Project Neon - Stage 1 Re-Recording (more "oomph" edition) [NEOGEO]

- Quick re-recording of stage 1 with some minor gfx updates and the updated player shots. Not all power upgrade stages are shown in the recording (there are 5 for main/wide each tho), but you should be able to tell that things feel way less peashooter-ish and much more satisfying than before. We'll still do more balancing across all stages (strength/speed/frequency of enemies + bullets) as soon as we finish the end boss(es) 🙊 of the last stage now.
Oh, and the hit pallet of the L1 end-boss core unit will also be addressed again. It currently doesn't cover the number of palettes of the actual sprite.
Great to see this from you guys. Awesome to see you doing what you best. I posted this up on the Neo-Geo thread over on the forums on AtariAge for others to take notice. Thank you for all you for the community fellas. 8^)

Awesome, great to see a new Neo-Geo game coming soon and it looks great, I wish you guys or SNK could comeout with a sequel to Magician Lord and Nam-1975, a Super spy 2 would also be incredible with Awesome new detailed graphics and story, it would be out of this world, great job on this new game, it really has the look, sound and feel of a Neo classic, this is the games SNK should've made back in the 90s.

That boss has a lot of life.
Seriously guys this looks amazing. I've been following this on and off since the beginning, but haven't seen any footage in a long time. I love the direction this has taken, has a strong Toaplan vibe and I love that.
There's way too many yellow bullets fired by the enemy, needs to be reduced. Pink enemy bullets seem fine.
You mean you don't like the colour, or you're saying it's too difficult?
