Awe, he looks like a cat that I had until he passed. He was a munchkin cat. His front legs were short, but his back legs were normal size. He found us! We searched for his original owners, we put up signs, we called the vets and we had him checked for a chip and no one ever came forward and we never could find his first family. I already had several cats and we were already feeding and watering and getting feral cats fixed, vaccinated and treated for any other ailments and I was not looking for another cat by any means. It was winter when he came to us, so I put a heating pad on low and wrapped it in a couple of towels and then put it into one of those cat litter boxes that have a lid with a door on it for him to sleep in and stay warm. I worked midnights and when I would come home from work, he would hear my car and would come running to meet me at my door before I could even get out of the car. I finally brought him in with my other cats after getting his health checked out so that he wouldn't infect my other cats in case he had anything wrong. He loved riding in the car with me. He came into the house and every cat in the house loved him. He is in the top three of being my most favorite cats of all time! He looked just like your little guy, except his teeth were perfect. I am so glad that you guys got this little guy and he is now living his best life! You guys are awesome! Thank you for sharing this video... It has done my heart good seeing this little guy!
@@UsandEveryoneWeKnow I have no idea... The vet said that he was a munchkin cat. They actually have a breed called Munchkin Cats. My cat had long back legs, but short front legs. Look them up... They're adorable!
Great comment! When I was at school, I did my work experience at a vets clinic and was surprised to find that there’s always at least one member of staff staying overnight to keep an eye on the inpatients.
Having adopted a dwarf cat recently, I have an immense appreciation for these little warriors. She was picked up from the sticks in Florida, is white furred and older, had an owner at one point because of being spayed and some teeth missing from surgeries. The fact she lived through all that among the wildlife for any stretch of time, shows how tenacious and wonderful even a special needs cat can be if given a chance to prove their will to live. Now my little Aria is resting on my chest right now, purring in safety where she deserves to be.
@@CuddleBuddiesChannel he's not perfect... he's the opposite...you saying he is will make people want one and try to find ways to breed this purposely... genius...😏
He's got to be about the cutest little thing I've ever seen! I don't know how anybody could leave him alone even overnight! I bet everybody misses him in the mornings! What a little cutie pie! ✨💕🐾✨
It's a Neener! This video made me cry happy tears, and some sad ones, too. Ozzy reminds me of my dwarf kitty, Janine, aka Neener. She came to the rescue and could barely walk or hold herself up to eat. The founder was contemplating putting her to sleep, but called me first to see if I would take her and try to rehabilitate her, as that was my #1 job at the rescue. My ex and I rushed to her house and brought Neener home. We rehabilitated her, and while doing so, found out that she was a dwarf and that she had congenital hypothyroidism. Some of her issues mimicked human child autism and she had seizures that made her lash out at everyone, including herself. As she got older, they subsided. Everyone loved Neener and thought she was super adorable. They all wanted her, but they had no idea what it took to take of her. Neener had what our small animal vet called "cute little hillbilly teeth." She was the one who figured out that she was a dwarf and several months older than we thought. Our cat/dog vet is who diagnosed her with congenital hypothyroidism. With all of her issues, she shouldn't have made it past a few months. We kept being told that she wasn't going to live long. First it was a year, then 3, then 7. We had her for 10 years and when she went it was fast. She was playing and her little heart just gave out. Neener was our little miracle kitty. On the way home from the founder's house, we knew she was a foster failure and she'd be a part of our family for life. She looked SO MUCH like Ozzy! Her back legs and tail were longer, her ears were shorter, and she didn't have a snaggle tooth, but they could be brother and sister. I saw Ozzy and immediately started balling. I still am. I miss her SO MUCH! We lost her a couple of months ago. My ex called her my little chihuahua, because she was always with me, like my little shadow. Neener went from barely walking, to running, zooming, scaling stairs (literally jumping over 3 at a time-which should have been impossible-given her size!), sliding down the bathroom door, and jumping off the couch way up in the air like a jack rabbit. She was bow legged and her front legs were way shorter than her back ones. She crossed her back legs to support herself when she ate. She figured out her near sightedness and that if she saw a toy in one spot, it was a few inches to the left. She was the tiniest cat in a house with cats weighing almost 20 pounds, but she was the queen. Neener went from being afraid of everything, including crinkly toys and plastic bags, to being a fearless ruler. She hated anyone fighting or raising their voices and would break it up, whether it was other cats or people. Sherrif Neener didn't tolerate hatefullness or violence and she'd get right up in your face and scream at you to stop that foolishness! I miss my baby. I miss taking her on car rides to watch the wiper blades when it rained, watch all of the lights flash by at night, and stare with wonder at all of the Halloween and Christmas lights. I miss cuddling her. I miss her always being right behind me, even when I was in the kitchen cooking or doing dishes. And I miss watching her play and just be a happy cat that didn't let her disabilities stop her from finding joy in life. I suffer from chronic pain and several health issues, and whenever I was down, I'd just watch her and suck it up because she never let her challenges stop her from living a full, enriching, joyous life. RIP NEENER. Mammu misses you. There is a hole in my heart that will never heal.

Absolutely, Persian cats, pugs and other flat faced pets suffer from a lot of bad health conditions. Luckily there’s more awareness and some breeders are trying to bring back the “retro pug” which resembles more of a small boxer so while wrinkly with a short snout they’re much healthier and don’t suffer extreme breathing difficulties
