    Cinnabon has doubled in size over the past 10 years because who among us is able to ignore that cinnamony smell wafting over to us from the Cinnabon in the mall. This video talks about why they're successful along with some other fun and interesting aspects of the company.

    When I work at my Cinnabon, sometimes we intentionally overcook the cinnamon rolls to entice more customers and then release the oven doors to overwhelm the mall with the smell. Smart tactic

    The B could be to make the French word “bon”, this means good or, likely for this case, candy or sweets in general. So taking the name apart it comes out to cinnamon-candies as the Cinnabon’s have a candy like topping.

    • @reedbrooks3887
      @reedbrooks3887 4 роки тому +132

      Possibly, but I definitely don’t see malls “dying” as people keep saying they will. The things that I see closing in malls are mostly department stores, puppy mills and candy shoppes. These I would say are more based off a failure to innovate and changing interests. People definitely don’t hate cinnamon rolls and the Cinnabon stores low operating costs leave lots of revenue for innovations. From my perspective the fall of Cinnabon won’t come till there’s a superior competitor or a large enough health movement to scare people away from the sugary rolls. Until then Cinnabon will likely remain alive and well.

They've got hundreds of items now, way more than anyone ever asked for, and that bogs down the business with increased internal costs, shipping and logistical nightmares, and employee burnout because they have to deal with too many things at once. As I got closer to it I saw these huge delectable cinnamon rolls sitting there waiting on me to eatem up with a cold glass of milk. I'm a cinnamon addict anyway I've been in love with them since 1996. They were also featured in the movie Time Cop. For a short while during the holidays they had a cranberry version of their rooll which wasn't so great. For what ever reason they changed the pecan one up from the original that had a small amount of icing but a lot of caramel,and pecans almost like a sticky bun but the new joint they have now is just lazy a.f the coat an already iced cinnabon in caramel and pecans.

    My sister worked at a Cinnabon in 2017. She was made to clean the walk-in dough vats between batches. One day, she was scraping the remaining dough from the sides of the sweetening cannon when someone leaned on the mixing lever. You guessed it. She was immediately killed by the kneading attachment. It's how she would have preferred to go. I don't hold it against Cinnabon, but you would think the family of an employee killed in their mixing machinery could occasionally get a free cinnamon roll, or God forbid, a discount, but no. I think they owe us that, at least.
