This is a fantastic versatile machine for table top use. Myself have larger equipment for venison processing requiring multiple person operations, whereas I utilize Kitchen Aid unit in producing small batch quality product. This machine can go distance too, and can perform on larger scale production as work horse. Do not under estimate this machine, it packs a mean punch, and clean up is a breeze. Kitchen Aid makes things easy, no functioning kitchen should be without one, and is a great machine for those with disabilities. Believe it or not, heard a Kitchen Aid mixer and all its attachments were listed in a divorce agreement.
John S I agree in fact a one of my dream graduation gifts especially for my kitchen when I finally get my own place is a KitchenAid Stand Mixer and other attachments!

This is a great video! I got mine on ebay a couple weeks ago for around $40 with more blades and 3 metal sausage tubes....SCORE! I am using it to make homemade cat food. Already I can see the difference in our cats. NO MORE store bought yucky food for them. I was hoping they would show the set up for this, like how to install the blade, as the instructions that came with it are VERY UNhelpful!! Oh, well.
I’d love to get this attachment but really put off by the spilling of raw meat everywhere. I’ve seen one video demonstrating how to use it, where they put a ziplock bag around the grinder (where the meat comes out) and you could clearly see all the little raw meat juice droplets being caught by the bag. Made me think that everyone who doesn’t use that technique will have raw meat juice flying around the place 😖 Also, what’s the point in wearing disposable gloves when they touch everything with those very gloves anyway? 🤷🏼♀️
Crazy. Bought my kitchenaid mixer and grinder yesterday. Went to use the metal grinder and it broke some gear in the mixer within 2 minutes. Trash machine
Aidualc Onh it’s pretty common isn’t? Especially with minced meet. Also many beef sausages have pork in them. I believe it’s because the pork is fatty (and of course cheaper).

I finally just bought one of these and I am so glad I did. I want to make Polska kielbasa and Italian sausage with lots of seasoning.

I use pork and beef when I make meat pies and it's absolutely delicious.
You can mix pork and beef if they’re kept cold and if you fully cook the food (165 f minimum).
