Would you look at those little steps🥺 We're not crying you are!
I would of still adopt a dwarf cat if one of them was available and needed a home. Especially if it's a tuxedo or black cat.
Those two are my all time favorites. So glad Fig has such a wonderful family that loves her and cherishes her.
I also have a dwarf cat. I found her on a cold rainy night alongside the road, wet and unable to walk. I think her mom abandoned her. She was tiny so I put her in my pocket and she slept all night while I worked. On the way home I bought infant formula (people) I had to force feed her with an eyedropper for a couple weeks.
Fast forward 5 years. She happy and healthy, about 1/3rd the size of a typical cat. She's feisty and doesn't take any crap from the normal cats. She's my special buddy, she prefers me over anyone, probably because my scent is comforting after spending a night in my pocket.
Her name is baby because she's forever a little kitten.
@@TheBandit7613 What a wonderful story and you're also wonderful. My "Baby" will be 17 years of age on March 1, 2024! Like you, I found her in a cold, pouring rain under a pile of trash (some people can be so cruel)! Take care of your Baby...she obviously loves you very much!!! ❤❤❤❤😻😻😻
@@usmale49 Thank you. She's a pleasure to be around. It's funny to watch her hiss (she has a menacing hiss) if another cat moves in on her treats.
She goes to the vet twice a year for check ups and teeth cleaning. The vet says she's very healthy and thinks her lifespan will be normal.
May your Baby have MANY more birthdays!
@@TheBandit7613 Oh thank you so very much. I, too, hope Baby has many more HAPPY BIRTHDAYS. She will be getting a few extra "nom noms" on her special day! I just love my "Baby Girl' so much and of course she has her very special spot on my bed!!!
This is why some cat shows won't accept breeds like Munchkins, because of people who *intentionally* breed cats to have these tiny legs that limit their mobility, which is cruel whether or not you find them cute. So happy that you gave this adorable little one a loving home!
Yeah. I hate that people deliberately breed "novelty" pets for some idea of cuteness, with disabling physical characteristics. All said though, I'm so glad to see this little guy being cared for and treasured.
True. They are cute, but it is clearly gimmick breeding; to put a title to it. And they are somewhat debilitated for it.
"One small step for man, one giant leap for Figgy".She is adorable, a little cat determined to push her boundaries. Thank you for giving Figgy the best opportunities to be independent and happy.
Neil Armstrong
Actually that’s one of the greatest misquotes of all time. The real quote is “One small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.”
What a pert name for a pert little kitty!😄
I wrestle with the fact that some people can be so kind and caring while others are cruel and heartless. This little cat is a lucky one, so, so many are not. I hope you have many years with that little tiger.
I want to say the ability to be so caring and understanding and loving comes at the price for wuch horribleness and suffering. BUT that always feels wrong. Like I want to burn out the ability to be cruel for humans level of how wrong and unbalanced it is.
We just have to fight to protect the ones that can't. Giving of ourselves to support the ones that are and helping shelter them from the wicked winds and grievous glares from the muck the worst of humanity thrives in.
It is easy to commit to constant altruistic acts when one only has to contend with first world problems.
I do not deny that there are truly horrible people out there, but do not conflate them with those whom simply are not currently capable of taking on such tasks without a noteworthy hindrance to their own livelihoods.
There's more good in the world than you see because the algorithm is designed to show you what makes the platform the most money. Hate, anger, and outrage sell best.
@@halo3odst I don't think that people in rich countries are kinder than people in poor countries or vice versa. You have good people in both and very unfortunately horrible ones in both as well
@Jay W
You appear to have misunderstood my point.
If one does not have many issues in their life then it is easy to take on the issues of others.
If one has many issues in their life then it is inadvisable to put one’s self further out there to fix or mitigate the problems of others.
This may be misconstrued by the POV of one on the outside of the situation as the person in the second example being heartless when in fact they are not but simply cannot afford altruism.
Looking out for one’s self first doesn't mean that somebody is selfish and at times may be the best course of action in a tough situation.
There is a reason why flight attendants instruct passengers to put on their own oxygen mask first before attempting to help others around them do so.
She’s absolutely adorable! Fig is a very lucky girl to have such caring parents. She gets to have someone watching over her while letting her live her best life adventures.
💖💕
Methinks the owners are the lucky ones
Word!👍🏼
Just came in to comments to say the same thing.
