The Everyday Dad that's a very good point! considering they make so much money with all their other products, I could definitely see the company doing that seeing as they're the new guys on the block and want to make a name for themselves.
I realized halfway in that I recognize the bridge you are walking over at about the 4:40 mark. That's the rapids pavilion in Evans, GA. I'm from the Augusta area originally, just moved to Denver in June.
Cool cool, thought I'd put it out there. Have fun with your travels!

Fragile - You are right. Don't drop it. It is so tight built that you'll crack the case if you drop it. You bought the right case. I have it and I added some "soft velcro side" little pads in the corners. Stabilisation - You are right. It has this vertigo effect. They should drop one axe and stabilise only the X and Y. But most good editing software will do a better job at stabilising. Other pro - Xiaomi keeps on pushing firmware updates and new features. In 7 month I got at least 8 updates. The sound is now wayyyy better than it was when I bought it. Timelapses - Precision - Video Timelapse is very different. It use video processing. It is not self stitching images. It just shoot in very slow capture mode. So if you are doing night Timelapse, the video will boost up the grain. But if you use PHOTO timelapse, it will act as a DSLR. Then you can ajust exposure time, and leave the ISO at a low level. You'll get clean images.
Got the old YI , a GoPRO,and a Sony HDR but this looks well worth getting , love the T screen. I also agree 4K is being sold the same as mega Pixel numbers are being sold for Stills cameras . For everyday use 1080 is great same as 16mp works fine for stills (as long as both have a decent piece of glass in front) I have found a supplier for £99 with waterproof housing included. Thanks for the vid review.
I love all your videos!! I have been watching your vids for a few months now.. and you have been so helpful with making my decision on purchasing my next few gears for vlogging..
Nice review. Any chance you have links to (or brand/model names of) the aluminum case you got from Amazon, as well as which gimbal you are using? Thanks!
Don't worry about thumbs down, you did a great review! There are idiots on the net who go from review to review and, without watching, just click thumbs down, all day! Cheers!
Getting mine tomorrow, this hidden setting / disabled setting for 30fps 4k does sounds mouth watering but where will Yi 4k go if Lite is doing the same thing?
Can you control more than one camera with the app? Syncing video in a multi-camera shoot is a pain. And is there an external mic hook up I didn't notice?
I just got a Yi 4K (not +). I use it for just 1080p - I don't have a 4K PC monitor, home TV or projector to use. Neither do friends who'd be interested in looking at my videos. And 1080p on UA-cam is just fine. The Yi cameras are really good value. My main want now is longer battery life.
Do you think what electronic stabilization is there would work on a drone platform without a stabilizing gimble, if the drone was flown smoothly and not screaming around?
+Thomas Gehrdes Jr for the yi? No absolutely not, for the GoPro maybe it did a pretty good job on Friday taking the shake out of it with just some rubber bands.
I just tried that today with the bugs 2C (Force1 F200C) and the YI lite. It does take out some of the jitter, but the sharpness seems to suffer. That was at 1080p @60 fps. So I think that it is good for what it is, but I wouldn't say it's exceptional. It will keep the horizon level for very small movements, but it's nothing like what a gimble will give you. I had it strapped on with a piece of electrical tape and cushioned against the bottom with two pieces of rubber band. No jello with or without EIS. Either way I'm happy with the drone camera combo - I managed to get them during lightening deals on amazon for $175 total.
This Yi sounds like a great action camera. I want one for a cruise I'm going on and actually for alot more. Do you know if its waterproof? Or should I get a waterproof case, and what about night and sunrise shots?
Thanks for the review. Very helpful. Can you tell me if you can view live video via the HDMI output? Or is that only for video playback? I'm looking to buy a few action cams like this to livestream my bands shows via the HDMI output. Thanks!
That’s a good question. I wouldn’t see why not but I don’t have anything to view through the hdmi port. I’ll keep searching to see if I can find anything though and I’ll let you know if I do 😁
Great review! Subscribed! Few questions, is the yi lite water resistant, if not whats the best case to make it water resistant? What gimble accessory (cheapest) is best for the yi camera
Unfortunately it’s nothing even close to water resistant 😁 I use an aluminum case I found on amazon when I don’t have it in its gimbal. I actually have a video about the cheapest action camera gimbal you can get if you want to watch. But it’s the Feiyu Tech g5 and it’s pretty amazing! Thanks for the comment! 😁👍
If you use the one touch record on the hero5 and then press again to pause it, it won't restart the footage, It has a glitch in the software. It works fine if you switch it on from the side button.
