD V is a solid guitar bought new special ordered in 2018.I had the fret board pleked by Sweetwater smooth as glass fret board 😀
You heVrd about it here!
The Solar looks great.
LTD arrow for me. ... Like an offset.
I’m usually bad at making decisions, but this one was easy. Absolutely thecustom vicious
For me definitely the red Solar beauty!! 🤟
That custom or the Schecter 🔥
The LTD Arrow's got it all
No Doubts
