Kick-to-start is a safety feature that's considered "not cool" by many, but most people are unaware that starting a scooter from a stand still is what drains the most energy from the battery.
I try and travel safe over light when I'm commuting at range + speed. So I often carry a camelback with the Apollo repair kit, a mini high capacity bike pump, a leatherman and a first aid kit. Idk it feels like the minimum.
@@TheGamingZombie101 how long did it take for you to get it? Total Shipping time ?I pre ordered the city pro and Idek when they are going to start shipping
Phantom V2 owner here. Amazing e-scooter. Would like to see a good video about maintaining hydraulic brakes. The only video on their website is 720p and very long and poorly done. Needs a quicker, closer shot video. Keep up the good work Apollo!
He said at about 80% but might have less range and then to charge to 100%! Its just a wonky statement I got confused for a minute till I understood what he meant!
I've only been riding less than a year with a commuter scooter I plan on upgrading and Apollo ghost is my next purchase.thanks for all the helpful knowledge.
I have had bad experiences with battery overheating in hot summer days even when I do my best to lock my scooter in a shaded area. when I go to ride it throttles my motors and this is never fun.
@@sQriLLah only the V1 had the keyed throttle. They changed the throttle between V1 and V2, therefore the current throttle is keyless. I believe the throttle is changing again with v3.
I found with my nine bot E? Keeping it from 20 to 40% and a cold basement is the perfect place but anywhere warm will drain the battery faster. And the higher percent when stored the more of the electricity will drill holes in your battery.
Hey there, Unfortunately not, as we do not sell or service these types of units! This seems like a copy of a Segway, so maybe this can help find the information you're looking for!
I found out the hard way DTE it under current conditions.. I was at home.. it said 33km left... I have a 11.1km commute to work... I made it 8km and it died. I had planned to charge it at work.. but had a 3km walk pushing the scooter, wearing full motorcycle gear (I also ride motorcycle, so why not use the same safety gear)in 25C weather.... that was fun. On the way home after a 7hour charge I noticed when stopped it said 40km left, but when moving it said 20km left. On a Phantom V2 anyhow..
@@wrong2h8 none so far, I only have 110km on it. I have smoked a few pretty decent potholes at top speed though. I want to order up some spare tube and tires. Mine with a 52V battery the charger light finally goes green at 58V.. which I don't think can be too good.
@@gold5th the final charge sill be higher than 52v. It's safe. The oroblem is the charger gets wayyyyyy too hot for my liking. But nobody has 14 hours to sit and babysit a charger to make sure it won't bur down your house.
@@gold5th problem is it needs to be fully charged and then SIT there so the BMS can balance the cells. This is done at full charge. If you partially charge you will have cell deviation. This is bad in the ling run.
I am confused about using one motor for slow distance travel on a dual motor scooter, when one motor die, do i use the next motor to finish the journey and will the battery level be full charge for that second motor @apolloscooters
both motors run on the same battery. Single motor usage typically consumes less power than dual, but they both come from the same power source. If it dies in single, it's dead in dual, too.
These aren't hacks - more commonsense tips (akin to "Before making/receiving a call and/or sending/receiving a text, make sure you have a phone" - wow, never thought of that!). Still practical though (albeit there's so much contradictory advise about 'proper' battery management/scooter storage......).
Good content but you should push the app as much as y’all do especially when they don’t work on your two most high end models I would assume most people have/ ride. I really wish I could lock my phantom through the app and utilize it properly
I apologize for the delays. They have been largely out of our control. However, the team and I completely understand your frustrations. We have been sending out emails with updated shipping dates. It’s not much longer! - Randy
Dude I would just get your money back and cancel the order... That's ridiculous to wait that long.. it sounds like they don't even know when you're going to be receiving your scooter

Would love to see a video on how to adjust hydraulic brakes and an indepth video on how to bleed the system if need be
The only thing I would add is checking tire pressure frequently

Glad we can share some useful information! You won't regret getting the Ghost, it's an absolute machine!
Thanks for the video, I enjoyed it!
My friend got the 2022 City Pro, and after I rode it I instantly loved it, will defiantly be buying the 2022 City Pro or 2023 if it comes out.

Adjustable handles… and larger base for a bigger battery to fit…