Hi TED, excellent video very much appreciated and thanks for posting. Apologies if you mentioned it and I missed it but do you know if the Yi Lite has the LDC (lens distortion correction to straighten the fish-eye appearance) function that the Yi 4K has? I'm considering the camera as one to use for filming bands in low light situations and wondered if you've done any low light testing at all. Thanks again, Clive
Am beginner and I just bought a bike and am starting this " new chapter" of going on bike rides , so how does is fare in that sense ? Also how is the underwater photography on this ? Again beginner here ..
I don't have that one right now, but I'll keep it in mind for the next time I'm looking for a cheapest action camera to review! Thanks for the comment!
Hi Great review. Would you recommend it for someone who wants to shoot on a motorcycle not for anything special. Just to record my rides and share with my wife and family? Thanks
Thanks so much for the comment! It depends. If you are going to helmet mount it, yes the YI Lite would be perfectly fine for that. If you are going to bike mount it, then I would recommend against it since the stabilization would be overwhelmed by the motorcycles vibration.
Do you foresee any sort of upgrade to the Sony X3000 in the near future? seems to me like that thing is the best but maybe it's getting a little outdated.
Do you have footage without using a gimball? It's really difficult to find a video that really tests the image stability capabilities when people are using action cameras such as on a dune buggy or mountain bike. Not saying you should do those things but maybe can you give the camera a shake or somehow show the magnitude of image correction with the image stability feature? Thanks for posting this video!
Great video and I'm also of the mindset that image stabilizations are great. I'm new to your channel so my question is do you own gimbals and have you had any hacks using them? I know the Hero6 stabilization doesn't work with 4k 60 fps but I own the Karma Grip and that would be an issue. BTW, I'm using the Sony FDR-x3000 as the standard as well.
+NileKid_tech thanks for the comment! Yeah stabilization is now more important to me then image quality when I look for a new camera. (One of the reasons I’m so disappointed with the RX0) I have a Feiyu tech G5 that I use with my GoPro and GoPro clones that I’m pretty fond of. I seriously SERIOUSLY love the fdr x3000. If it were a little better when filming inside it might be the only camera I’d use.
Hey is there any action camera that has a usable motion detection? For surveillance purposes or for watching animals? Or for automatically starting shots when you move into the frame during sports? I figure this would be a good feature but it's not addressed. I haven't found much info on the newer models at all, and negative info on the older models. Maybe this motion detection only works if you are in charging mode? I'd love to get some info.
Does the Yi Lite camera rotate the recording based on if it is being used upside down? Can it record upon vehicle startup (if powered by vehicle as dash cam)? Does it have looping features?
I've been interested in getting an action camera but was unsure as to whether I wanted to go all out on a GoPro or try something entry level (price-wise) first. This is the second time one of your videos popped up in my recommended list and I've watched it. They are super informative and I will use them to determine which camera to get. Thanks!! Btw, I liked this and subscribed to your channel 😃
You have to cover sound too on those action cams. I purchased a cheap camera, good video but HORRIBLE audio and you know that is important. Another reason I went with the Thieye t5e.
+GetOutTheHouseGoFish dang I didn’t include the sound 😩 I did a sound test of both of the cameras but apparently I didn’t add the clip. The audio wasn’t terrible but all action cam audio is pretty bad.
The Missing Link's Younger Brother agree out of the case. I wish more cameras would work like the GoPro where as soon as you click the button it turns on and starts recording immediately.
Hello, congratulations on the channel on you tube. You can do a review of the YI LITE camera, showing how to record the slow motion, burst photos and the camera settings that the camera has. I appreciate the work.
Good review. I may also add that this camera also provides the user the option to add a date and time stamp display to the recorded video. This comes in handy when filming documentaries. GoPro (and Sony) does not offer this option, unfortunately.
Have you ever tried any SJ action cams? The GoPro hero 5 Black sucks compared to my old SJ4000 action cam in my low light studio setup... Most likely getting returned. $300 retail vs $90 - $90 wins. I'm considering the SJ7 Star to replace one of my broken SJ4000's (but may upgrade the other 2 if the cam I get is way better)
I am looking for an action camera for my motorcycle rides(helmet & chest mount) and plan to film primarily at 1080p/60fps. I am totally confused between Yi Lite and Yi 4k. Is Yi Lite more than enough for my purpose or Yi 4k is where i should be looking at?
here is the million dollar question what is the record time without going into a loop, not the runtime of the camera but actual record time with no loop?
