What about when I charge the battery then push the on button then it goes on and off real quick then I have to let it sit for 30 minutes then does it again
I have a Kugoo G3 , I have put about 170 miles on it and I have only had it for 3 weeks and it has done this twice, super weird. Emailed them and of course haven’t heard back yet, I do live in Florida and I store it in my HOT garage and will go a few days without riding until I ride again, I think it’s either a defective battery or it’s getting so damn hot sitting in my garage idkkkkkk helpppppp
I am going through this right now. I reached out to the manufacturer to see if they’ll sell me a new battery. I don’t want to have to go through a third party. But great info. I knew it was the battery but couldn’t understand why. This makes perfect sense given the fact that I ran my scooter about 25 miles 5 days per week for about 3 months straight. I put it away for the winter and pulled it back out recently and got two good weeks of riding it (only about 5 miles per ride this time) before it was finished.
Good info. just received the Eskute 10ah version and will keep an eye on the volts but so far so good. Do you know the trick to remove the speed limit on these?
After I watched this video, I replaced the battery, but nothing changed. So, I had batery with 7.5 Ah amd 36v, and I bought a new one with 100 Ah and 36 v, and same thing happened - it kept shuting down after 10-12 km of driving. How is that?
7.5 AH is nowhere big enough for your scooter and would immediately set off the safety chip and turn it off. The 36V 100 AH is perfect but probably has a damaged battery cell. Normally they link 10 to 15 cheap batteries together and then get two or three of those packs and solder them together. If one battery is bad it means that whole group is not being utilized. Or Your motor is not strong enough for your weight and it is triggering the safety chip. Or the Motor has a short. I’m so sorry that you are having so many problems. That Sucks!
Bought a used mototec thor, the front and rear wheel both have motors and both pull, but after a while maybe 20 mins, the rear one gets hot and shuts down for a few minutes but the front one still pulls then a few minutes after stopping the rear works again. Is the motor faulty or could this still be a battery issue? If it was battery wouldnt both wheels stop pulling?

I wouldn't bother man. It's heavy. Get it fixed or get a non electrict scooter. I have two electric scooters, just in case on of them goes off, batteries runs out or whatever. Always it's the god damn battery. So I have other one to ride until the one I send gets fixed. I'm lucky as I have 3 years warranty but it takes 2 weeks for it to come back. I have a Kaabo wolf king GT with 1900 miles … the default low voltage setting is 58 volts (and it did work when I went on a long ride and couldn’t make it home) … fully charged reads like 82.8 volts, however now when I get down to 72 volts; it shuts off (even if I’m in eco mode going 4 mph - single engine - it shuts off) … I recently replaced the stepdown transformer because it was cutting off when full power was applied sometimes - after replacing this step down transformer, I saw an immediate improvement is response (power getting to the wheels) … the battery is $1,000 😮

Do you know why a front motor would run at a lower RPM than the back? My battery is still pretty new at 2100 miles and the back motor is running normally.
What's up with the 20 minute wait til it turns back on? And at first it was only when I hit small bumps but now I cant even it us really, unless I wanna push it back from my destination... if I even make it there

I have a 42 volt battery and I checked it with a voltmeter, it was 42 volts when fully charged but it also shuts of very frequently, it is an old battery so would I need to replace it?
He is right as such but when you increase the weight IE. Heavier person it increases the resistance needed. The volts will be the same on the output . More resistance = more amps needed to drive the motor.
Hey this is happening to me, but im getting codes e6 and e10 I've done 2700miles on my scooter in about 10months ive had it and no problems, I took it apart everything fine , also when u lift the rear wheel and accelerate fine no problems , only when I ride it and it runs different times, sometimes 2mins somtimes 20mins and just suddenly cuts off, as soon as I connect to a charger it comes back on but I can't turn back on until I connect to a charger. My back mudguard came off 2 weeks ago and I cut the wire for the light and tapes the wire up? Could that be the issue , or do you think more than likely I will need to get a new battery, everything's seems to be working fine, I even turn the volts down to 36 (for error code 6) and it seemed to do all that the advice said it would do, (battery on screen went down then went back up) then I put it back to 48 volts. Seems very strange, but based on this video I'm guessing they're is a issue with my battery
I got my brand new Kaabo wolf king gtr pro in august this year! And i tought it would be one of "the best" scooters out there.... wrong!!! So they said i wil get a new one strait away, its 6 okt now and yesterday i was told it wil take another 25/30 days So within nearly 6 monthes i only drove my kaabo maybe around 4 rides and im still waiting to go on but its a shame for a scooter of that price range to have issues lije that 😮💨😮💨😮💨 i should've never bought it, instead by 2 regular once

