    Thanks so much. It’s the first time I’ve tried anything so complex and I wouldn’t have even thought about it without this video and your help. Nearly completed rebuild and I do have two hard plastic pipes I can’t find connections for - one comes out any the tank ventilation valve but isn’t the one to the valve (looks like it comes from drive housing near left front wheel), and the other is attached to a bracket with the dipstick - so one front and one at rear of air intake manifold. I’ll just leave them hanging and give it a go, unless you have any ideas or advice. Thanks again - great work.

    Any thoughts on the horrible p0505 code. I've recently replaced the disa and then I got a cam position sensor code and a icv code. Pulled the cam position sensor and re-installed it and erased the code. Drove around and only the icv code came back. Took the icv out and cleaned it real good put it back in erased and it popped back up. Also the car is idling high so I'm guessing it probably stuck open. I've ordered a new icv and really hope that's the problem.

    • @Zeiten
      @Zeiten  2 роки тому +1

      That video might be coming, there are 2 ways of replacing oil pan gasket:
      1 is full removal of deferential axles front drive shaft etc very labor intensive
      2 is just lowering oil pan with diff and axles attached that will create enough room to replace oil pan gasket and much simpler way although you won’t be able to clean the oil pan itself (that is not really necessary)

    E53 2004 M54 6spd manual.
    I did the extra vacuum line off the CCV to the manifold. Replaced CCV, all vac lines and plugs. Carefully reassembled.
    I am now chasing burn fail codes for cyl 1, 3, and 5 and Lamda codes. Car runs well, then settles eventually into a rough idle when stationary.
    DISA is holding vacuum. Put an O-Ring over the factory RTV. Fits tight in the hole, but I am suspicious of this seal here.
    02 sensors are original most likely with 216k. Bought all 4 to replace. Bosch. Also just did Plugs. Bosch quad platnium.
    Not doing O2s until I verify DISA and Vacc lines are good.
    What would cause those Burn fail codes and the Lamda codes if not the 02 sensors? Lamda codes not there before service.
    Thank you!