Hello everyday dad, (no idea what your real name is). I am thinking of buying a GoPro 6. By searching for reviews on UA-cam I found your channel. After seeing a couple of your vids concerning the GoPro 6 I became a fan of your channel and subscribed on your channel. So keep on posting! I have a question, all reviews on UA-cam deal with all possible settings, of the GoPro. But what I want to know is, what settings would you recommend using in daily life. And what settings do you use, and why did you choose for those settings. Frame rate (1080, 2.7K or 4K) Stabilization on or off 60, 30, or more FPS Protune on or off. Wide, linear, extra wide. Etc, etc. maybe you already made that vid, but I did not see all your vids yet, have to catch up. Many thanks for your awesome vids from the Netherlands 🇳🇱
Hi I really like your Reviews but even though I have looked at most of them I still have a question. I use the TomTom bandit and I really enjoy the camera, but it is totally useless for me due to problems with the audio. Maybe it would work if i always was Indoors. But I drive motorcycle when I film and I need a camera with good quality on both film and audio when the speed is high. It is important for me that it don´t pick up the windnoise, I want to hear the engine. Have you got any suggestions for me? The price is not the most important part but of course I don´t want to pay extra for nothing.
Either way, i don´t mind using an external microphone. My guess is that it is hard to get a good noice reduction without a microphone. For the TomTom it doesn´t matter if I use an external microphone, the hardware isn´t up for the job. But I don´t want to use it for talking, just for picking up the Beautiful sound from the Engine.
I would recommend the Sony FDR X3000 then. It’s got the best stabilization and it has a 3.5mm in! That means you don’t need any kind of an adapter to use a wind protected microphone.
You should be able to find a lav microphone with a USB connector if you search for GoPro accessories on Ebay or Taobao.com, I have one for my Gitup Git2 which also has a USB input and it works great.
This is the mic I use with my Gitup action cam. www.amazon.com/Microphone-PANNOVO-microphone-Adapter-accessories/dp/B01L0A98DS/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1509402862&sr=8-2&keywords=usb+gopro+mic You could also try something like this. www.amazon.com/Microphone-PANNOVO-microphone-Adapter-accessories/dp/B01DDD24YK/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8&qid=1509402862&sr=8-15&keywords=usb+gopro+mic
Hey there EverydayDad .. you should check out the Firefly Q6/6S/7S/8S .. has (fake) 4k 24fps, 1080 60/30fps, 720 120/60fps and a gyro-stabilisation. The Q6/6S starts at about half the price as a Yi Lite.
Regarding stabilization, if we use the Gimbals then do you think it worth to have it ?. If yes, please suggest Gimbals for this action camera, which we can use for phone also.
+BillUtah if it’s attached to you on your helmet I think it would be ok, but if you were to attach it to the bike itself the shaking would probably override the stabilization. 😁👍
Hi I am new to the gopro world do u have any Advice for me I bought a 3-D R solo and wanted to know if so I have to buy a gopro or can I buy a gopro look a like with the Go pro features please help
Thank you for the review. I'm thinking of buying this one. Because i don't travel that much but i need to atleast have an action cam when i do travel. If i buy a go pro which is expensive and i won't be able to use it that much. Might as well buy a cheaper one.
+Effie Lever i didn’t want the video to be too long and it was going down the 30 minute rabbit hole 😁 so I did pair it down abit but I was surprised at how close their 1080p performance was so I didn’t do as much fighting between the two as I originally wanted. Thanks for the comment 😁👍
The Everyday Dad ... my pleasure , I'm an everyday dad too and some things need to be on budget ... so kudos to you for reviewing and comparing all budgets on offer . Gotta love the realistic / honest approach too . Cheers again from aus
I am seriously considering buying this camera but I noticed that aside from the usb, it does not come with an adapter for battery charging. Can anyone give me an advice on what adapter (tech specifics) is appropriate to be used for the YI Lite camera's battery, in order not to damage it? Thank you!
There is a much cheaper action cam with EIS called the COOAU 4k EIS action camera. It's about $40-$50 depending on where you buy it from. Please review it! Oh yeah, it also comes with an external lavaliere mic.
Paid $67 for the Yi Lite today on Amazon flash sale. Returned my GoPro Hero 5 Black.
Wow that’s a fantastic deal!
Richard Moynahan Same here! We got the same deal lol. Somehow mine ended up only being 60$ with a free headband mount.