Fig must feel like Gulliver, when he travelled to the land of giants. Then again, if she is the only cat in the home, she would feel like any full-size cat as they are all much smaller than their humans. The RAMPS are a great idea! They allow Fig to go wherever she wants independently.
she’s beautiful
She is so vocal! And "cute" doesn't even start describing Fig! What a win-win situation for this precious kitty and her adoptive family!!!!
In her mind, she IS a normal kitty. I love how you've added aids around the house to accommodate her. She chose well when she decided to adopt you. You are her ... everything! Congratulations!
This poor animal is struggling and suffering. It's not a cat. It's very sad.
@@MrGriff305 calm down bud she’s okay lmao
@@MrGriff305 would ya say the same thing about humans with dwarfism? that they arent human just sad suffering things? cuz its the same thing bro.
@@Kris-wo4pj Interesting. Have we bred or biologically engineered people with extremely short arms and legs? Do you think we should?
@@MrGriff305 While I won’t deny, that humans have done these things to cats and other animals (some still do and I, too, condemn these actions), according to the video, she wasn’t bred or engineered to be that small. At least we can be sure about that, if she was born at the adoption center, since they haven’t seen a cat with dwarfism before.
Which brings me to my next point: feline dwarfism is a rare genetic mutation (or more like multiple mutations), that cause a disproportionate body and other health concerns. While rare and cats having it needing special care, it is no different than humans who were born with an extra finger, a missing toe, themselves being born with dwarfism or other things like that. Sometimes big and/or small mutations happen, no matter how healthy or unhealthy the parents of a living being are. That doesn’t automatically mean said living being would be suffering or be unhappy.
And that cat is clearly happy and while having a bit more difficulty than a completely healthy cat, she isn’t suffering. She is walking around, exploring her surroundings, jumping on things, she talks, she plays and is completely relaxed when petted. Her whole body language in the video screams comfortable, happy cat. So, while I wouldn’t be happy, if the owner was trying to breed her with other cats to keep these mutations (which she absolutely wouldn’t even if she wanted to, the cat is literally spayed), I am happy, that the owner adjusted to her cats needs and is taking so good care of her.
Fig is just a awesome cat! It doesn't matter that she is a dwarf she is a beautiful bundle of joy and energy!! What A Cutie!!😁😁😁😁!!
My close friend had a dwarf cat back in 90s. We saw it as very cute and it was pretty much an indoor cat and enjoyed her life thoroughly. We all used to love that cat. With your love it’ll be OK.❤
What a little doll. She’s so careful when she’s walking.
Fig is adorable, and it's nice to know she has a human family that loves her very much!💕👍
Small Cat, BIG Love!🥲🥰
She is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS ❤!!! 🌻💜
Fig is adorable and precious. I love it when Katie is petting her. You can hear Fig purring like a little motor. It’s so cute.
Katie is very thoughtful to have set up stairs and ramps to help Fig navigate her surroundings. Fig is definitely loved and living a happy life. 😺❤️😺❤️😺🌈
She looks like a smaller version of my Bo. I have two cats that are much smaller than my other cats, but they're smaller because they were born into a feral colony and probably didn't eat very well in those critical first couple of months. However, these two 5 pound cats keep up quite well with the rest of our group, jumping and climbing everything. The bonus is it's like having two perpetual kittens, and who wouldn't want that? Fig is absolutely adorable ❤❤.
SHE IS SOOOOOOOO BEAUTIFUL!!!!❤❤❤❤🐱🐾🐾🐾
She is so precious 💞
Sheeee isssss a smoll fluff ball❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Dwarf cat? That's fine, they adapt, we adapt. It works out.😊
Perfectly said and oh so true!
Very adorable. I don't think or even would think that a cat like her wouldn't be an issue in raising her like a normal cat. What they did with the ramps and stuff was epic lol and I'm pretty sure she's going to have a great life. Thanks for sharing this with us and as always, have an awesome day 👍💯
Fellow Dwarf/Little Person here. You're doin' good, cat mom. :)
Thank you for taking Fig in with you! Such a precious little one, full of life. I pray that Fig has a long life with you. Take care.
Smol Fig must be protected at all costs 🥺😊♥️
Little Fig is adorable! I hope you all have many happy years together! 🤗❤
Figero Figero Figeeroooo! 😍👍
Fig is such a cutie. 😍👍
To be adopted by such a loving, accommodating household makes this one lucky cat.
Great story...
