What a wonderful adventure. Bryce Canyon is not too far away from the north rim of the Grand Canyon. It's beautiful up there, and much different than the more popular south rim. It's higher in elevation than the south rim, so it's quite pleasant even in the summer. It's very woodsy. We saw wild turkeys, and deer. You can rent cabins. I woke up one morning and looked out the window and saw deer right in font of me just out for a stroll. It's beautiful. There is a place at the north rim where you can look and see the painted desert. If you are ever at the north rim and want to go to the south rim, you have to drive completely around it to where the canyon begins. I'm telling you this because if you are going to the Grand canyon from Chicago, you will undoubtedly get to the north rim first. The Petrified Forest is beautiful as well. However the Petrified Forest is further southeast of the Grand Canyon. One thing to realize if you ever do get a chance to go to the Grand Canyon and have it in your mind to go to the floor of the canyon, the floor is the same temperature as Phoenix. So if it's 120 degrees in Phoenix, it's 120 on the floor. You can see the south rim from the north rim, it's about 10 miles between as the crow flies. In terms of the tourists, for every 100 people at the south rim, there are 10 people at the north rim, so you aren't surrounded by tons of people. I hope you get a chance to go someday. Your friend's dog was so sweet. Oliver was glad to meet a new friend on his journey. I love the look Oliver gave when at one of the hotels in the morning laying on the bed that said, "You're not getting me in that car today. I hate the car. I want the car to go away."

Oliver loves travelling around, but after 5000 miles he is probably glad to be at home again. His 'inspektion' tells him that nothing has changed, and he can relax now from his great adventure trip with his family. it's amazing, how he watched everything carefully while driving. His 'comments' are interesting, too. Great video about beautiful places - and the cutest and most adorable Beagle. Awesome, 'Cocker Spaniel' from Germany. 😉🙋♂️

Your drive on I80 and going through Des Moines reminded me of my own trip. I wish I had Oliver to keep me company. I lost my fur baby earlier this year😢 I enjoy watching Oliver’s many adventures! ❤🐶

Oliver and Holly were so cute together. Though he enjoyed Holly, he clearly liked being at home playing with his toys more. It was so funny how brave Holly was in defending against a stranger on the other side of the fence, but let you roam throughout her house with no problem. I liked that Oliver helped Holly defend her territory against a stranger threatening her yard. He had her back! What a pal! Thanks for letting us tag along on Oliver's adventures. 🥰
I did memorably see a squirrel-like creature at Zion, at the top of the incredible Angel's Landing. The critter knew backpacks contained food, and would approach them if humans put them on the ground and walked away.
I never tire of re-watching Oliver’s exciting trips. He loves staying each night in a new place and methodically checking out each new motel room, especially the beds? Holly was treat to watch! A sweet dog!

How did Oliver like The Strip? Yes it is very bright there Oliver. If you ever go back to Vegas tell Scott and Wayne to spring for The Bellagio. The trip was amazing to watch but I laughed out loud at the room at The Luxor. Funny stuff. Oliver’s stretch on the wall when he got home was great. Happy Dog.
Dog friendly. That was an amazing trip. Oliver being a UA-cam start he definitely deserves an upgrade. He is not a high roller in the Vegas sense so no penthouse for Oliver. It was very funny. Also when I saw Oliver with his boots on and his tongue hanging out I new that that hike was gonna be a short one. I have a beagle and he does not like the heat at all. So happy you all are back home from your 6 week vacation and you shared it with us. Oliver fans are so lucky to be able to go on your adventures with you. The videos were amazing. It's very woodsy. We saw wild turkeys, and deer. You can rent cabins. I woke up one morning and looked out the window and saw deer right in font of me just out for a stroll. It's beautiful. There is a place at the north rim where you can look and see the painted desert. If you are ever at the north rim and want to go to the south rim, you have to drive completely around it to where the canyon begins. I'm telling you this because if you are going to the Grand canyon from Chicago, you will undoubtedly get to the north rim first. The Petrified Forest is beautiful as well. However the Petrified Forest is further southeast of the Grand Canyon.
One thing to realize if you ever do get a chance to go to the Grand Canyon and have it in your mind to go to the floor of the canyon, the floor is the same temperature as Phoenix. So if it's 120 degrees in Phoenix, it's 120 on the floor.
You can see the south rim from the north rim, it's about 10 miles between as the crow flies. In terms of the tourists, for every 100 people at the south rim, there are 10 people at the north rim, so you aren't surrounded by tons of people.
I hope you get a chance to go someday.

It was so cute when Oliver jumped up on Scott as if to say 'Hey what about me?' when Scott was giving Holly attention. It reminded me of one of my favourite Oliver video's of when he was still a puppy & his daddy returned after being away and he jumped up like that on Scott to say Hello!! Love you, Oliver xx 💕

Oliver loves travelling around, but after 5000 miles he is probably glad to be at home again. His 'inspektion' tells him that nothing has changed, and he can relax now from his great adventure trip with his family.

Wow! What a trip for Oliver! I live in Denver, but grew up in Iowa. I just recently drove home over the summer to visit family. Your drive on I80 and going through Des Moines reminded me of my own trip. I wish I had Oliver to keep me company. I lost my fur baby earlier this year😢 I enjoy watching Oliver’s many adventures! ❤🐶

Oliver and Holly were so cute together. Though he enjoyed Holly, he clearly liked being at home playing with his toys more. It was so funny how brave Holly was in defending against a stranger on the other side of the fence, but let you roam throughout her house with no problem. I liked that Oliver helped Holly defend her territory against a stranger threatening her yard. He had her back! What a pal! Thanks for letting us tag along on Oliver's adventures. 🥰

I did memorably see a squirrel-like creature at Zion, at the top of the incredible Angel's Landing. The critter knew backpacks contained food, and would approach them if humans put them on the ground and walked away.

I never tire of re-watching Oliver’s exciting trips. He loves staying each night in a new place and methodically checking out each new motel room, especially the beds? Holly was treat to watch! A sweet dog!

Yes food courts and all you can eat buffets would be bliss for Oliver. Vegas is known for that.
The food court there had chicken fingers and so Oliver would have loved it!

How did Oliver like The Strip? Yes it is very bright there Oliver. If you ever go back to Vegas tell Scott and Wayne to spring for The Bellagio. The trip was amazing to watch but I laughed out loud at the room at The Luxor. Funny stuff. Oliver’s stretch on the wall when he got home was great. Happy Dog.
Yes, the Luxor is fun because of how monumental it is, but it definitely is not the most luxurious on The Strip!!
Dog friendly. That was an amazing trip. Oliver being a UA-cam start he definitely deserves an upgrade. He is not a high roller in the Vegas sense so no penthouse for Oliver. It was very funny. Also when I saw Oliver with his boots on and his tongue hanging out I new that that hike was gonna be a short one. I have a beagle and he does not like the heat at all. So happy you all are back home from your 6 week vacation and you shared it with us. Oliver fans are so lucky to be able to go on your adventures with you. The videos were amazing.