Damn Yi is killing the market with their prices across the board, how on earth are they doing this o.O
Maybe running at a loss to capture market share?
The Everyday Dad that's a very good point! considering they make so much money with all their other products, I could definitely see the company doing that seeing as they're the new guys on the block and want to make a name for themselves.
I realized halfway in that I recognize the bridge you are walking over at about the 4:40 mark. That's the rapids pavilion in Evans, GA. I'm from the Augusta area originally, just moved to Denver in June.
That’s awesome! Yeah that’s one of my favorite places to ride my bike 😁👍
Small world haha, I'm a filmmaker, next time we're in town we should do a video together or something.
That’s an awesome idea but I’m moving out of the state really soon 👍
Cool cool, thought I'd put it out there. Have fun with your travels!

Yeah I think this is an awesome camera for the price and all the tech they’ve crammed into it! 😁👍
Was the aluminum case on the yi site? I plan to mount this on my chest and take it on my bike.
No it was a generic one on amazon.
Got the old YI , a GoPRO,and a Sony HDR but this looks well worth getting , love the T screen.
I also agree 4K is being sold the same as mega Pixel numbers are being sold for Stills cameras .
For everyday use 1080 is great same as 16mp works fine for stills (as long as both have a decent piece of glass in front)
I have found a supplier for £99 with waterproof housing included.
Thanks for the vid review.
Yeah it’s a really great little camera 😁 I’m glad the video helped out 👍
Thanks for the comment!
"The Everyday Wife" sounds like something you don't want to call her when she's in the room! 😂😂😅😓😂
Got it - thank you! All I need this for is family vids.
Had to sub, your vids are kinda awesome.
Love your humor on all your UA-cam bits. Keep it up!
Thanks so much 😁👍
Thanks for a great review. Did you record the Yi footage with the gimbal?
I believe all of the hand held shots were done with a gimbal unless otherwise annotated. Its been a little bit since I released this video.
Great comparison that never tried by other youtubers! Good job!
+김준희 thanks so much for the comment!
awesome video thanks! what's the case you picked up? and would you recommend it?
The case is just a generic metal one on amazon, I think it cost $10 or something.
Can you do a "Yi 4k vs Yi Lite"?
+PonyCamNL I don’t have a yi 4k right now but I’ll look in to getting one 😁 thanks for the tip 👍
How long can you record if you have it plugged in? Until the sd fills up?
YESSSS PLEASE DO
Honestly I don't need 4k because Google photos gives you free unlimited storage for 1080p videos
I love all your videos!! I have been watching your vids for a few months now.. and you have been so helpful with making my decision on purchasing my next few gears for vlogging..
Hey, just wondering, where do you get that black and white target table mat!?
Nice review. Any chance you have links to (or brand/model names of) the aluminum case you got from Amazon, as well as which gimbal you are using? Thanks!
Don't worry about thumbs down, you did a great review! There are idiots on the net who go from review to review and, without watching, just click thumbs down, all day! Cheers!
Yeah you get used to it 😁
Thanks for the comment!
When you talk about yi lite every you videos. I fill you very excited. Good job dad.
Wait until we unlock 30fps in 4K - that will be a game changer.
+Yi Pro - special Yi Cam settings wow 4k 30 fps on the YI Lite would be amazing! 😳
The Everyday Dad sir yes sir. Stay tuned :-)
Can you connect a mic for motovloging on a motorcycle?
how does it work in the cold ?
I just got a Yi 4K (not +). I use it for just 1080p - I don't have a 4K PC monitor, home TV or projector to use. Neither do friends who'd be interested in looking at my videos. And 1080p on UA-cam is just fine. The Yi cameras are really good value.

Sure thing! :)
Tom, just git a MI drone4K..you wont need a add on cam.
This Yi sounds like a great action camera. I want one for a cruise I'm going on and actually for alot more. Do you know if its waterproof? Or should I get a waterproof case, and what about night and sunrise shots?
Did YI LITE can able to add with any external mic ?
It has a mini hdmi out so I believe you could get an adapter.
That means, surely i can use a external mic ?

you hit one main thing on the head..."you get a lot for a hundred bucks!"...and I agree 100 percent
I totally think the yi lite is a little powerhouse on a budget 😁
Hi TED, excellent video very much appreciated and thanks for posting. Apologies if you mentioned it and I missed it but do you know if the Yi Lite has the LDC (lens distortion correction to straighten the fish-eye appearance) function that the Yi 4K has? I think it does but I don’t think it actually reduces the fisheye look a noticeable amount. 😁👍
do you think this would be good for a basic vlogging setup?
there is mic port ?!! 3.5 or .....
