I just saw this again and wanted clarify something for the first guy on the panel. The Mad Scientist is MAD. He got part of his memory about the laboratory but only realizes that he's the actual Inventor once he sees one of the flying papers in the debris with a chemical formula he once wrote which triggers his memory further of who he actually is
Did you know the same Director did Alien Resurrection? His bizarre style is pretty prevalent in that movie as well. I actually found the movie as a Bookstore not too long ago and I remember watching it when I was younger a long time ago. It felt like an absolute fever dream then and it STILL does now. It also had a Video game on PS1.
"Lost Children" gave Jeunet his big break to do a corporate Franchise film but it wasn't a good match to have a visionary Director doing another's screenplay and having to compromise and fight with Executive Producers. Too much pressure! His films with Caro are his best masterpieces: Delicatessen, Lost Children & Amelie
The way the octopus cooks was to me one of the most impressive scenes of the movie.
"The Frenchest movie ever made" has to be the most American thing to say, jokes aside this film is a fucked up MASTERPIECE!!!!🥶💕🔥✨👌👍👏🇫🇷

No way… you actually had the game haha?
@@MidnightMedia- No. But I know it exists. Mostly through game magazines.
