The Ilikai is really an iconic Summer all over, chill vibe in an instance, really like it. The Pohaku is also a looker. Am sure this new line up and innovation will be a hit. The KTR just has such sustain and chiming warmth, nice. Thanks for the run through, really enjoyed it.
All three of the models look wonderful, and sound grand in their own reflection of distinctive style, and woods use in their building. My favorite rolls back to the KTR natural wood beauty. Thank you for your review, and input of each instrument.
Phwoar to all three. The first sounds like it’s as good as a koa tenor could possibly be, and the latter two, as well as being visually appealing (and Kanile’a’s answer to the Flight A10s) sound so full and rich - not what I’d naively expect from maple.
You are not the only person who has said that. Kanile'a have been doing custom shop stains since around 2020 which is when Flight launched the A10... It's just taken a long time for this kind of thing to come out on a production uke. I bet Flight are thrilled how many people associate these colourful PRS style stains on Uke with them.
As usual! The master educating us on the nuances of the ukulele world! Lovely mate! Thanks!

Very nice. The Pohaku has a very contemporary look and of course sounds as good as it looks.
Wow! Was my instant reaction and still is! Great when you’re so excited and enthusiastic..a real buzz! Exciting video, thanks Alex!

Beautiful sounding ukuleles, love the Pohaku, would look nicer with matching red bridge pin inserts?
Really good suggestion!
… and a black neck?
Wow, three exceptional ukes...
While it’s not my favorite aesthetically, that Ikikai sounds impressive. Gorgeous!
Cheers Alex. All three are beautiful in my opinion and I only wish I could play half as good as you 👍 cheers Alex
Don't care much for the Ilikai colors, but all the other ones are gorgeous.
Sacrilege 🤣
🤐
Agree!

Darth Vader's ukulele. A black neck would make it even better.
Agreed actually. I was surprised it didn't have a black neck on first glance.
These colors might be really popular as an Oha imported version.
Not a bad shout.
They remind me of Flight ukes.

@@SouthernUkuleleStore Yes it’s just not a look I associate with Kanilea but it’s good to expand I guess.