A permanent kitten. She's adorable ❤
I just lost my big baby tuxedo Kali a week ago, and I can not describe to you the joy, and peace watching this BABY baby tuxedo exist brings me. 🥺Bless this little lumpkin, they're so precious!
What an adorable little kitty. She certainly doesn't let any of her physical issues get in the way of her being a cat and doing cat things.
Nothing wrong with her at all.
She's perfect.
Fig is such a sweet cutie and is absolutely adorable and bless your heart for adopting her and giving her a great life with you 😻❤️❤️! Cats protection is a brilliant charity in the UK that do great work for cats and kittens. I must confess, I have never heard of feline dwarfism before (although one of our cats, Chi Chi who has very sadly since passed away always had the face of a kitten and was the smallest of the litter/family of kittens we have) but Fig, bless her, clearly doesn't let that stop her from doing what she loves/wants to!! Animals are so resilient, it's amazing! I wish Fig and yourself a very long and happy life together!! 😻❤️❤️
My two are from there!
@@feiryfella Bless you 😻❤️!
Absolutely beautiful ♥️😘🤗♥️
She is so very precious! We had a senior dwarf kitty adopt us that is across the Rainbow Bridge now for about a year and a half. He was the most affectionate (and obstinate!) most troublesome, most loved and fun kittie! I miss that cat so much…but he lived with us for five years…I cannot wait to see Gumby across the Rainbow Bridge..I was grieving when he had just passed, and I heard my mom from Heaven say, “He is on my lap right now!”…enjoy your precious special needs gift kitty…🙏😹😽🐈🕊✨❤️🔥💝💞✨✨✨
Cutie pie 🐈💕🐾🐾💕💕💕
She’s so precious and very lucky to have good kitty parents.
The bond you form with a special needs animal is usually very strong which makes every moment precious. It very hard when you have to let them go...
The joy I feel in my heart seeing babies like this is amazing
PRECIOUS ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I acquired three panthers born to a mama owned by very religious folk. They saw the black jellybeans and started carrying on about 'demonic' and 'satanic'. I took them at 6wks. They're now 4yrs, and the dearest fellas!
My family got our own panther much the same way, save for the husband wanted nothing to do with ending the kittens lives and instead brought on of the pair to us. Good news is he also apparently ended up divorcing the horrible woman and we got a wonderful furry friend for 17 years
Figg knows she is the queen of the house❤👑
What a precious little girl!!Too cute.So glad she's healthy. 🥰
Omg cuteness overload 😍 👑🥰🐈⬛
She is soooo loved
She IS a REAL cat!
FIG is SO HAPPY NOW because she has the BEST CAT PARENTS in the WHOLE UNIVERSE
very cute thanks
When we bring these little bodies into our homes they really bring so much extra love. I have found that when one of my furbabies has any health issues and/or conditions I do worry more but they seem to just accept it and not pay much mind. They never see themselves the same way ppl do.
She is just soooo beautiful❤
She is such a sweetheart! Thank you for caring for her so very well. I send love to you all!❤🥰
Precious Angel ❤❤❤❤
TY for adopting and adapting.....I wish you many happy years together....could you possibly build her a safe outdoor enclosure or stay with her the entire time she is outside and protect her....she could easily fall victim to large prey birds.....it's not safe anymore for our precious babies to roam free anymore ): keep enjoying your lives together ❤
That's a wonderful idea. I hadn't thought of large birds of prey. Excellent suggestion, I must say!!
Fig is perfect. Brilliant array of ramps and steps so she can explore and be safe.
She's so Adorable❤
What an angelic little face she has with those beautiful eyes! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
there is a time when you wish UA-cam would offer different size of thumb-up to express the joy of a video that it offered. well, this is definitely such video on such warm subject! love, kisses and cuddles to Lil' Fig! may you defy all odds and with the loving care of your cat mom to live a long happy feline life!!! 🥰😻👍👍👍
AwwFig is perfectly sweet! She makes me miss my Simba. Simba weighed 2 pounds when she passed at 2 yrs old from complications of her dwarfism but omgosh was she a fighter! She was determined never to let her challenges stop her from living her best life!
We had a rescue cat that was the size of a large kitten. Her name was Jack. She had a huge personality when she made our home hers. She had some kind of nerve issue that couldn't be fixed. Her back end behaved differently than the front. She was a cat in the most primal sense of the word. We had her for seven years. Bone cancer took her. She left a big hole in our hearts. Small doesn't mean a thing to a small cat. They fill large spaces with love and joy. Just like any pet, they will take the center of your bed and look like a larger animal.
