Question 15 is actually good. The reason they mention 8GB RAM is because only a 64-bit system can access more than 4 GB of RAM. a 32-bit system is limited to only 4GB of RAM. The CAD program that needs to be installed requires 8GB of RAM and therefore needs to be installed on a 64-bit system.
Thank you so much for this video. The way you explained the questions made it seem so simple and I really understood how to understand the questions and what to look for in the questions, like the main components and everything. The only things I studied yesterday was watching this video, another comptia IT fundamentals video that was around 2 hours, and half of a four hour CompTIA a+ exam video. I spent about 7 hours. They should be on UA-cam. I didn't take any notes, but I'm sure it would be a lot more helpful to do so. I took my CompTIA ITF+ exam today and passed with a 695. Basically, don't waste your money on the exam preps on the official website lol. Honestly this video was amazing and I love your style of teaching it makes everything so easy to understand. Thank you so much!
Just finished watching the whole video! This was really helpful. I’m just getting into I.T and have been studying for my ITF+ since I want to make sure I got the basics down and then I’ll move on to A+ or Network+ and most definitely I want to take the Security+ (which is what I started off studying first before I watched multiple I.T UA-camrs that made me realize I need to learn the fundamentals before anything). I’ve also been watching your Help Desk videos as well. Thanks again! Glad to be furthering my education with you all.
Same for me. I got the Google Tech Fundamentals but no one really recognizes it so I'm taking my ITF on Sept. 27, very soon. I learned a lot more than I thought I would from ITF. Especially databases and software, which I know little about. I'm very strong about hardware, OS, and networking, but the database and software bits were useful for my future, I felt.
I watched the whole video. Thank you for explaining the concepts in nontechnical language. I also appreciate your transparency (nobody knows it all) and humor!
Nice! I got the notification from discord. Told my boss about your channel and how it's been helping me through my shortcomings. You rock, Cobuman! You have my deepest respect!
Amazing video! I’m only 15 years old and this is the type of things I study. I plan on taking the certification this year. This helps a lot, thank you! Will be taking notes
Just finished watching the whole video. You are a great teacher. I really appreciated you taking the time to explain each of the possible answers, which helped me learn far more than just the correct answer for these particular 33 questions.
I recently failed the 1002! After watching this video I don't feel discouraged because it all comes down to the fact that the composition of the questions is tricky! Thank you for keeping it real!
On Question 15. A CAD software required 8 gigs of RAM to install. A 32 bit system will only see 4 gigs. so you must use a 64 bit system. by the way Great job thanks and I share in your frustration.
I just completed your video. I am going for the CompTIA A+ exams next week. I was intrigued by some of your other videos so I watched this as well. There is definitely some overlap, so it was more than worth my time. Thank you for making learning a lighthearted experience. I enjoyed the video and picked up some new knowledge; took some more notes. Thank you for your time in putting these very informative videos together. I subscribed as I very much like the way you explain things. :)
Good afternoon Cobuman I watch the whole video ,let me tell my opinion, I thought most part of the questions are badly worded or wrong formulated, that's why cause confusion but I think you did a great job not only giving the answer, you also go the extra mile explaining details about why is the right answer, I appreciate that because with your videos , I think I have a better knowledge. I hope you keep going creating great IT training videos.
Watched it all today. Won't lie though I was nearly screaming the answer for question 27 haha. I knew 99% of all this but great review before my test. Great job.
Thank you ! I was about to give up on this course. You have explained it well I am now starting to get it. This is my kind of learning. Mom of three from Somalia. 😂
@@leomar8928 oh no, I’m sorry, I’m studying for the exam, I have been taking practice test, every test has different things that I did not know. Do you remember what kind of questions they have?

@@Cobuman- Would you happen to have more videos for the CompTIA ITF practice exam? I took it and failed. The exam was comprised of 65 questions. I needed a 650 to pass and got a 580.