Thanks for watching and posting! I wouldn’t be surprised, but you will have to either do some research on the web or find someone who knows quite a bit about electrical on these scooters.
I have a bird air and I literlaly have the same problem. I was going down a hill at 17 mph, braked, and all of a sudden my scooter glitched and the brake stopped working, and scooter never turned back on. Did you ever find a solution to your problem?
I bought a cheaper drill for work and half way through the job it died. The drill still worked as long as no load was applied. Yup, it was the crappy battery shutting down under load, lithium too.
How about it being outside during hot or cold weather can that damage your battery and voltage ? I have a Mototec 2000w fat tire scooter , and it was in my carport while I needed to change the rear tire and hub motor , then we had a lil heatwave and now it charges back up , but at like 1/3 battery left it just drains the rest out and shuts down . It also shit down on me 2 other times just like you described so guess it all just means I need a new battery .
I would imagine that extreme heat and cold would affect any battery and would definitely have an impact on its functionality! Thanks for watching and posting.
Amps are torque, volts are speed. I'd tell you all the other wrong information you said, but not enough time. My battery read 53.5 volts, usually the cutoff is 43v on my bike. Can I have these 5 minutes of my life back? Because did anyone actually not know this? God damn.
How ironic, this happened to me today, I had my FreeGoEV ES10 for 3 months, on the first day owning it, this happened and now again. The battery in this thing is cheap. I planned to change this month from American Electric Co. to an Samsung 21700 cell from this poor 18650. Thanks for the confirmation, I know now to change this battery.
This is the problem I'm having. I charge it and it comes on..Then I connect the app and it says it's charged but it shuts off and I have to connect the battery again..
You're a life saver. Literally explains my problem. I just received the 2023 unagi voyager. I am scruslly impressed..when it works. At first out Of box it ran fine for test up and down street. Then full charge... it wouldn't turn on at all. 7 hours later I tried it. It miraculously turned on, and I rode a mile, and the battery went from full to blinking red for a second, and it shut off. Won't turn back on again at all. Brand new scooter with 1 mile on it.
You should really try explaining the difference between volts and amps and not take it for granted that people know because they don't and also it's not a safety mechanism it's a limiter relay
Thanks for watching and posting! We had done quite a bit of research to be able to figure this one out, so unfortunately we can’t help you out with this one. However, you may find it either here on UA-cam or on the web.
All what ou have said it's true only replace the word VOLTS with Amps because if you test your battery you will find out it has full VOLTS but it has lost the capacity (AMPS) so when you draw more AMPS the VOLTS go low

