I have been trying to get into IT the last couple of years, I started off with ComptiA+ but it always felt like I was way in over my head. But ever since I found your channel, I decided to step back and start with the ITF, so far it feels more comfortable with the topics you are taking about. Thanks for the videos.
This!! So many people jump to the A+ as the gold standard but I think they are wrong and put themselves through a lot of unnecessary stress. The ITF+ is a much better intro into the IT field and builds a solid foundation with less risk when you take the test. Good luck!
@@tjhouston I grew up playing games on PC so I am familiar with some of the things that you are covering in your videos, it's just interesting to see what the name of certain things are and how they work together.
@@tjhoustonI’m planning on doing this ITF exam. What do you think I should do after that. Should I do network+ first before A+ because you mentioned network + helped you with A+. Just wanted to know which cert is best to do after ITF?
I’m going back to college for CIS. My classes are 100% online which is something new for me. Having these lectures have helped me tremendously. Please keep them coming if you’re able to. Just reading the book isn’t enough for me. The book defines terms with other terms that aren’t defined. I can’t say thank you enough and I’d appreciate it if you could point me in the direction of any other resources.
I just started studying for comptia IT F and I am happy to have found this channel. I see you only have lectures until module 3 but I still appreciate your amazing work. ❤❤❤
Hey TJ, will there be videos for Modules 4 and 5 coming? I love your series and approach and would love to not have to outsource for the last couple modules
Hi TJ - Great content! I'm brand new to this, so this may be a stupid question, but can you explain more about CPU, Memory, and RAM? My understanding is that memory is not part of the CPU, so I was getting tripped up in the beginning of this video around the 10-12min mark.
Thanks for taking the time to school us on ITF+. I am looking to start a career in IT and I thought ITF+ would be the best place to start.
Heck yah! Happy to help. How is your studying going?
Hey TJ, I'm transitioning into IT and I am glad to have found your channel. I just started out with module 1 so far it's going great!

Good video, using this to review for comptia itf+ exam
Ready 4 Module 2 as soon as you finish re-recording them🫡 in the 🪖. Unless I grab certification or whichever comes first.
I am taking a bootcamp for security and now I am thinking I need to really start here.
I like the ITF because it gives a good foundation to start from.
Yes you should

Hello TJ I’d like assistance with projects to work on while learning the theory of IT
The biggest thing I can recommend is home labbing. Start with downloading Ubuntu and playing with Linux. Maybe build a webserver to host a website!
I cant find the link to your paid course in the description
Life happened and delayed the project.
Would you have any labs that I can learn from on this ITF + course?
This is something I’m hoping to update with the tech+
Hi, I have a question. Is charger of mobile or laptop is peripheral ?
That's a unique question, Dude.
I think that's peripheral.