Great Job Sir, you going to help lot of students, I spend a lot of money on my A+ certificate base on those tricky question but I finally made it on my own. I highly recommend your studies to anyone planning entry level for IT, thanks for sharing 👍
You kept messing up the whole 32/64 bit RAM limit thing. Was glad to see you wide eyed when you finally realized there was a RAM limit of 4gb on 32bit systems. This was the basis of a couple of the questions. (15, 17 and 32) Windows 10 32bit was still available up until recently and was only able to use up to 4gb.
Q16, would the 8GB of RAM be significant as a 32bit would not be able to handle over 3.2GB of RAM? As such, the answer would have to be D as only a 64bit would be able to handle the CAD software?
Enjoyed the video. Getting close to taking the exam. I'm just trying to figure out the 2nd ID that i have to show to prove my identity. I have one naturally but the 2nd ID is from the college that i will take the exam at. The student ID, but that was from 4-6 years ago. Hoping that will work, plus i'm going back to that school in the fall to finish my associate's degree. So maybe i'll update my student ID when i go to sign up for classes and schedule it then. Also once i get my degree i may do an online university for a bacholores. I really don't know know which path i'd like to go down. I've been torn between network admin or database admin lately, or maybe even system analyst. Maybe help desk will give me a clearer idea of what i would like to specialize in. BTW years ago i build a computer and had everything in the right place, but i did not have the parts inserted securely. They actually found some loose screws at the computer shop for when i had it checked, because it would not even turn on. I've never been the type to work with my hands, well at least with computer parts. The practice question's really don't seem that bad to me now . I've gone through like 4 different sources reviewing all of this. I have actually been using computers since my first which was a pachard bell that had windows 3.11 and an intel 480x processer. Also it had like 4mb of ram. AOL was my internet bowser with dial up. Plus i used to mod skyrim so i've had more experience with file explorer. I feel like i'm ready for the exam, but that 2nd id thing may need to updated. I've been working toward a career change. Been in retail for 24 years. Never moved up with the company, pay is poor, gotten more physical over time and my body is starting to feel it. So working toward a career change over the summer. Hopefully i can get an entry level IT job by the time school starts in 3 months going the certification route and do something like help desk while i finish my Associates degree. My body and mind will thank me in the long run. Hopefully i will be able to switch in 3 months. Perhaps IT or maybe even a receptionist job. Basically something to do with computers instead of stocking shelves. I've gotten burned out with putting out groceries.
I hear ya. I've done many years of retail as well and it is hard work for sure. You could probably get a Help Desk job but considering your situation I think trying for entry level on-site IT support would be much more accommodating for learning new skills. I have a question for #13. You said before that when users don't activate a like windows 10 they would get this message but the question states that they are trying to activate it, so wouldn't it be some kind of virus.
Just took this exam, this style of question is how it was presented, but the CompTIA cert master practice test are not they don’t present the question like these n the current test do, the test gave scenario base question, CompTIA does not which is disappointing.. thanks for this information
@@Cobuman yea man I was 2 questions short of passing , CompTIA definitely has to at minimum keep the same style of question on both tests. Just like you were quest the test questions, I was also.
Hi ! I really want to get going already. I want to make my way through cyber security but I have no idea on how to go about it. I guess am gonna start here with the ITF+. But please help.
Yeah, it's super bad. Imagine if people talked like that in real life. There is a saying: "just because nobody understands you, does not make an artist".
Hi cobuman. I have query pls answer. If we want to take remote access to the PC to trouble shoot but we could not. So in this case the remote PC not in the situation to get access(it got hanged) . Or else it might also cause of BSOD error. In this two situation how can we resolve the issue. Mainly if remote PC not accessible and it caused by error BSOD. pls reply.
If you can't use SSH or telnet then you have to physically restart the machine with the power button if it is hung. Having wake on lan enabled is also helpful in the situations as well if the machine simply Powers down.
I'm still learning and enjoy your channel but that question 15 is worded fine and I'm a bit surprised you seemed unaware that 32 bit OS can only use 4GB RAM. Also, there are still 32 bit OS on SBCs like raspberry pi, although they now have stable 64 bit OS as well
😁Last time I saw a Windows OS with 32bit only system was nearly 20 years ago (Windows XP). Yes, newer OS like Windows 7 or 8 had an option of installing 32bit only... but that would have been detrimental and silly. For the current IT Fundamentals cert to include a question about a 32bit Windows OS that nobody in the world should be using is a huge surprise to me. I'm pretty sure this cert is not referring to raspberry pi OS setup or similar.
@@Cobuman you are right, they barely touch on Linux overall never mind for arm based SBC. I meant no offense. I guess I only know because of my pi and studying for these exams so I'm sure most people in the field never have to remember that. Thanks for taking the time to reply and I appreciate your videos.

Hi ! I really want to get going already. I want to make my way through cyber security but I have no idea on how to go about it. I guess am gonna start here with the ITF+. But please help.
The people that word questions on exams must believe it is an art form.
Yeah, it's super bad. Imagine if people talked like that in real life. There is a saying: "just because nobody understands you, does not make an artist".
Thank you sir
My pleasure.
Thank You!
Sure thing.
On question 15 32bit os can only use max 4GB of ram
Nice catch!
I am still here xD

Hi I’m here!
hello
I watched this a hour before I took the test and I passed
That is awesome! Congratulations!
I just went to Comptias site and did both practices exams. Pretty basic stuff mostly with a few "advanced" questions mixed in...
@@ashtreylil1 My thoughts exactly, thanks for answering his question.
@@ashtreylil1 in windows ssh will not work .and about telnet how it will work if nothing is working and got hanged due to BSOD.
Can you pls answer?
It means there is no another way except restarting machine physically.
Thanks
Sure thing.
@@Christopherjoe All good. I was thinking the same thing when I was editing the video.