What's up with the 20 minute wait til it turns back on? And at first it was only when I hit small bumps but now I cant even it us really, unless I wanna push it back from my destination... if I even make it there
I got that same problem with mine atm 🤔
@@andrewpaine2148 mine pretty much came that way and never got better. Was that way for about a year and Now it will go about a quarter mile maybe every time. I never hit a real answer as to what was up, I think it was just a defective battery from the start. Hope you have better luck!!
@2:59 good grief i get why! how do i fix it!
Is thier a easy fix ? Sorry I missed that bit !!!!
It basically ohm's law.
Hey great video I have learned so much from your video video thank you so much I'm getting vsett 8 hopefully I won't have any problem with the battery
Also on p settings should I turn the safety feature down (p15) ? My full comment below
My scooter suddenly turned off i dont know what to do i cant start it and it got full power
I got my brand new Kaabo wolf king gtr pro in august this year!
And i tought it would be one of "the best" scooters out there.... wrong!!! I enjoyed it for 2 charges and then the ERRORS started to come up 1 by 1....😖
My weight is 160 pounds
(+/- 80kg) and i only drove strait roads nothing crazy, and error after error! 🤨 it's F. Brand new??!! So after lots and lots of e-mails and sending video's about whats going on they said its due to a broken battery...😮 okay can happen right?! So they said i wil get a new one strait away, its 6 okt now and yesterday i was told it wil take another 25/30 days
So within nearly 6 monthes i only drove my kaabo maybe around 4 rides and im still waiting to go on but its a shame for a scooter of that price range to have issues lije that 😮💨😮💨😮💨 i should've never bought it, instead by 2 regular once
Thanks for the tip I have always wondered why my scooter turns off
Yes, mine, too.
Power was dead.
Got it 2 weeks ago and what sould i do?
I get what you're saying but everytime you day volts replace it with amps ... Then you will be correct
I am not heavy it just doesn’t work I have gyrocopter flash 3.0
You have amperage and voltage switched around brother.
Do you have any tips for me? My hiboy max three’s throttle stopped working and the taillights on the back keep flashing. The light works the scene is on everything just the throttle doesn’t work?
Thanks for watching and posting! Unfortunately I had to do a ton of research to find out about the battery. I wish I could offer you more help.
@@the.great.adventurers aww thank you but luckily I got it fixed! Appreciate it tho😁
@@astridhaze8467 so what did you do 🤔
@@astridhaze8467I have the same throttle problem how did you fix it?
Thank you ❤
I have a bird flex scooter that just shut off in the middle of riding and now won't turn on and the front wheel isn't spinning easily. Would it be a battery issue
@@sonoya8376 did you?
Did you solve this? It just happened to me two seconds out of the box. I can't find anything about it
@@sonoya8376did you figure yours out?
Hey dude thanks so much your info helped a lot....
Glad it helped!
Voltage sag due to current not being supplied by the defective cells.
Ima bigger guy 260 also but weight limit Spose to be 450 it’s got the fat tires . Never use to shut off for the first 2-3 months I owned it .
God damn.
Mat can you help me please
Give you whole Life to Jesus!!! ❤️❤️
Thank you for the explanation. I think it's time for me to buy my scooter a new battery. ☹️
Really glad that this helped you out! Thanks for watching and posting!
THANKS FOR THE HELP
what if it cuts off and the battery is good?
This is the problem I'm having. I charge it and it comes on..Then I connect the app and it says it's charged but it shuts off and I have to connect the battery again..
GREAT video!!
Verry nice rlly helped me fix my scooter
Ok how to fix the problem
You're a life saver. Literally explains my problem. I just received the 2023 unagi voyager. I am scruslly impressed..when it works. At first out Of box it ran fine for test up and down street. Then full charge... it wouldn't turn on at all. 7 hours later I tried it. It miraculously turned on, and I rode a mile, and the battery went from full to blinking red for a second, and it shut off. Won't turn back on again at all. Brand new scooter with 1 mile on it.
You should really try explaining the difference between volts and amps and not take it for granted that people know because they don't and also it's not a safety mechanism it's a limiter relay
this was informative thanks!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching and posting!
What about a 30e code ?
Thanks for watching and posting! We had done quite a bit of research to be able to figure this one out, so unfortunately we can’t help you out with this one. However, you may find it either here on UA-cam or on the web.
All what ou have said it's true only replace the word VOLTS with Amps because if you test your battery you will find out it has full VOLTS but it has lost the capacity (AMPS) so when you draw more AMPS the VOLTS go low
Can I explain u a story and u tell me if my scooter is good please
Yup. This just happened to me. I need to test my battery. It won’t even turn back on.
Idk I was just coming home from the shop and it was raining and it just turned off on me it never done it before each time I turn it on it turns of even tho I’m not on it and it can’t be water damage because I checked and every electric compartment was dry I have a turborant X7Pro
Thanks for watching and posting! We had to do a lot of research along with trial and error to be able to figure our issue out. It may take a little research on the web to figure out what happened.
I have X7 pro and recently have the same turn off issue after a raining. Have you fixed it? Thanks!
@Karmel_Rust, have you fixed the issue?
@@zefanli6981 well it had to sit for like a day for it to dry but each time is starts raining the water some how gets into it and it just turns off which is a pain in the hole so i just cant drive it in the rain
Thank you for sharing!
Is it dangerous if it just shuts off?
No not at all. It will just strand you if you are a distance from your destination. Thanks for watching.
Without knowing the reason for the forced shutdown it’s hard to say.. If you have a wire that’s shorting and causing the e-bike to shut down then absolutely is dangerous
You didnt how to fix it!! Basically stay away from drive thru🤔👍… very informative
Thanks thiswas super helpful
Glad it helped
My scooter slows down and I’m forever turning it of and on again 😑
More Volts. Got it🙏
Now Time to figure out how to change the battery
My turns red and only lets me go 7mile ph even I have 50 percent
Bro don't forget it has fuses when they explode the same thing happens
So you didn't fixed anything?