Now she is just too cute! A kitten that stays a kitten, everyones dream. I hope your lives together are long and happy.
Foggy is just too adorable and so full of character, I love her. Her dwarfism is nothing compared to her beautiful character and she has a loving home with caring compassionate parents. EVERY animal deserves that no matter what their disability is. I wld adopt with no thought of disability and have that very special bond with the dog/cat. I love animals and their loyalty and love goes way beyond what humans give. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Awe Fig is so cute 🥰 what an angel 😘🐈🐾🐾 💜 from 🇨🇦
Fig is so adorable. I would've taken her in a heartbeat myself!😻😽
Fig is absolutely adorable!!!!! You can tell she is incredibly happy! 🥰. That’s what unconditional true love does!!! 💕🤗🙏❤️😊
She has the prettiest mittens and yes, a big voice 🔊❤🐱🔊❤🐱
If a dwarf were at a shelter or someone wanted to pass one to a new owner I would jump at the opportunity in a heartbeat. Beautiful kitty. These people are blessed to have her.
Talk about having a permanent kitten! She's adorable.
Totally adorable! It's almost like having a kitten that never grows up. You are so very blessed for adopting this precious little angel.
She's adorable 🥰.
OMG Fig is such a perfect name for your beautiful girl.
I'm so glad you got her from Cat's Protection and that she's spayed. There are some vile people who'd try to breed from her as she's so cute, as in munchikins, folds and other torture breeds. She's so lovely, but you don't want to encourage irresponsible breeding. I got my two from the Cat's Protection too!
A Tuxedo will steal your heart. Every time.
How could anyone not want to adopt her? She melted me. What a precious, precious cat. And that voice.
How adorable is Fig ! And nothing in the world will stop her from living her very best life ! Thank you so much for adopting her ! She is very well cared for !
🤧 aww she's so gorgeous and cute too. Bless you for adopting her and giving her a terrific forever home. Cracking good video thanks for sharing 🖤😎👍
What an amazing, beautiful little kitty cat. Happy she has a great family.😃💝👍💖🤟
What big voice ?! She sounds like a squeaky toy 😂 ! She's adorable 😊
She is perfectly imperfect. 💞💞 What a little dollbaby she is ! Her sweetness is big no matter her size. Perhaps other countries have news on dwarf cats and could help?? Well, continue to be lovely people with a lovely little Kitty!! 🐈⬛🐈⬛
You treat her with so much love and respect. You give her the best life. She will love you forever. You are great parents.❤️
*What a happy girl! Obviously loved and well cared for. She couldn't ask for a better life. Wishing you all a life of years free from tears. Strength & courage, love & luck!* 😻🍀🫶🤞
She’s purrection in every way that counts and she loves you❤❤❤
So glad she has her claws. Cats need them but especially this one.
Oh my Lord, she is beyond adorable. So sweet. Thank you for giving Fig the best home and life ever. All kitties make our own lives so much more enjoyable, you Rock Fig
Nothing wrong with her personality. So sweet. Enjoy
Did you adopt her? How old is she?
She's Blessed to have found you.❤
Exactly, who could ever say no to that cutest tiniest little furball.
I love her little voice!!!! Thank you for giving her her Best Life🥰
Those eyes thaw my heart instantly.
Who would want a beautiful little creature like Fig! She is so cute! 🥰
She's absolutely adorable. Given that she's so small I'll take two.
She's beautiful. A wee bundle of happiness.
I love that you made adaptations everywhere, even in the garden so she can explore everything
I too can't understand how cruel people can be to animals.zi know there are some of us that truly love and respect them for their honest true love and quiet peace they bring to an otherwise crazy world. God bless each and every person who loves and protects our animal world.
*OMG!* Fig is such a a sweetheart!!
I have two cats and I understand 100%, no real human with a working heart can say no to a cat!
Especially a cat that's such a sweetheart as Fig!
I want to give this tiny cat the hugest of hugs!!
She is the cutest little Fig I have seen
What a precious little girl anyone would want to have her in their family I know that I would Miss Fig have a wonderful long life 💖💖💖💖
This cute baby is living her best life - - Blessings to her caretakers
Of course she is a real kitty. She is just teeny which makes her that much more cute. I adore the sound of a purrrrrr