They both have micro hdmi out so an adapter might be able to be used for a microphone.
Does it have a linear mode in 1080p 60fps? This is what I love on my gopro hero 4 silver.
I’ll have to check, I use linear mode a lot but I’m not sure about the 60fps.
Would have liked to hear the audio. Is it any good? How long does the battery last in 1080/60?
Am beginner and I just bought a bike and am starting this " new chapter" of going on bike rides , so how does is fare in that sense ? Also how is the underwater photography on this ? Again beginner here ..
Can you do a review of the original Yi Action Camera US Edition?
I don't have that one right now, but I'll keep it in mind for the next time I'm looking for a cheapest action camera to review!

Not saying you should do those things but maybe can you give the camera a shake or somehow show the magnitude of image correction with the image stability feature? Thanks for posting this video!
What about Rexso Explorer K with 4k@30fps 6axis stabilized or ThiEye T5 Edge? Explorer K was 70$ in December 90$ now. Edge is similar price point.
I’ll have to check those out. Thanks for the tip! 😁👍

Great review! can you do a review of the SJCam SJ7Star?
I have sjcam on my list of things to check out in the future 😁👍

I don’t think the Yi Lite can act as a dash cam but Yi does make a dash cam that I found on amazon for $50
You're the bomb dude. Thanks for the review. Especially the build quality part
Well thanks so much! 👍
Thanks all>,?@?😋
I've been interested in getting an action camera but was unsure as to whether I wanted to go all out on a GoPro or try something entry level (price-wise) first. +GetOutTheHouseGoFish maybe that’s something I can add as an addendum in an Instagram video or something 🤔
GetOutTheHouseGoFish The Yi 4k+ probably has the best audio. the Hero5 probably the worst ;-)

I’ve never used a Yi 4K but if all you want is 1080p 60fps the Yi Lite should be plenty.
@The Everyday Dad...Thanks!!
Could you compare it to the Hawkey Firefly 8S or 8SE?
Can the Yi be used with the GoPro Karma gimbal??? Thank you in advance!
I don't believe it can. I don't have a Karma grip so I'm not 100% but I believe karma only works with GoPros.
Something to know, if you shoot your family videos in 4K, when you watch your family vids 10 years from now, they will look much better than 1080p.
That’s a good point. I still think 1080p is the perfect family video format but I’m sure my uncle thought the same thing of his mini vhs tapes 😁
here is the million dollar question what is the record time without going into a loop, not the runtime of the camera but actual record time with no loop?
Hello everyday dad, (no idea what your real name is). I am thinking of buying a GoPro 6. By searching for reviews on UA-cam I found your channel. After seeing a couple of your vids concerning the GoPro 6 I became a fan of your channel and subscribed on your channel. So keep on posting!
I have a question, all reviews on UA-cam deal with all possible settings, of the GoPro. But what I want to know is, what settings would you recommend using in daily life. And what settings do you use, and why did you choose for those settings.
Frame rate (1080, 2.7K or 4K)
Stabilization on or off
60, 30, or more FPS
Protune on or off.
Wide, linear, extra wide.
Etc, etc.
maybe you already made that vid, but I did not see all your vids yet, have to catch up.
Many thanks for your awesome vids from the Netherlands 🇳🇱
Is yi lite good for a pov videos
Nice review as usual.
Thanks so much!
Do you have a link for the aluminum case? Thanks
Nevermind I found it!
Where?
Hi..Hows the audio playback(internal mic) on the yi?
which action cam can u recommend that has good stabilization need for biking (cheap of course) thanks
This one, the sj5000 x elite or the gitup git 2
Great review, it's giving me some ideas 👍
Hi
I really like your Reviews but even though I have looked at most of them I still have a question.
Do you mean you want to be able to use a microphone with it? Or you want wind reduction straight from the camera?
Either way, i don´t mind using an external microphone. My guess is that it is hard to get a good noice reduction without a microphone.
For the TomTom it doesn´t matter if I use an external microphone, the hardware isn´t up for the job.
But I don´t want to use it for talking, just for picking up the Beautiful sound from the Engine.
I would recommend the Sony FDR X3000 then. It’s got the best stabilization and it has a 3.5mm in! That means you don’t need any kind of an adapter to use a wind protected microphone.
will it fit in a gopro head set
Can i add a external mic to this Camera?
