Why is China a peaceful, happy, safe, prosperous country? Answer: no drugs, no pcorn, no guns, no gambling, no gangs, no hateful propaganda, no mainstream fake news media, no dirty lying politicians, no racists....
It just bc the Chinese gov did a best job such like " set up so many cctv every area to make sure it will be more safety while citizens going out. Plus citizens are trust and believed this way more safe for them. Living in China which you can able to walking alone by yourself at middle of the night in the dark area without worry about someone behind will rob you. Also if you leave your phone or labtop inside your car 100% noone will brake your care window and stole it. This the big different compare from the west.

The westerners should now realise China is a community with educated and disciplined citizens. Most important is China is a country based on community first so no one would do things that would bring the community into disrepute. That is why the citizens will keep the place clean, no graffiti and foreigners are well respected. It is a far cry from the selfish democracy where everyone is for oneself. There is nothing wrong with the democracy but there are alternatives that can be better too!
I think the main problem with Western democracies is that we just stopped trying to be better, thinking it is the peak. People can always improve, but we stopped trying because we were at the top for so long. Pride is the true instigator of the downfall of empires. The sense that you can't be wrong even as you do all the wrong things steadily leading to your own destruction. Constant reflection and adjustment is the only way not to fall into the trap.
I like your videos not just because I'm Chinese and you talked good about China, every places have their good and bad, it's about you are so positive in life and every time I watch your videos will make my day, enjoy your time in China. Every Chinese person like chicken feet 😅.
One of the main reasons that ordinary people go out and enjoy even at night is that they know that the government is looking after them 24 hours a day. And the people know better than to do a criminal act. Of course, crime and bad people are everywhere. But in China, punishment is enforced to the the letter. Do drugs and you go to jail. Sell drugs and you die. The law is in black and white, no in between. Americans should call for the strict enforcement and strict application of the laws. A shoplifter killing a Home Depot employee only got 5 years! Give her a chance even after all her convictions. And what about the poor guy who got shot and killed?
Thank you for taking the time, like many other vloggers from the West, to show what China is really like. The politicians of the West want the world to think that China is a horrific totalitarian regime, and all of its people are downtrodden, oppressed, and desperately unhappy. In fact, most people in China are prosperous and doing better and better. They are hard working, and they enjoy their down time. Chinese cities are safe, well maintained, and there are no beggars. The subways are ultramodern, and safe. The shopping malls are huge, futuristic, and safe. What you showed in your video are streets full of happy people enjoying their city, and these streets are also safe. China is not the only place where this is true. But it is certainly far from the unhappy place that many leaders of the West want their people to believe.
I spent a month in China, it was very safe. The people are friendly even though they don’t speak english. However they would put a smile on their faces. I would not walk in the streets here in the US specially at night.
You don't need to be speaking English to be friendly. Maybe put in some effort to learn a few words or sentences, since you were in their country. Or at least take it upon yourself to have a translation app available.
Hi I like your video on China, I stayed in China for 3yrs, in city of Chengdu, Sichuan, this is a quote most layed back city in China you may want to visit there some time, as for as like you never heard of the fruit (durian fruit) until a went to China, 2 things I learn about the fruit Chinese, Thai people love it, but it's usually only women love it most Chinese men don't just smell put them of, and you must never try to board a plane with durian fruit because the smell, you would banned from flying in with in your luggage 谢谢👍
I am from Philippines but my mother side are Chinese and for some reason, when I was four, Durian, Sugar Apple, and grape fruit was the only fruits I love. al though Grape Fruit makes me sad now because I am unable to enjoy them without my late Grand Mother...
John you heard of the "Stinky Tofu" snack right? This was what happened in my family 25 yrs ago - my mum bought a piece of durian (which was quite rarely seen in my city at that time) and as long as my dad went back he immediately turned around to buy a bottle of stinky tofu to fight against it 🙃🙃Me? I slept in my grandma's house that night, don't ask me why

