I really like the theory that Eternatus is somehow related to Ultra Beasts, especially the idea that Eternatus and Ultra Necrozma are the Giratina and Arceus of Ultra Megalopolis. Eternatus and Giratina both control dark energy (Dynamax and the Distortion World), are both dragons, have red highlights, and have tendrils coming off of their bodies. Arceus and Ultra Necrozma are both beings of light, but both of their forms that we see in game are not their full power. Food for thought, Eternatus' battle was practically an interactive cutscene, but it feels like one of the most exciting moments in the franchise.
I feel you, I don't even care that it was impossible to lose the fight, it felt amazing to know that you were the one who had the fighting chance to stop that demigod
I know this is an old comment, but where did you hear that UN isn't Necrozma's true forme? I've forgotten some of the exact details of the Ultra games' story since I haven't played it since my first playthrough back when it was released, but I assumed UN was "The Blinding One" referred to in lore, and after losing its full forme from lighting up Alola it turned into its base forme (the one from S/M)?
From world-threatening monster of legend to a kid's cute little pet... I sometimes forget how menacing the lore made him out to be and even forget how awesome his theme was!
Eternamax Eternatus was really cool, but it also made me really disappointed with Mother Beast Lusamine in retrospect. Like, this is what she should have been. An unplayable but really overpowered form of Nihilego that you and Nebby have to take down together.
The transition from Phase 2 to Phase 3 really got me shook. From a bleak scene, facing the mighty destroyer of who-knows-what, a mighty, powerful being that transcends all Pokemon anyone has ever had, in it's true, unstoppable form. A form so powerful it makes your Pokemon, which have been your companions throughout your journey and helped you in amazing ways with epic feats of power, rendered completely helpless and powerless, at the will of the demon standing before you. To having at your side your best friend (depends on your opinion on Hop) and the two heroes who defeated the mighty beast before, Zacian and Zamazenta. Zacian with her deadly sword, and Zamazenta with his shield of epic power, and their Behemoth moves, to make it all the better. *This* was something that *shook* me. And all of it enhanced a millionfold with Vetrom's epic remixes. Thank you Vetrom, for your remixes, and thank God I discovered your channel.
Personally, what I wish would happen, that instead of Hop being there, ruining the scene, Zacian and Zamazenta channel energy into your character, and they sort of change and end up clad in the armor, with the sword and the shield, that resembles the hero in the Motostoke hotel. From there, you command Zacian, Zamazenta, AND your own pokemon to fight Eternatus.

Aw yeah, all three themes, remixed together! Nicely done! Make all the jokes you want about this guy and Gen 8 as a whole, but Eternatus never ceases to scare the shit outta me. I have several reasons for this: 1) Its name. It's literally "Eternal" + "Thanatos". The latter is the Greek God of Death. Not the dead; death itself. Its name means "Endless Death." Fitting, as its typing is Poison/Dragon, both of which could easily kill someone. And do I need to explain its appearance? 2) It's the whole reason why Dynamaxing exists. That by itself is crazy, but it can also use that power to launch the Dynamax Cannon, with the move's power doubling to 200 when targeting a Dynamaxed/Gigantamaxed Pokémon. It also has Eternabeam, which has the highest base power (160) of all Dragon-type moves, excluding Z-Moves. 3) If you read the dialogue carefully, you'd know that it caused the Darkest Day 3000 years ago. What else happened 3000 years ago? Remember Gen 6? There was a Great War. And the Ultimate Weapon was created then too. Coincidence? I don't think so. 4) It was defeated in-battle 3000 years ago, but not outright killed like one should've probably done. Why? It may not be possible to kill it, let alone keep it defeated. Remember, you're forced to catch it instead of outright defeating/killing it. Just go and *try* to kill God in their true form. It's not gonna work. 5) It's true form, it's Eternamax form, *rips spacetime* with its very presence. Such power can also render other Pokémon immoblie as it gathers energy, and such power it has; its base stat total is *1125.* And if you take a close look at it, it's definitely a hand. But it's reaching down. From the center of what is shaped like a galaxy. Think about it: the hand of God, reaching down for us as we beg for mercy. And that's why this mofo, the first Poison Legendary, is scary as shit to me.
Wait a minute, if Eternatus caused the Darkest Day, does that mean the Ultimate Weapon hit Eternatus to try and stop the constant Dynamaxing, and... It LIVED!?!
Declan Maini my theory is that the Ultimate Weapon being fired, in addition to the timeline split, also caused Eternatus to wake up because of the massive surge of raw infinity energy. No matter which of the two canon timelines SwSh takes place in, this theory holds up pretty well logically with what we know.
my theory is that the meteor that landed contained materials/or the body that made eternatus and the ultimate weapon's energy made it come alive and wreak havoc on galar
A fan theory says that Eternamax is one of the beings that Arceus fought before creating the universe. Even more of that they theorised that the recent legendary are all fragments of those beings uncounscious of their ancient nature. Whay I mean? Eternamax: the cause of Dynamax, Dragon Poison type. Necrozma: the cause of Z-moves, Dragon Psychic type. Zygarde: the cause of Megaevolution (yeah that might sound strange but according to the speculations I heard he fell on earth along side the meteors that brought infinity energy on earth), Dragon Ground type. And there are even more out there. Edit: this is just a little bit of the whole theory.
You have to admit. Eternatus is the most intimidating and most alien looking legendary in the entire series. This thing is literally twice the size of a Wailord! I originally thought this guy was a Ultra Beast just because of how bizarre it looks.

