LOL! I had just replayed that part for the third time - trying to determine if that's what it was - when I saw this comment! So, I guess that's what it was. lol
That jazz sounded amazing, the piano sounds amazing. I would personally have prefered less mics but 15 velocity layers though.

***** On their website they say "UP to 10". for the sustains. it's a bit on the small side for my taste. Especially for a VST of this price!

no, pretty sure it's 10 layers per mic, if 8dioproductions could clarify? ;)

***** i know right, i don't like the up to either but, who knows. maybe 1 or 2 mics have 10 vel layers each but the others only have 8 or smth like that, would be good to know
Lion's Heart Productions If you think about it - its pretty hard to consistently play more then 10 velocities as a normal human. We can pinky promise you that we captured everything from the softest pianissismo to the strongest fortissimo - and everything in between. Please keep in mind that its not just velocity layers - its also the fact we sampled both pedal down and pedal up in separate sessions - and deep-sampled staccatissimo and staccato. Hopefully the video demonstrates some of its versatility. All layers are identical for ALL mics.

8dioproductions Thank you for this clarification, i was pretty much sure it was identical for all mics. And yeah since you have staccato and staccatissimo, also pedal, that adds a lot more work and samples too so i can understand why you "only" did up to 10 velocity layers. Well 10 velocity layers is already quite good!
IMO the Soundpaint version is better! The Soundpaint version just feels better and more realistic on the keys. Kontakt in general is a little more stiff as an engine and it's obvious when you play the two versions side by side. I think so anyway.
Hi, Troels! Can you help me with that topic.? 8dio 1990 Studio grand was demonstrated with the video an audio. I heared in particular video, where "jazz fusion" music moment sounding. Can you describe this fragment production. It's a very very beautiful. You said what on the piano sound added a nice lead.
Great Piano.. Thank you 8Dio team
I bursted out with laughter when he sweared. I never heard Troels swear and it was totally unexpected.
These videos happen as they happen - someone was inspired in the moment!

He said. "Fucking" That's what makes it great! LOL!!
is the 8dio version better or the Soundpaint version better?

This sounds wonderfu!!..For Gospel and r&b...its very helpful to turn down the reverb that the chords can cut .😊
Troels...what is the sound of that lead line in that fusion piece....awesome!!!!
Hi Troels - beautiful - adding to my shopping list. Interested to know which midi keyboard did you use to play these?

Woah didn't expect swearing in a professional video! But you're right it is a great piece!
Was that jazz fusion piece completely improvised?
Indeed.
How does she hold up to the Rach? ;)
The ultimate test. We will give a try and throw it up on the demos in a couple of days.