+GrinningBlack there is no audio jack there is only a micro usb. Maybe if you could find an adapter it would work but I haven’t tried.
The Everyday Dad Ok thanks
You should be able to find a lav microphone with a USB connector if you search for GoPro accessories on Ebay or Taobao.com, I have one for my Gitup Git2 which also has a USB input and it works great.
James Angrave works it on this Camera too ? Have you a link for this , i know the Micro usb mic but dont know if all works
This is the mic I use with my Gitup action cam.

+R.Rutherford I’ll definitely look into that! I’m pretty crazy about action cameras 😎thanks for the tip!
Well i took a look and Amazon has a pretty pathetic selection of sellers for these cameras, however they are available @ banggood or gearbest
Is this any good for motovlogging (just for fun, not professional). How's the EIS when mounted on a helmet?
Apeman 4k vs yi lite witch one good bro?? I looking for best audio
I haven’t used an apeman 4K but the audio out of the Yi Lite is pretty good.
Thank you so much for your kind replay. Your the best
Does this YI has a HDMI output?
Can I use this with an hdmi out?
Does it come with a remote control?
Unfortunately it does not. It's a very bare-bones setup with only the camera and a battery.
Regarding stabilization, if we use the Gimbals then do you think it worth to have it ?. If yes, please suggest Gimbals for this action camera, which we can use for phone also.
Does it have time+date stamp on photo?
Hmmm... I may have found my action camera.
How well do you think this would be on a motorcycle?
Thanks
+BillUtah if it’s attached to you on your helmet I think it would be ok, but if you were to attach it to the bike itself the shaking would probably override the stabilization. 😁👍
Nice review. Picked one up on Amazon for $65 a couple of days ago.
That’s an awesome deal! Thanks for the comment! 😁👍
is yi lite and yi 4k still worth it this 2018?
Checkout the akaso brave 4
I’ll have to look at that one 😁 thanks for the tip 👍
which one would you recommend or how about AKASO EK7000 4K WIFI Sports Action Camera Ultra HD
Hi I am new to the gopro world do u have any Advice for me I bought a 3-D R solo and wanted to know if so I have to buy a gopro or can I buy a gopro look a like with the Go pro features please help
How about akaso v50 pro or v50x?? Who's better action cam with yi lite?
Thx....
yi lite or mijia????
i need to know which one should i buy............
i havent any gimbal
Thank you for the review. I'm thinking of buying this one. Because i don't travel that much but i need to atleast have an action cam when i do travel. If i buy a go pro which is expensive and i won't be able to use it that much. Might as well buy a cheaper one.
The 4k 15fps would be good if you were to go with x2 or more cause it would be smooth, clear, and a good timelapse
Great video but I think u forgot to review the sound(mic) between both of them.
LOVE MY YI.....truth be told.
Me too 😁
any alternative for $60 and under?
I have the yi lite ...only problem is noisy and less Detail on video in night time... reply me I can share a sample
I am a motovloger.tell me the best cam with 1080 at 60fps with eis
The best one? The GoPro hero 6 has the best eis on the market right now.
I mean the best budget wise dady
I like the straightforwardness of your reports but this one is really not a comparison between those two cameras
You can turn off the fish eye. I use Yi 4K and Yi Original and it works a lot better than Lite
+Clement Tong how can you turn off the fisheye? I looked through the settings and didn’t see anything.
Now a subscriber .... great work , thanks
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it 😁👍
The Everyday Dad ... my pleasure , I'm an everyday dad too and some things need to be on budget ... so kudos to you for reviewing and comparing all budgets on offer . Gotta love the realistic / honest approach too . Cheers again from aus
dose it have a hat clip
Great review and they come with a good quality waterproof case in Britain.
Make sure you watch the video in 1080p. Settings might have it lower.
I am seriously considering buying this camera but I noticed that aside from the usb, it does not come with an adapter for battery charging. Can anyone give me an advice on what adapter (tech specifics) is appropriate to be used for the YI Lite camera's battery, in order not to damage it? Thank you!
I personally buy 3rd party batteries from Amazon. When you buy a set they normally come with a battery charger that works with the included batteries.
Does it support an external mic?
It has an hdmi out so with an adapter it should work.
There is a much cheaper action cam with EIS called the COOAU 4k EIS action camera. It's about $40-$50 depending on where you buy it from. Please review it!
Oh yeah, it also comes with an external lavaliere mic.
yi lite or mijia 4k????