I was born and grew up in Beijing and then came to Chicago US. I have 30 years of living experience in China and 32 in US. I went back to China 4 or 5 times for vacation. On public safety, difference between China and U.S. is day and night. One of encounters when I traveled in China was that I was in chengdu sightseeing and passed by a convenient store. All of sudden I remembered I need to buy a tooth paste. So I walked in and found it and took it to register. To my surprise, a little cute girl who was 6 years old and standing on a bench attended it. I handed over my stuff and she skillfully scanned my purchases and told me how much. I paid. Then I asked her how old she was and where her parents are. She said 6 and her dad and mom were in the back eating lunch and then said thanks and turned to next customers. Having been living Chicago for so many years I found myself not completely transitioning to Chinese social environment. Now I finally understand why people say China is not only different country but different civilization.
In China, you can participate in the People's Congress to elect the next national leader and decide on China's construction goals for the next 10 years. If this is not freedom, then what is freedom?
People will relax or find some entertainment at night after one day working, enjoy foods, hangout with friends, especially in weekends. In south of China, people love night life, their life starts at night.
Hmmm. Sounds like you might still be there as you liked it so much you never left ! 🙄 Seriously - surely China can afford better quality 50 cent army than this these days?

As a person from Kunming, I really miss the food and weather of my hometown. Kunming is known as the city of spring, which means that it is like spring all year round, neither too hot nor too cold, and Kunming has the largest flower trading market in Asia, where 60% of the flowers in China come from. Welcome to Kunming.😀😀
Even in the smaller cities in China there is a vibrant night life. I never felt uneasy walking around at night. There were always people working or enjoying a night out on the town. I will post more videos after my trip to Guangdong later this year.
here in certain parts of East Long Beach, California, mom & pops shops are in a rush to close after 5pm. It's too dangerous later in the evening. Walking down this side of Long Beach at night is like walking on a landmine. You're going to get hurt or kill. Keep the vlog coming please, would love to visit China one day
I have lived in California since 2015( LA then SF) it’s true. I try to call Uber at late night and it’s a lot money. Remember gun is legal in US so never confront with those crazy homeless people
I totally agree with you, I was living in the port of LA from 2015-2018 and as you said the part of Long Beach is really disaster by the time, still remember that one of my professor told me like DO NOT GO TO THAT AREA IF NOT NECESSARY!😢
As you can see in this video, the Police in China do NOT carry guns. I approached one in Shanghai to go to the nearest toilet, and the young officer escorted me to the near Department Store to the 1st Floor where the public toilets were. Police in China are CIVIC Police. In USA, the Police are MILITIA Police. I was nervous to approach them because all I could focus on is their UTILITY Belt full of Arsenals (e.g. Gun, Baton, Spray Cans, Handcuffs, Taser, etc). WTF? And if you do something minor, USA Police approach you with their hand hovering over their gun.
I think it is not easy to be a policeman in the USA either, show some empathy here, almost everyone in the USA can get hold of a gun.It is much more dangerous to be a policeman in the US than that in China.
@@NancyYan-wk2ph Sad, but true. The USA Police Officers were young, and they do not want to die. So, they get suspicious with everybody, because people carry guns in USA, and 40,000 gun related deaths every year in USA.
China is hands down the safest country in the world. In the US, you are 70 times more likely to become a victim of a violent crime. I don’t go out after dark in LA.

Say a sad thing: My uncle worked in Shenzhen. During the Spring Festival of 1995, he spent a week's salary to buy a large durian and take it back to his hometown (in central China). Since none of us had eaten durian before, when we cut it, we smelled a strong odor. We thought it was corrupt, and then we threw it away.
I stayed in Seattle redmond for almost 2 years and rarely went out to mall for fun after I experienced and knew the gunshots in public news. The gunshots happened a few blocks away from my airbnb in Tacoma. I heard it in the midnight and decided to pack and leave without asking for refund the next day. Yes, I was scared and I felt there is too much freedom in US. just way too much
As a Chinese, I thought other countries would also be safe to walk around alone in the evening with the streets brightly lit with busy malls and exciting events. Though we don't have your kind of freedom, but our government did have done a good job on cracking down on crimes and enforcing very very strict drug control policies to keep its people safe in general.
In China, you cannot talk any bad comments about the goverment,or you will be cought to the jail. And the lies come out from the goverment you must regard them as truth.People have no political freedom, talking freedom and news freedom. This is the biggest fail of this country.
I live in the DFW area of Texas. I would not go out at night for safty reason. However, in most of the Asian countries, late at night is not much a safty concern at all. How nice !

THANKS FOR SHOWING THE REAL WORLD TO THE BLIND ONES.

I was born and grew up in Beijing and then came to Chicago US. I have 30 years of living experience in China and 32 in US. I went back to China 4 or 5 times for vacation. On public safety, difference between China and U.S. is day and night. One of encounters when I traveled in China was that
I was in chengdu sightseeing and passed by a convenient store.