I'm honestly wondering if you are tired of doing pokemon remixes. I enjoy them all and it seems like you enjoy making them. Also, if you aren't tired of doing them, I was wondering if you could possibly do a remix of the PWT Finals theme from B2 W2. It's a bit longer than most pokemon themes (especially older ones) and has many different sections, and themes like that generally translate to remixes better. I know you probably get a lot of requests, and there isn't as much demand for older themes, but I think it goes underappreciated and I think your style of remix would really do it justice. Either way, nice work on all of these remixes!
It would honestly depends on what you look at. Stat wise? Eternatus, obviously. Even with UN's Stat boosts at the start (against the player) it only barely topples the base stat of eternamax eternatus... *by 6 BST points*. However, if we looked at their full potentials and movesets, Eternatus simply stalls out and heals when needed, thanks to Recover and absurd defenses, which can be increased even further by Cosmic Power. (gotta love flamethrower/dragon pulse/cosmic power/recover on a bulky Eternatus). Aside, Dynamax pokemon/Eternamax Eternatus can negate abilities and stat buffs. Necrozma has its slight type advantage, but immediately loses one to becoming dragon type when it becomes Ultra Necrozma. The one big issue for Necrozma, is also, that Eternamax Eternatus isn't bound to a 3 turn dynamax rule. It stays big, until the end of the fight. This allows it to continuously spam 120+ base power max moves. Necrozma's only shot at doing any considerable amount of damage is 'Light that burns the Sky', its signature Z-Move, with its 200 Base Power. Now, a little speculation/guessing follows; Does Z-energy or Necrozma's transformation have any interaction with Dynamax Cannon? It shouldn't, but in the case it would, Necrozma is dead meat. 5 to 8 Dynamax Cannons at its disposal, Necrozma has barely any chances. If we don't allow stat boosts nor healing moves, Necrozma can't deal enough damage, at least not alone. If we took base forms, Eternatus is faster than Necrozma. this allows it to strike first... but, in base form, Necrozma is only a psychic type, giving the typing edge back. Of course, Eternatus can learn Shadow Ball... Through TR. And that's non-STAB damage. So, to wrap stuff up; Eternamax wins from Ultra Necrozma without a second doubt. But the chance exists if it's base forms, no buffs or healing, for Necrozma. Thank you for reading this through. Here's a lava cookie and a moomoo milk.
this was actually one of the best legendary fights and I even had actual difficulty with the first phase, put along with the fact that leon just failed and it rather than being defeated turns into a form that requires *two* legendary pokemon to fight it to have any hope was a perfect experience in a gaem that had little to no difficulty and an amazing plot setting up for this. The post gaem just isn't as good as everything leading up to this.
>Dynamax makes pokemon huge, Eternatus is the origin of Dynamax >Pokeballs work by forcibly triggering a Pokemons innate ability to shrink ... Getting caught couldn't have felt good, ouch
who will win? -------------------- Theoretically one of the thousand arms of Arceus, corrupted by human ambition, having infinite energy, thus warping spacetime around it, because it has infinite energy it broke the law of equivalent exchange, and might destroy the entire world. *BIG, BONY, CLAW!*
Pokemon sword and shield are the most underappreciated pokemon games ever
While I absolutely love this remix, you can't beat the original phase 3. The howling of the good boys just makes it so much better.
ultra necrozma be hiding when eternamax Eternatus be entering the room
Once we got to Phase 3, I think the Eternatus in the video should have faded out as Zacian and Zamazenta appear instead.
The first part really gave me Terraria vibes, I love it! :)
You know you’re a bad final boss when a frickin stapler is more intimidating than you.
I really hope we get more insight into whatever Eternatus is in the Crown Tundra DLC
Another Origami King fan, I see?
(eternatus is more of a cinematic boss than a combat-based boss like dark beast ganon from botw)
@@Kuu-n-koi2317 what cinematics?
@@Kuu-n-koi2317 Yeah, they both look ungodly powerful(at least in thier second phases), but in gameplay they're both pushovers.
Phase 1 is a banger!
Eternatus (Codenamed UB-12, Dynamax)
And i thought the original soundtrack was intimidating enough as it is
This is really nice!
Havent heard it, but i know its going to be sick
Battle! Eternatus? More like the Eternatus Medley!
Who do you think will win??
Ultra Necrozma or Eternataus?
Someone has to do a kaizo mod for Sw/Sh
Just take Eternity and Thanatos Mix the two together and you get Eternatus. That is literally endless DEATH!!!
Eternatus is one of my favorite legendaries, and this is why
I like this thing more than Rayquaza
YEAHHH!!!!
I've never been this early
anyone else think this is an ultra beast?
4:47 favorite part
A bit late due to sudden lack of internet, but still...
Amazing remix, still waiting for the Steel for humans one.
Day 23 of waiting
>Dynamax makes pokemon huge, Eternatus is the origin of Dynamax
>Pokeballs work by forcibly triggering a Pokemons innate ability to shrink
... Getting caught couldn't have felt good, ouch
POV: you tried finding the theme for Zaiero
How the hell did King even land that metal burst
Why does it remind me so mutch Jasper's theme from Steven univers?
NOOOOO NOT THE TIMPANI
who will win?

I don’t know if this is too much, but can you cover Pokémon black and white hall of theme song? I don’t see any covers of it and I honestly think it’s the best hall of fame theme out there. Also great cover of eternatus! Really love the theme of this legendary, even tho imo I think it has the weakest story for a legendary
